The Haunted Mansion will celebrate 45 years this August at Disneyland park. While I don’t remember much from my first ride at Walt Disney World in July 1983, I’ve grown to love this wickedly fun attraction in all its incarnations at Disney Parks. In 2013, Disney Theme Park Merchandise introduced nine incredibly detailed home goods based on The Haunted Mansion. In many ways, those items served as a catalyst for an entire new assortment of Haunted Mansion merchandise coming this fall to Disney Parks. We know you love Disney. So we at D23: The Official Disney Fan Club are bringing the magic of Disney to 11 cities (including at stop at Walt Disney World Resort!) across the country starting this August during out D23 Disney Fanniversary Celebration roadshow. The 100-minute shows—hosted by an archivist from the Walt Disney Archives and a D23 Team Member—feature rarely seen images, photography, video, and music that honor Disney milestones celebrating landmark anniversaries. One of our favorite stops for a bite at Disneyland park is Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe on Main Street, U.S.A. Here, there’s a little something for everyone, from a nearly endless array of sweets to savories like a hearty pastrami Reuben on rye or a grilled veggie and whole-grain salad. The Mary Poppins theme just makes us smile, and it’s the only spot you’ll find the Practically Perfect Punch and Cherry Tree Lane Lemonade – which may have you humming “Superfcalifragilisticexpialidocious!” View the full article
