Last Sunday I once again found myself again at a runDisney finish line watching more than 15,000 thousand registered runners cross the finish line at the Tinker Bell Half Marathon at the Disneyland Resort. From shouts of joy and tears of happiness, to runners who made the journey look easy to those that appeared to dig deep within themselves to find the strength and courage to achieve their goal, it was truly an emotional inspiration for me and all the spectators who waited for hours to welcome runners home. More fun food at Downtown Disney West Side – House of Blues opened their new Smokehouse, a quick-service window where it’s easy to grab a generous smoked beef brisket sandwich, pulled pork or chicken sandwich, smoked turkey leg, St. Louis half-rack of ribs or an all-beef hot dog. That’s the menu, short and sweet. And the cole slaw has just the right amount of tang, the baked beans are sweet, the bread is soft and warm, and the meat is smoked right there in the House of Blues kitchen.   20. Jake Short stars as Fletcher Quimby in the Disney Channel Original Series “A.N.T. Farm,” but when he isn't in front of the camera he loves to play soccer! Short is a regional all-star player who had the opportunity to visit ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex this past weekend during Disney 3v3 Soccer Championships. Former professional soccer player and ESPN Analyst, Eddie Rodriguez, served as Short’s guest coach as he got a taste of what it’s like to play in the middle of the magic.
