  2. When you’re hungry, you’re hungry, and there should be nothing to stop you from getting the meal you want, but you might run into a problem if you don’t have reservations. Disney Springs Let us introduce you to our secret dining hack, which allows us to have our favorite meals without waiting for a table. Did you know that you can order take out at some of your favorite Disney World restaurants?! Now, we will preface this by saying, you can only do this at a few locations around Disney World. It is not widely available, at all. We love to do this at Disney Springs or restaurants at our resort since we’ve found they’re more accommodating when we ask. Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill For some places at Disney Springs, like Wolf Gang Puck Bar & Grill or Summer House on The Lake, there are phone numbers listed where you can call ahead and ask if takeout is available that day. They might even let you order ahead of time! You can also head straight to the host stand and ask if you can order to go. Summer House on the Lake Some table service restaurants also have quick service locations next door where you can order your favorites without having to wait for a table. One of our favorites is Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ Shine Bar, where you can get a Fried Chicken Sandwich and Shine Cake. Shine Bar Don’t let the lack of dining reservations stop you from enjoying your meal! With your takeout boxes, you can sit outside and admire the water or stay in your hotel room with the TV on. Enjoy your meal while looking onto the water! This hack is even better when you’re trying to coordinate meals with a large group. Sometimes, the idea of trying to find a restaurant that everyone in your party will enjoy and that will have a table big enough is stressful! With takeout, everyone can choose their own meal and meet back up to eat around Disney Springs or back at your hotel. At DFB, we share the best tips and tricks for eating at Disney. Keep following along so you’re an expert by your next trip. Heading to Disney Springs and looking for the best restaurants? Check out our favorites here! Have you tried getting takeout at Disney? 6. The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Red Flag warning for much of Central Florida, including Osceola and Orange counties — where Disney World is located. Magic Kingdom! The Red Flag warning will be in effect from 11 AM to 6 PM on Thursday, March 6th, 2025. Red Flag Warnings are issued when wind conditions are highly unfavorable for prescribed burns that may lead to wildfire growth. The National Weather Service has issued this warning for much of Central Florida, including Volusia, Lake, Seminole, Orange, Osceola, Brevard, Indian River, St. Lucie, Okeechobee, and Martin counties. Animal Kingdom West/northwest winds with speeds near 20 miles per hour have been reported with gusts around 30 miles per hour. The humidity is dropping to 25-35%, which increases the potential spread of fires. Additionally, fires could ignite easily and spread quickly. The National Weather Service advises avoiding open flames and sparks, keeping your vehicles off of dry grass, and properly discarding cigarettes. Disney’s Hollywood Studios If you are at Disney World during the Red Flag Warning, you likely won’t experience anything out of the ordinary, but there may be increased fire patrols around the resort, along with potential smoke if any fires form in the area. There will likely be restrictions on outdoor burning including at Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground as well. Stay updated with local weather alerts for the most updated information, in case of any potential fires in the area. 7. Let’s face it — not all Disney World hotels are created equal. Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort Disney World has three main hotel tiers — value, moderate, and deluxe — and each one has its own set of perks. Obviously, as the cost gets higher, the perks tend to get better…and that includes transportation! Recently Madeleine, an editor here at DFB, stayed at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort and discovered her new favorite hack for getting to the theme parks faster and we’re sharing it with you today! First things first, if you’re planning a Disney World vacation soon, we’ve got the ultimate hack for you! Not only can you get our insider tips delivered to your inbox above, but we highly recommend reaching out to our friends over at Small World