OK, Disney. Who’s responsible? We need names — STAT. Look at Sleeping Beauty Castle! Notice anything? Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland Resort Look closely. See that? It’s SNOW. In October. What are we doing, people? We haven’t even celebrated Halloween yet. Show some respect for the month of October! Happy holidays! The rumors are true. There is snow in Disneyland. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen these decorations show up early, but we will never get used to seeing snow in the middle of fall. Happy Holidays! The good news is that the snow-covered castle is quite pretty, so we can’t really complain too much about this early addition. Now, all we need is a cup of hot chocolate, and we’ll be in the holiday spirit. Maybe we can bridge the gap between Halloween and Christmas with a little movie night a la Time Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas. It’s pretty! Now, while we’re on the subject of holiday castles, is this a good time to bring up the Cinderella Castle Dream Lights? Because we miss them dearly. We’d even be willing to cast our principles aside and let the decorating team have at it in October if it means we get to enjoy those stunning lights this year. But, honestly, it’s probably a long shot at this point. Rest in peace, sweet, twinkly lights! Cinderella Castle Dream Lights 2018 OK, back to Disneyland because we’re still not over this snowy addition. If you’re wondering, the 2024 holiday season will officially arrive in Disneyland on November 15th, 2024, and run through January 6th, 2025. This year’s holiday season will bring a ton of NEW things to Disneyland Park. Look out for Santa meet-and-greets, a nighttime fireworks show, a brand-new scavenger hunt, souvenirs, and more! We’re getting hyped for the holiday season in Disney World! EPCOT Christmas Tree As we inch toward the end of the year, Disney World is getting prepped for the holidays, and this year, some big events are returning. We can’t wait to party all night again at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and Jollywood Nights, and of course, we’ll be spending some days at the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. If you’re planning to visit the festival this year, we’ve got a WARNING for you! One of the major highlights of the Festival of the Holidays is the Candlelight Processional. This nightly show takes place in the America Gardens Theatre and features a Cast Member choir, an orchestra, and a celebrity narrator who tells the story of Jesus’ birth. The show is absolutely stunning with all the candles and the classic holiday season music and is usually quite popular. Candlelight Processional For 2024, the showtimes have changed to 5PM, 6:45PM, and 8:15PM. If you want to catch the show, there are two ways to watch inside the theater — you either need to book a dining package at a participating EPCOT restaurant to have reserved seating, or you need to wait in the standby queue before the show starts. The standby queue can get quite long for those who don’t have reservations, and we’ve often seen Disney cut off the standby line when the theater gets full. And this year, it may be harder to get a seat! Candlelight Processional Last year in 2023, the Candlelight Processional dining packages were available to be booked at seven different table service restaurants. On top of that, you could get day-of packages at Regal Eagle Smokehouse. However, for this year, the list of dining package-eligible restaurants includes fourteen different table service spots, plus Regal Eagle. That’s double the options! Regal Eagle Dining Packages Dining packages for the show typically book up quickly because they’re so popular, so this is good news for those who haven’t been able to snag one in the past. However, this could be BAD news for people who prefer to wait standby for the shows — with more seats in the theater being filled by dining package users, there will ultimately be fewer seats for the people waiting in the standby line. Dining package entrance for EPCOT Festival of the Holidays’ Candlelight Processional Now, it’s unclear if Disney will try to balance the number of dining packages so that there are fewer available per restaurant and about the same number available overall. That’s a possibility, though not really something we’ll be able to tell until we see the pre-show crowds. For now, if you’re planning to wait in the standby queue for a Candlelight Processional, we strongly encourage you to get there EARLY. Last year, we would see people lining up for the first show as early as 3PM on nights when a popular celebrity was narrating. Candlelight Processional crowds in 2022 But if you’re hoping to avoid the long line and would rather do the dining package instead, reservations become available starting on October 29th. Prices vary depending on the restaurant, but you’ll get an entrée and dessert, or a full buffet (where applicable), as well as a nonalcoholic beverage (or alcoholic beverage for Guests 21 and older). The offerings vary slightly with the Spice Road Table dining package. 