For the past few weeks we have shared details of the new 2014 New Balance runDisney shoes. We revealed that Sorcerer Mickey and Pink Minnie will anchor the 2014 New Balance runDisney 860 V4 running shoe. There was a lot of excitement when we announced the same shoe will be available in kids sizes in 2014. I’m lucky. Because of my job, I’ve been fortunate enough to experience La Nouba by Cirque du Soleil a handful of times. I’m not sure how, but every time I see it, it feels new and fresh. A few months ago, I had a special opportunity to photograph Walt Disney’s apartment located above the Main Street Fire Station for the Disneyland archive. I know many guests have stood on Main Street, U.S.A., and looked up at the apartment window to see that the lamp has been left on in Walt’s memory. Today, in honor of Walt’s birthday, I’d like to share one of my favorite photos taken that day - showing the view as he would have seen it, looking out that very window. View the full article

Who’s ready for a Seven Dwarfs Mine Train update? Our friends at Walt Disney Imagineering recently reached another milestone in the construction of the attraction with the overnight addition of a few scenic elements guests will encounter at the top of the Mine Train’s first lift. When mine cars pull out of the load area, they’ll travel up the track to the top of the mountain, where a jib crane sits topped by two ominous vultures, the latter of which originally appeared in the park’s original Snow White’s Scary Adventures attraction.