Vacations! These travel agents can take ALL of the stress out of planning your next Disney trip and their services are totally free. Why not make your life easier?! Disney World hotels now cost a small fortune for many fans, but the three All-Star Resorts tend to be the cheapest. Each resort area (split between Movies, Music, and Sports themes) is neighboring the other and that definitely came in handy on Madeleine’s trip! Disney bus for All-Star Music and Movies First of all, just look at how close the All-Stars are to each other. That makes it handy to visit the others, but that also means they share bus transportation. Map of all three All-Star Resorts Madeleine stayed in a room in the Mighty Ducks section of All-Star Movies. That’s the northernmost part of that hotel…and awfully far from the bus station. But, guess how CLOSE those rooms are to the All-Star Music bus station?! Hold up, we’ll zoom in. All-Star Movies map Although it’s not on a traditional Disney path, all it takes is a quick walk through the parking lot. After all, they share a bus anyway, so might as well take the most convenient path! Of course, be careful of cars driving like you would in any other parking lot, but we found this to be way easier and save us a lot of time on our trip. It’s that easy! The All-Star Resorts aren’t the only Disney World hotels that are spread out and require a decent walk to reach your room! Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort and Disney’s Port Orleans — Riverside are both notorious for this. The difference is these resorts have multiple bus stops at that one hotel. No matter which hotel you choose, we highly recommend checking the closest bus stop to your room as soon as you check in and get settled. It might be a different one than you think! Our favorite way to do this is through the My Disney Experience app. Bus stop Disney World already requires you to walk SO many steps each day through the parks, so don’t walk any more than you have to! We want to hear from you if you’ve ever “cheated” the system like this before! In the meantime, keep following DFB for more Disney World tips! 8 Disney World Hotels That Will ALWAYS Crack Down on the Parking Rules Join the DFB Newsletter to get all the breaking news right in your inbox! 10. March 6 🤝 Mark VI #Monorail = HAPPY NATIONAL MONORAIL DAY! 🎉🚄 🎉 #WaltDisneyWorld #DisneyParksView the full article
  11. The monorail is one of the most iconic modes of free transportation at Walt Disney World Resort, and it deserves a day to celebrate. Disney uses a fleet of monorail trains known as the Mark VI model, which means today, March 6, is the perfect day to do just that. To help celebrate, here are the stories of a few of the Disney cast members that make the trains go ‘round. Loving What He Does Bobb Handt is a Monorail Central Controller who knows the system like the back of his hand. He’s been working at Disney for 47 years — 35 of those spent at the monorail. Originally, Bobb was going to retire after 45 years, but he loves what he does too much to stop. His favorite part of the role? Meeting new people. He loves talking with Guests who are traveling to their next destination and showing curious children how the monorail works. “I enjoy working here,” Bobb said. “I always tell Guests if it’s your first time at Magic Kingdom, take the monorail or the boat. One over and one back. Encounter both. That way you find what you like best.” Over his tenured career at Disney, Bobb has always felt the support from his fellow cast members and leaders — one of the reasons he enjoys working at Disney so much. Teamwork is a huge part of Disney Transportation. While Bobb’s team helps the system operate on a day-to-day basis, they partner with the maintenance team regularly for upkeep. Family Tradition Carlos Yepes is one of the many talented cast members on the transportation maintenance team. He’s a mechanic at the Monorail Shop. After 28 years at the shop, he still remembers the day he walked into the building for the first time in awe. Before coming to Disney in 1997, Carlos had worked in bus maintenance, but getting a call to interview for a monorail maintenance position at Disney World changed everything. He was so enamored by the work he was doing that his family began to wonder what the hype was about. That’s when Andres Yepes, Carlos’ son, decided to see for himself. Following in the footsteps of his father, he’s been working at the Monorail Shop for 19 years now. “One of the best parts is when I come