2022 Dining Package Ticket With your dining package, you’ll receive a badge with a specified time to show up at the Candlelight Processional. You’ll take that badge to the dedicated entrance and wait in the dining package queue, where you’ll be seated before the standby guests. The dining package guests also typically get closer seating than those without packages. Candlelight Processional 2023 So things could be different this year! We’ll be watching the crowds going into the festival season to see if it’s harder to get a seat. Stay tuned to DFB for all the latest EPCOT festival news! Let’s say you find yourself without the proper rain gear on your Disney vacation. Well, you can get yourself a BARGAIN poncho at the Java Bar at the Walt Disney World Swan Resort for just $3! Rain Poncho This poncho is pretty thin, yes, but it’s not much thinner than the official Disney ponchos that will cost four times that amount. Is it the world’s best poncho? Probably not. But it’ll work in a pinch! Rain Poncho Here’s what it looks like — check out that Swan and Dolphin branding. It might be worth taking the trip to the Swan and Dolphin (even if you aren’t staying there) if you want to save money on ponchos! The 2024 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival presented by CORKCICLE is serving up some fan favorite foods as well as some delicious dishes. One of those new items is the Boursin Fig & Balsamic Cheesecake from the Milled & Mulled Global Marketplace. Today we’re sharing the recipe with you! The Boursin Fig & Balsamic Cheesecake is topped with fig jam, toasted pecans, and fresh figs. The layer of spice cake on the bottom adds delicious fall flavors that complement the fig jam. It’s the perfect fall treat—whether you’re enjoying it at EPCOT or in your own home kitchen. Let’s get to the recipe! Boursin Fig & Balsamic Cheesecake EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival Makes one 9-inch cake Spice Cake Ingredients 3/4 cup all-purpose flour 1/8 teaspoon coarse salt 1/4 teaspoon baking powder 1/4 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/8 teaspoon ground ginger 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg 1/8 teaspoon ground allspice 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves 1/3 cup sugar 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar 2 eggs 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/4 cup canola oil 2 tablespoons orange juice Boursin Fig & Balsamic Cheesecake Ingredients 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened 2 (5.2 ounce) packages Boursin Fig & Balsamic Cheese 1 cup sugar 1/2 teaspoon orange zest 2 tablespoons cornstarch 1/2 cup mascarpone cheese 1/4 cup fig jam 1 teaspoon maple extract 5 eggs Topping Ingredients 1 cup fig jam 12 pecan halves, toasted 6 figs, halved Spice Cake Instructions Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9-inch springform pan with non-stick cooking spray and line bottom with 9-inch parchment paper circle. Set aside. Whisk flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, ground cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, allspice, and cloves together in a medium mixing bowl. Set aside. Combine sugar, brown sugar, and eggs in a large mixing bowl. Whisk until sugar is dissolved. Add vanilla extract and whisk until combined. Fold half of the flour mixture into the egg and sugar. Add oil and fold until combined. Fold in remaining flour and orange juice until just combined. Pour into prepared springform pan and bake for 10-15 minutes until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Place pan on wire rack and cool to room temperature. Boursin Fig & Balsamic Cheesecake Instructions Preheat oven to 300°F. Wrap bottom of pan containing Spice Cake with foil. Combine cream cheese, BoursinFig & Balsamic Cheese, sugar, orange zest, and cornstarch in the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with a paddle attachment and beat for 4 minutes on medium speed. Scrape sides of mixer bowl with spatula. Add mascarpone cheese, fig jam, and maple extract. Continue to mix at medium speed until blended. Reduce speed to low and add eggs, one at a time until fully incorporated. Pour cheesecake mix on top of Spice Cake in springform pan. Place springform pan in a baking sheet and place in oven. Carefully fill baking sheet with water. Bake for 50-65 minutes, until center of cheesecake is set. Remove from water bath and cool on wire rack at room temperature for 30 minutes. Cover with foil and refrigerate at least 4 hours before serving. To Serve Remove chilled cheesecake from refrigerator and unmold from springform pan. Top with fig jam before slicing. Serve each slice with pecan halves and fresh figs. Cook’s Note: Any variety of fresh figs can be used in this recipe. Always use caution when handling sharp objects and hot contents. Please supervise children who are helping or nearby. This recipe has been converted from a larger quantity in the restaurant kitchens. The flavor profile may vary from the restaurant’s version. There’s just something about a Disney parade that makes the heart SWELL with joy, right? Holidays in Disney World Like, every time we see Festival of Fantasy, we legit will have a smile on our face the rest of the day — it’s just so magical! We also ADORE the Boo To You parade that you can only see if you have a ticket to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. However, our favorite might be Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmas Parade that is exclusive to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. However, we’ve got a cheat with THAT holiday parade and we’re going to share it with you. So believe it or not, there IS a way to see Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmas Parade in Magic Kingdom WITHOUT a ticket to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Usually during the week leading up to Christmas, Magic Kingdom will actually put on this parade during the day for all Magic Kingdom visitors. So if you’re visiting during Christmas week, you can likely see the parade without a party ticket. Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmas Parade You might also get a chance to see Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show, the exclusive fireworks show that happens during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. This fireworks show can also often be seen by general Magic Kingdom visitors during the week of Christmas. Are you ready to set sail on a real Adventure? (See what we did there…). Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, the Disney Adventure, will be heading off for its maiden voyage in December 2025. ©Disney Disney Cruise Line just dropped a TON of new details about the ship, too, which will have its home port in Singapore. We even got as details about attractions coming to the ship, and much, much MORE. However, one thing you might have missed is that the Disney Adventure will have an entire area themed to Big Hero 6 — including a meet-and-greet with your favorite personal healthcare companion. The Disney Adventure will feature an area called San Fransokyo Street, which is inspired by Big Hero 6. This will be “a vibrant street market perfect for family entertainment with interactive games and activities, shops, cinemas and more, plus endearing encounters with the larger-than-life Baymax himself.” Yep, you’ll get to meet Baymax at sea! ©Disney However, this area will feature something that sounds AMAZING. In the Hiro Training Zone, you’ll be able to “put your hero skills to the test. Disney describes this as “an immersive training simulator built by boy genius Hiro Hamada.” It’s a “full-body experience” which “will have groups of four running, dodging and blocking their way across a high-tech gaming floor.” Say what? Okay, the first thing we thought of when reading that is that this could be how Disney plans on using that HoloTile technology that impressed us back in April. That’s what it sounds like, RIGHT? Disney described the tech as the “world’s first multi-person, omnidirectional, modular, expandable, treadmill floor.” It also allows multiple people (say, for example, groups of four) on the floor moving in different directions at the same time.  Now, Disney hasn’t confirmed this is the tech it will be using on the ship, but it certainly sounds like it’s a possibility. We’ll be keeping an eye out for more Disney Adventure announcements, so stay tuned to DFB for more. Another day, another Disney World CHANGE! ©Disney Disney World just introduced a NEW Lightning Lane Premier Pass to go along with the current skip-the-line services known as Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass. We’ve gone over the pricing for the new pass and revealed who will get to use it when it first rolls out — but now, we’re taking a look at the FULL LIST of rides included with the Lightning Lane Premier Pass! Disney just announced a new service called Lightning Lane Premier Pass, which allows single-use entry to each Lightning Lane attraction in a theme park. This skip-the-line pass can be used at ANY time; there is no need to book a reservation in advance. Lightning Lane Premier Pass differs from Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass in three big ways: Additional Flexibility: With Lightning Lane Premier Pass, you DO NOT have to select an arrival window for Lightning Lane attractions and experiences. With the other two existing Lightning Lane services, you must choose an arrival window for each Lightning Lane attraction. Combines ALL Attractions (In a Single Park) Into One Pass: Lightning Lane Premier Pass gives you single-use entry to each available Lightning Lane attraction in one park. In short, the Premier Pass combines Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass attractions. Photo Perks: With the Lightning Lane Multi Pass and the new Lightning Lane Premier Pass, you get digital downloads of select attraction photos and videos, along with access to Disney PhotoPass Lenses. Lightning Lane This new Lightning Lane Premier Pass will launch on October 30th, 2024; this service will only be available for those staying at Deluxe hotels. The new service starts at $129+ and can go up to $449 per person per day, depending on the park and time of year. Lightning Lane Now, let’s talk about what’s included in that high price tag. Keep in mind that the new Lightning Lane Premier Pass allows you to use the Lightning Lane one time at ANY attraction, ANY time of day. And, as we mentioned, even the popular rides typically reserved for the Lightning Lane Single Pass system (the pay-per-ride option) are included in the Lightning Lane Premier Pass price. Magic Kingdom is currently the the most expensive park under the new Lightning Lane Premier Pass system, with passes costing $329–$449 