with my family and grandkids,” Carlos said with a smile. “Everybody on the same car and having fun all day.” Getting to see the wonderous faces of his nine grandkids as they monorail hop between the parks, resorts, and restaurants and getting to answer all their questions makes him feel like the coolest grandad on earth. Now, Carlos’ nine-year-old grandson wants to work on the monorail one day, too. He even made himself a Monorail Shop hat so he could be just like his grandfather and dad. The monorail creates memories for thousands of passengers every single day. For some, the monorail is their favorite attraction. Thank you to the thousands of Transportation cast members who continue to move the magic along — whether aboard the highway in the sky or by land and sea. Oh, and always remember… ¡Por favor manténgase alejado de las puertas! The post Celebrating Monorail Day at Walt Disney World appeared first on Disney Experiences. View the full article
  12. Not only does the Disney Treasure celebrate the spirit of adventure on the high seas, but it also offers multiple ways for guests to unwind as they’re creating magical memories that will last a lifetime. In fact, from sun-up to well past sundown, adults are invited to enjoy exclusive locations and experiences aboard the new ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet. Sister ship to the Disney Wish (2022) and the Disney Destiny (2025), the Disney Treasure embarked on its maiden voyage in December 2024, kicking off an inaugural season of seven-night itineraries to the Eastern and Western Caribbean from Port Canaveral, Florida. Amid a plethora of entertainment offerings — including character encounters, Broadway-style shows, and fun-filled water coasters and pool areas — the Disney Treasure features imaginative restaurants, spacious staterooms and suites, elevated adult escapes, and more. “The Disney Treasure is focused on the amazing stories that Disney has told throughout the decades — specifically on the adventure aspect,” Disney Imagineer Jason Roberts said during a preview sailing. “When you think about Disney’s animated films, they all have a bit of adventure to them, no matter what the story is. We’re telling those stories from the moment you board the ship and enter the Grand Hall. You see the magic carpet and the statue of Aladdin and Jasmine. It sets the scene for everything guests are going to explore.” Aboard the Disney Treasure, guests will look out to the sea in a stateroom decorated with artwork and touches celebrating the iconic elements of Disney movies.Spacious Staterooms and Suites Built with families in mind, the lavish accommodations and amenities aboard the Disney Treasure blend modern design with nostalgic charm. Each stateroom has a fresh, natural color scheme and custom artwork, which invites guests to travel and sail the seas in style. Before their sailings, guests can choose from four main room categories — Inside, Oceanview, Verandah, and Concierge — offered in a range of types and deck locations. Concierge guests also receive access to special services, benefits, and exclusive spaces. “Forty percent of our staterooms onboard have a connecting door to the adjacent stateroom, so extended family and friends can remain together,” Shelley Gold-Witiak, Director, Hotel Operations, Disney Cruise Line, said. “You really do have a lot of leverage.” The upscale designs in the Disney Treasure include the Bagheera Royal Suites, honoring the noble panther from The Jungle Book and the lush forests he calls home. The Disney Treasure includes several Royal Suites with interiors inspired by Walt Disney Animation Studios classics such as Aladdin and The Jungle Book, while Pixar Animation Studios’ Finding Nemo-themed staterooms at the front of the ship feature forward-facing views. With its own private elevator and glimpses to the open horizon through an expansive two-story window, the Tomorrow Tower Suite truly embraces the adventures of tomorrow. Additionally, the two-story Concierge Tomorrow Tower Suite is the pinnacle of luxury, perched high in the ship’s forward funnel above the upper decks. This one-of-a-kind penthouse at sea evokes the same spirit that inspired EPCOT at Walt Disney World Resort, with its avant-garde design, custom artwork, molten metals details, and colorful stained glass chandelier. “Disney Cruise Line and The Walt Disney Company are always looking for futuristic opportunities,” Gold-Witiak said, “and this suite embodies everything about that.” Set high