plus tax per person, per day. Disney Cruise Line is hitting the high seas with several brand-new ships coming to the fleet soon! ©Disney The Disney Treasure is making its maiden voyage later this year, while the Disney Destiny will be ready to take people on vacation soon after. Now, Disney has announced the date of the maiden voyage of the new Disney Adventure. The ship will be setting sail from Singapore on December 15th, 2025, but that’s not all Disney announced about this new ship! Disney announced new attractions, new restaurants, new entertainment, and more coming to the new Disney Adventure cruise ship! Let’s check it all out. Marvel Landing On the upper decks, Marvel Landing will be the first Disney adventure zone at sea with new attractions! ©Disney There will be a brand-new, first-ever Disney Cruise Line roller coaster! On the Ironcycle Test Run, you can test drive Tony Stark’s Ironcycle prototype! The ride will suspend up to 30 feet above the upper deck of the ship and will be the longest roller coaster at sea. ©Disney On another ride, Pym Quantum Racers, you’ll drive a Pym Tech-modified mini-car around a full-scale toy set track! You’ll drive around oversized and undersized obstacles. ©Disney Then, head to Groot Galaxy Spin for some high-flying and bass-filled fun. ©Disney Last but not least, on Marvel Landing, you can enjoy the sundeck and infinity pool along with some refreshments at the pool bar. This pool area is inspired by Tony Stark’s house, so you know it’s going to be amazing! Entertainment New stage shows, signature events, and films, plus private karaoke rooms, game shows, and more, will be offered on the Disney Adventure! This means you’ll have three dining experiences on your vacation. Dinner will be available at the Navigator’s Club and Hollywood Spotlight Club. These restaurants will feature the “traditions and glamour of the golden age.” They’ll have entertainment and appearances by Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Daisy! ©Disney You’ll also be able to dine at Animator’s Palate, Animator’s Table, Enchanted Summer Restaurant, and Pixar Market Restaurant. Enchanted Summer Restaurant will include Tangled and Frozen themes in a “cozy village dining hall.” Animation, Pixar, and Disney films will be showcased at Animator’s Palate, Animator’s Table, and Pixar Market Restaurant. ©Disney Premium dining options on the Adventure will include Palo Trattoria and the brand-new Mike & Sulley’s — Flavors of Asia. Mike & Sulley’s — Flavors of Asia will feature “four distinct experiences,” including a full-service Japanese steakhouse, a teppanyaki room, a bar with Omakase-style dining, and outdoor dining where you can enjoy sushi and sashimi. ©Disney You can also stop by a few quick-service restaurants as well, including Gramma Tala’s Kitchen, Mowgli’s Eatery, Stitch’s ‘Ohana Grill, Cosmic Kebabs, and Palo Café. Bewitching Boba and Brews will offer bubble teas and other delicious drinks inspired by the sea witch, Ursula! ©Disney Family Fun There will be a street market called San Fransokyo Street, inspired by Big Hero 6, where you and your family will find lots of entertainment, including games, activities, shops, cinemas, and more. Plus, you’ll get to meet Baymax here! ©Disney Hiro Training Zone will be an “immersive training simulator built by boy genius Hiro Hamada.” It will have groups of four people running, dodging, and blocking your way through a high-tech gaming floor. If you’re more into relaxing than gaming, there will be the Wayfinder Bay, where you’ll find a pool area with the Voyager Bar, a wading pool, and live shows, including “Moana: Call of the Sea.” ©Disney Kid Zones There will be spaces for kids only, from six months old to 17 years old. The it’s a small world nursery, Disney’s Oceaneer Club, Edge, and Vibe will all be available for kids to play, explore, game, watch movies, and meet some of their favorite Disney characters. ADORBS-Alert! Introducing the newest and cutest cub at Disney’s Animal Kingdom! Here’s a behind-the-scenes “fur-st” look at baby boy Bakso and mom, Sohni, capturing the hearts of the animal care team which is over-the-moon about this latest bundle of stripes. Though this tiger may be tiny now, he represents a great contribution to a declining tiger population, with less than 600 Sumatran tigers left in the wild and managed care. Bakso also serves as a beacon of hope for the future of this critically endangered species and to all of those who care for these tigers. “Tigers are in steep decline in the wild, so it is very special to welcome a new baby here at Disney, the first in seven years. Tiger births are rare in managed care and take a lot of planning and coordinating by our animal care team and the Species Survival Plan,” said Dr. Natalie, one of the veterinarians and many animal care professionals who monitored Sohni throughout her three-month pregnancy. These big cats are considered an “umbrella species.” In technical terms, conservation efforts to preserve these tigers will extend to other species within their habitat providing cover to other key organisms and living things across the ecosystem. Essentially, by protecting tigers and their habitats, we protect the places where they belong, which is critical to many people around the world. This is why it’s essential that we continue our focused care. Disney has a long history of collaborating with renowned experts like the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) and the Species Survival Plan (SSP) to bolster endangered and threatened species populations in managed care. This birth is just one great example of Disney’s work with the AZA that has helped strengthen the critically endangered Sumatran tiger population and the genetics of the species worldwide. Dr. Natalie regards this birth as significant, well-planned and meticulously orchestrated. Using advanced technology, endocrinologists – also known as hormone experts – were able to monitor the health of Sohni’s pregnancy up until the birth, like that of 10-month-old Corra, an African elephant on Kilimanjaro Safaris. From frequent blood tests to weekly ultrasounds, skilled veterinarians like Dr. Natalie ensured that both Bakso and Sohni were happy and healthy. Best of all, Sohni’s keepers monitored her behavior and successfully trained her to voluntarily participate in her own care, a testament to the relationship our keepers develop with these incredible animals. While the health and wellbeing of the animals in our care is incredibly important to us, caring for their wild counterparts is key. The Disney Conservation Fund has provided support to 15 organizations working with communities to protect tigers and their habitats since 1995. This past April in celebration of Disneynature’s Tiger the fund also awarded a grant to Wildlife Conservation Society in support of their initiatives safeguarding the world’s most endangered tigers. Like all Sumatran tiger cubs, Bakso will need his mother’s care until he is around 18-24 months old. So the good news is that guests will be able to see baby grow alongside mom when they’re both ready to join Maharajah Jungle Trek in a few months. Disney World hotels come with a whole lot of perks. You get early access to the theme parks, some of the best dining on property, transportation directly to the parks, and depending on the hotel — late nights in the parks, too! Art of Animation But, there’s one perk you’ll find at Disney World hotels that Disney Adults keep refusing and we think we know why! Disney Adults love staying at Disney World hotels for plenty of reasons. You can find some seriously incredible theming, dining, entertainment, and more at Disney hotels and it’s easy to see why they’re loved by so many. But, there’s one perk that comes along with your stay at a Disney World hotel that lots of Disney Adults seem to be skipping these days — and we think we know why. Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa When Disney World hotels first opened back up after the pandemic-related closures, they did so with some amended practices to keep Cast Members and hotel guests safe. This included only providing housekeeping services every other day (or every 4th and 8th day for Disney Vacation Club members) or giving guests the option to decline housekeeping service entirely. Riviera Resort While housekeeping returned to “normal” in early 2023 with every-other-day service at Moderate and Value Resorts and daily service at Deluxe Resorts, it seems that many hotel guests are still choosing to decline housekeeping services during their stays. Coronado Springs Multiple Disney Adults we asked cited health and privacy as a big reason for declining housekeeping, with folks still feeling wary of others in their personal space in a post-COVID world. Environmental concerns were another common answer. More housekeeping services mean more trash, dirty laundry, and other things that can have an impact on the environment. Wilderness Lodge The option to decline housekeeping is no longer part of the online check-in process, but you can still speak with a Cast Member to let them know you don’t want housekeeping or place the “Room Occupied” sign on the outside of your hotel door. And, of course, if you need more housekeeping services than what is typically offered, you can always check at the front desk or contact housekeeping using the phone in your room. Disney just announced (another) NEW way to skip the lines at its four Florida parks. Spoiler alert: this new service isn’t cheap: prices will range from $129 to $449 (per person, plus tax) at launch. But we’re getting ahead of ourselves. Let’s back up for a moment. Grand Floridian Resort Disney just announced a new skip-the-line service called Lightning Lane Premier Pass. This new pass will allow you to use the express lane (officially known as the “Lightning Lane”) for a shorter wait at various attractions. There are a few key differences between the new Premier Pass and the existing Multi and Single Passes, along with a BIG new perk, so let’s break it down. OK, first, we need to discuss the two skip-the-line services currently available to anyone at Disney World. Lightning Lane Multi Pass is an optional paid service available through the My Disney Experience app. This service allows you to bypass standby lines and enter the Lightning Lane at select attractions in the parks. With Multi Pass, you pay a base price for multiple attractions. Lightning Lane Multi Pass allows you to make up to three Lightning Lane Multi Pass selections in a park BEFORE your visit. Additionally, you can choose from available times as