in the Disney Treasure‘s forward funnel, the Tomorrow Tower Suite is a one-of-a-kind suite that overlooks the ship’s top deck and glimpses the unbounded open horizon through an expansive two-story window. With nearly 2,000 square feet of living space, the Tomorrow Tower Suite can comfortably sleep up to eight guests. It includes a private elevator, two main bedrooms, four and a half bathrooms, a two-story living area, a spiral staircase, a library that can serve as an additional bedroom, an open dining salon, a pantry and wet bar, and two walk-in closets. The Tomorrow Tower Suite captures the same forward-thinking mindset that inspired Walt Disney World Resort’s theme park, EPCOT. One of Gold-Witiak’s favorite details is found in the children’s bedroom, where “there is a sparkling night sky actually built into the ceiling.” But her “absolute favorite” element is the custom chandelier in the living area. “It’s one-of-a-kind,” Gold-Witiak explained. “When all of the sunlight comes through the window, it hits these iridescent glass panels and it becomes a kaleidoscope of colors that literally swirl around the room. It’s simply stunning.” Guests dive into the mythical depths of uncharted oceans at the Periscope Pub — Disney Cruise Line’s first venue inspired by the spellbinding adventure of Walt Disney’s 1954 film 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea and the legacy Disney Parks attraction.Elevated Adult Escapes The ship features adult-exclusive escapes inspired by beloved attractions and films, from 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea and The Aristocats to Haunted Mansion and Jungle Cruise. Periscope Pub is Disney Cruise Line’s first venue inspired by the film 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea and the Disney Parks attraction 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea: Submarine Voyage. Look through a “glass” ceiling to see the sea (and maybe even a sea monster) or watch news and live sports displayed on “scientific” monitors. Enjoy a menu of craft brews, including three exclusive tap beers — Flappin’ Fish Gose, Tangled Tentacle Ale, and Submariner’s Stout — and cocktails such as The Narwhal, Outis Daiquiri, and The Diver. The menu includes shareable light bites, such as the Periscope Pub Platter. At the Periscope Pub, the submarine-styled interiors give guests a look at the watery world below through an intriguing glass ceiling. “The spirit of adventure is really captured within this space,” Disney Imagineer Alexis Cummins said. “From the minute that you walk through the portal at the main entrance, you’re going to feel like you’re on a submarine. That spirit of adventure really transcends all of the different venues on the Disney Treasure, but it’s especially apparent in this space.” Periscope Pub features a treasure trove of nautical details such as gauges, patches, and rivets, in addition to an illuminated curvilinear ceiling that reveals creatures of the deep. “It really plays into that submarine feeling,” Cummins said. “It all sings together to create an immersive environment. One of the most prominent features in this space is our depth and pressure gauge, which is behind the back bar. Each of the numbers you see ties back to a hull number on our Disney Cruise Line fleet, with 718 being the Disney Treasure‘s number.” Scat Cat Lounge combines the elegance of an old-school jazz club with artistic references to The Aristocats. Ev’rybody wants to be a cat at the Scat Cat Lounge, an adults-only piano bar inspired by Disney Animation’s The Aristocats. While enjoying adult beverages such as the Crème de la Crème Martini or The Turkish Tea Experience, guests can sit back, relax, and admire the details at the vintage jazz club — like the paw prints that adorn the piano, a nod to the playful scene in which Toulouse mischievously “decorates” it with his paint-covered paws. Scat Cat Lounge brings the groovy penthouse performance of “Ev’rybody Wants to Be a Cat” into the real world for the first time aboard the Disney Treasure. “We took a lot of inspiration directly from the film,” Disney Imagineer Alyssa Markfort said while offering a tour of the Scat Cat Lounge. “For example, the pattern of the carpet uses the same designs you see onscreen. We took it a step further and said, ‘Pile them together into one pattern.’ It was super fun to work with Walt Disney Animation Studios to get those patterns just right. We also took direct reference from the film with the cat paw prints on the piano. We really studied the pattern the cats made to ensure it was precise. We also have artwork on the wall that was used as inspiration when they were developing the film.” The Haunted Mansion Parlor honors more than five decades of fandom and introduces the world to the next chapter of the Haunted Mansion saga. The Haunted Mansion Parlor serves up spirited craft cocktails in a frightful lounge that draws inspiration from the original Haunted Mansion attraction — with a nautical twist. The happy haunt at sea is chockful of eerie experiences and design elements, including portraits that shift to reveal secrets of the jovial sea captain and his strange but alluring fiancée; an aquarium with ghostly fish; and other frightfully fun details to be discovered. “We wanted to bring all your favorite Haunted Mansion characters — like the Mummy, the Hitchhiking Ghosts, and the Hat Box Ghost — into the Haunted Mansion Parlor,” Disney Imagineer Danny Handke said. “But we also wanted to bring in these new, nautical characters that have their own stories and their own lore. There’s a whole story about the captain and his bride that we’re telling throughout the space, which guests get to discover.” There are countless frights and delights throughout the Haunted Mansion Parlor, but the aquarium with ghostly fish is something that was intended for the original 1969 attraction. Only now — thanks to advances in technology — could it come to “life” aboard the ship. At Skipper Society, guests can indulge in themed cocktails and light snacks in an elevated, yet playful atmosphere. Skipper Society — inspired by the iconic Jungle Cruise attraction — honors the skippers who turn each voyage at Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort, and Tokyo Disneyland into a hilarious adventure. Guests will find references to the attraction throughout the space, from parrot-shaped chandeliers to postcards from all over the world — not to mention the hibiscus above and the low-biscus below. With natural colors, camp-style furnishings, and live entertainment, the lounge has an elevated, playful atmosphere. “We wanted to pay homage to the attraction, but also create a new space,” Disney Imagineer Megan Moore said. “We have our Skipper Society rules posted behind the bar, so you can get the vibe of what this is. This is a place where skippers come to unwind; this is their club. We wanted to make sure it felt like it’s a unique space and not a recreation of the attraction. In fact, it’s almost like you’re stepping off the attraction and into this space.” Surrounded by playful pink interiors, Victorian-style architecture, and an endearing sculpture of Officer Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde, guests are served humor and heart by the cone full — along with a selection of more than 20 flavors of handmade gelato, 16 flavors of ice cream and sorbets, specialty treats, candies, and more — at Jumbeaux’s Sweets.Imaginative Dining Experiences Guests can visit a delightful, oversized dessert shop inspired by Disney Animation’s Zootopia at Jumbeaux’s Sweets. Its fanciful décor includes colorful patterns, bubblegum-pink wallpaper, and vintage light fixtures — not to mention sculpted figures of Officers Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde sharing a sundae. With input from Jerry Jumbeaux Jr., the parlor’s elephant owner, there is a wide selection of handmade gelato and ice cream, as well as specialty treats, candies, and more. Sweet treats include Judy Hopps Carrot Cupcake, Paw Shortbread Sandwich, Mango Leopard Cakesicle, and Zootopia Chocolate Bark Post Cards. Aboard the Disney Treasure, Jumbeaux’s Sweets is reminiscent of the popular ice cream parlor, Jumbeaux Café, from the bustling mammal metropolis featured in Disney’s Zootopia. “The most exciting thing about getting to work on a project like this is creating a fully immersive environment, and that’s exactly what we’ve done here at Jumbeaux’s Sweets,” Disney Imagineer Jason Abruzzese said during a media preview sailing. “It was really fun to work with our partners at Walt Disney Animation Studios, because they gave us a roadmap for how to pull this off — to make it as authentic as possible. Jumbeaux’s Sweets is pulled right from the film, but business in Zootopia is doing really well, so it’s expanding. Jumbeaux brought one of his shops to the Disney Treasure, so now we get to share it with our guests.” The Disney Treasure includes one of Disney Cruise Line’s beloved restaurant concepts, 1923, named