you make your attraction selections and can continue to hold up to three Lighting Lane Multi Pass selections at a time. Lightning Lane Then there’s also a separate service called Lightning Lane Single Pass. Lightning Lane Single Pass is essentially a pay-per-ride service you can purchase to utilize the Lightning Lane for an individual, in-demand attraction. Seven Dwarfs Mine Train Lightning Lane Both of these services will vary in price depending on the date, but in general, the price ranges from about $20 per person per day to $35 per person per day. Disney just introduced a new service called Lightning Lane Premier Pass, which allows one-time entry to each Lightning Lane experience in a theme park. This skip-the-line pass can be used ANY time you want; no need to preschedule a reservation. Haunted Mansion Lightning Lane Sign Disney explained that Lightning Lane Premier Pass differs from Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass in three key ways: Added Flexibility: With Lightning Lane Premier Pass, you DO NOT have to choose arrival windows for Lightning Lane attractions and experiences. With the other two Lightning Lane services, you must choose an arrival window for each Lightning Lane attraction. Combines ALL Attractions (In a Single Park) Into One Pass: Lightning Lane Premier Pass gives you single-use entry to each available Lightning Lane attraction in one park. This means the Premier Pass combines Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass attractions. Photo Perks: With both Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Premier Pass, you get digital downloads of select attraction photos and videos, along with access to Disney PhotoPass Lenses. Lightning Lane When it launches on October 30th, 2024, Lightning Lane Premier Pass will ONLY be available in “very limited quantities” EXCLUSIVELY for those staying at Disney Deluxe Resorts, Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts, and other select hotels. That means Deluxe hotel guests have an exclusive new perk! Bungalows at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort Below is a full list of all the eligible resort hotels. You need proof of valid park admission before purchasing a Premier Pass. We’re still a few weeks away from Halloween, but it’s almost time for the holiday season to kick off in Disney World! EPCOT Festival of the Holidays And as part of the holiday season, the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays is returning! This festival is full of holiday cheer from around the world, with specialty eats, intriguing storytellers, exclusive entertainment, and more. Of course, one of the highlights of the festival is the nightly Candlelight Processionals…and Disney just dropped more information about this year’s performances! The Candlelight Processional is a nightly performance in the America Gardens Theater that features a chorus of Cast Members, an orchestra, and a celebrity narrator who tells the story of Jesus’ birth. For many, this is a must-do tradition when visiting EPCOT during the holidays. Candlelight Processional To watch the show, you can either wait in the standby queue (which can fill up FAST) or you can purchase a dining package that comes with reserved seating for one of the shows that evening. If you’re interested in one of those dining packages, we’ve got the 2024 details! Candlelight Processional Showtimes for the Candlelight Processional in 2024 have been adjusted to 5PM, 6:45PM, and 8:15PM. Reservations for Candlelight Processional dining packages open on October 29th (you’ll need to be in your 60-day dining booking window to book). As of now, we don’t have pricing but Disney did reveal the list of participating restaurants! The package will include options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Cinderella Castle The new Lightning Lane Premier Pass allows you to ride every Lightning Lane attraction in one day at one park — without having to make specific Lightning Lane reservations. That’s right — without having to use your phone all day! But just how much will the Lightning Lane Premier Pass cost? Well, it’s probably going to cost more than your park ticket. Lightning Lane Disney says the price for the Lightning Lane Premier Pass will range from $129 to $449. Just like Disney World tickets and the other Lightning Lane passes, the Lightning Lane Premier Pass will use dynamic pricing — prices will vary based on demand. Busier times of year — like holiday weekends — will see the high end of this price range. Lightning Lane That’s a per day, per person price. And yes, it’s a lot. The first day the Lightning Lane Premier Pass will be available is October 30th, and this pass can only be purchased if you are staying in a Disney Deluxe Resort, Deluxe Villa Resort, Shades of Green, or the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin. Swan & Dolphin Here’s one super important thing to know about the Lightning Lane Premier Pass — it is only good for one park. So, if you buy it for Magic Kingdom, you’ll be able to ride every ride that has a Lightning Lane in Magic Kingdom (and that includes the Lightning Lane Single Pass rides TRON Lightcycle/Run and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train), but you can’t then hop to Hollywood Studios and use your pass there.