for The Walt Disney Company’s founding year. Named for the year The Walt Disney Company was founded, the restaurant 1923 celebrates the golden age of animation. Inspired by the fusion of cultural flavors found throughout California, it offers a diverse menu that showcases the region’s unique blend of Asian, European, and South American influences. With two lavishly appointed dining rooms — aptly named after the brothers who started it all, Walt and Roy — 1923 offers a stunning look at the evolution of Disney animation, featuring over 1,000 drawings, props, and more. Families can find everything they need for a day of fun at Dory’s Forget-Me-Knots aboard the Disney Treasure.… and So Much More From fantastic food at Palo Steakhouse and Enchanté to sensational styling at Hook’s Barbery and Untangled Salon, there’s so much more to explore aboard the Disney Treasure. For example, guests can bask in the tranquility of the nature-inspired Senses Spa, or they can work up a sweat at the top-of-the-line Senses Fitness facility. For guests who want to bring magic home, shops such as 3 Wishes, Dory’s Forget-Me-Knots, Treasures Untold, and Mickey’s Mainsail offer a trove of products, spanning apparel to collectibles. When guests sail aboard the Disney Treasure, they get to choose their own adventure — just as Walt Disney himself so often did. According to Roberts, that’s why the ship was inspired by “Walt’s love of travel and exploring new, unknown, mysterious, and romantic places.” To learn more about Disney Cruise Line or to book a vacation, guests can visit disneycruise.com, call Disney Cruise Line at 888-325-2500, or contact their travel agent. 14. Picking and choosing what to try at the 2025 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is a tough task — but we’ve got you covered! 2025 EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival — Moana Entrance Topiary We tried every booth at this year’s festival, and, of course, we have our favorites! So sit back, relax, and check out our picks for the Best of the Fest at this year’s Flower & Garden Festival at EPCOT! We’ll be going over our favorite eats and drinks, covering which items are new and which ones are returning. If you’re looking for our input and want to spend your money wisely, read ahead to see what we thought! New Bests Provence Poutine at Refreshment Port Lavender on French fries? What was Disney thinking? Well, whatever they were thinking, this was a stroke of genius that resulted in a lovely poutine, unlike any poutine we’ve had here before. Provence Poutine There’s this combination of flavors that just gets pulled together by the cheese and it just works. Grab it for $9. Read our full review of Refreshment Port Trio of Dips and Chips at Yacht Grub Speaking of unique, one of the dips with this dips and chips combo has CAVIAR on it. Yes, CAVIAR. Now we loved the chips themselves — they were house-made and crispy, like a good chip should be. Trio of Dips and Chips But the dips sold us on this. The pimento cheese dip is yummy, and the whipped feta dip is creamy and flavorful. But it’s that caramelized onion dip with the caviar that won us over with its strips of onion. YUM! Read our full review of Yacht Grub Florida Strawberry Shortcake at Florida Fresh Who knew something as simple as Strawberrry Shortcake could be so wonderful? This vanilla pound cake with macerated strawberries, strawberry sauce, and whipped cream is strawberry shortcake perfection. You’ve got a buttery pound cake, whipped cream that is NOT store-bought, and fresh strawberries. Florida Strawberry Shortcake This wowed us so much that we plan on returning for more later! Read our full review of Florida Fresh Strawberry Nigori Sake at Hanami This was a delicious drink, as well as an elevated addition to the festival. It’s so well-balanced, delicate, and refreshing. The flavors combine beautifully, and it was hard to put down (okay, we didn’t put it down — we drank IT ALL). Strawberry Nigori Sake We’re not the only ones who loved this drink, though — we overheard a LOT of folks talking about it. Read our full review of Hanami Taco de Camarón at Jardin de Fiestas The Taco de Camarón with crispy tempura-battered shrimp in a flour tortilla with dried hibiscus flowers and chipotle aïoli was also a big winner with us. Yes, Mexico has done it again. We think it’s because the chipotle aïoli just kinda ties everything together, but whatever this taco’s secret is, it’s working. Taco de Camarón: Crispy tempura-battered shrimp in a flour tortilla with dried hibiscus flowers and chipotle aïoli It’s so flavorful and it just HIT for us. Read our full review of Jardin de Fiestas Returning Bests Honey-glazed Cauliflower at Honey Bee-Stro We’ve loved this dish in the past, and we STILL love it. It’s colorful, it photographs well, and most importantly, it’s delicious. This just combines all kinds of wonderful flavors, and we’ll keep coming back to this booth to get it again and again. Honey-glazed Cauliflower We also like that it’s a light dish, so it doesn’t make our stomach feel heavy (especially when we’re eating all these other festival foods). Read our full review of Honey Bee-Stro Toasted Pretzel Bread at Bauernmarkt: Farmer’s Market This is another old favorite that’s returned this year. What’s not to love about toasted pretzel bread topped with black forest ham and melted cheese? All the flavors just complement each other so well, plus the cheese is so OOEY and GOOEY — and you know we’re all about that cheese life. Toasted Pretzel Bread topped with black forest ham and melted cheese The bread also has that hard pretzel exterior, but inside, it’s soft and wonderful. Read our full review of Bauernmarkt: Farmer’s Market Frozen Dessert Violet Lemonade at Pineapple Promenade This is a returning drink, and it is still JUST as good as it’s been in the past. It’s got that perfect slushy texture with a nice sourness complemented by sweetness. If you love frozen lemonade, it’s a must-try. Frozen Desert Violet Lemonade We also love that the flowers are grown in The Land Pavilion in EPCOT — and they’re edible, so EAT the flowers, too. It’s all part of the experience of the drink. Liquid Nitro Honey-Mascarpone Cheesecake at Swirled Showcase This is another returning dessert that we’re just NUTS about. It’s served with fresh honey, granulated honey, and honey mead-blueberry compote. It has all these different wonderful textures and flavors, and yes, it’s going to be a favorite year after year. Liquid Nitro Honey-Mascarpone Cheesecake with fresh honey, granulated honey, and honey mead-blueberry compote The liquid nitrogen just makes it that much more special. What can we say? We love it when science and food combine to create something delicious. Read our full review of Swirled Showcase Best Plant-Based Dishes of the Fest Jamaican Beef Patty at Refreshment Outpost The Jamaican Beef Patty featuring IMPOSSIBLE Beef with spicy papaya syrup is at the top of our best plant-based dish. First, this baby was STUFFED with a delicious filling. But we’ll warn you — it packs some heat! This isn’t just Disney spicy, but authentically spicy, so be warned. Jamaican Beef Patty featuring IMPOSSIBLE Beef with spicy papaya syrup However, that heat, with the seasonings and flavors, makes for one VERY tasty snack. Read our full review of Refreshment Outpost Farmhouse Meatball at Trowel & Trellis We were surprised by the Farmhouse Meatball at Trowel & Trellis, which is served with Lentil Bread, Spinach, Marinated Vegetables, and creamy herb aïoli. That meatball just by itself would’ve made us happy, but the creamy herb aioli also took it up a notch. Farmhouse Meatball We weren’t in love with the lentil bread, but with all the other things going on with this dish, we didn’t mind one bit that the bread wasn’t a standout. Read our full review of Trowel & Trellis Best Booth of the FEST Beach Grub Beach Grub is a brand-new booth this year, and let’s just say it really wowed us. Enough to be our FAVORITE booth of the EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival. Everything here is a win. The Seafood Bake is full of seafood that’s just cooked perfectly. The Grilled Street Corn on the Cob was our favorite thing at the booth. The S’Mores Bar was done so beautifully and somehow managed to be a light dessert, although the snack itself was too physically heavy for the stick it came on. Full Spread at Beach Grub This is one booth we hope returns year after year for future festivals. Well done, Disney! Read our full review of Beach Grub Best of the Fest for Kids We get it — kids may not totally agree with our adult tastebuds. With that in mind, we picked out some items kids are sure to love! Fruit Cereal Shake at BRUNCHCOT Of course, a kid is going to love a milkshake with one of their favorite cereals in it! This shake literally tastes like slurping up Fruit Loops cereal milk if it were converted into shake form. Fruit Cereal Shake The kids will love it, but you know what? We loved it, too. Read our full BRUNCHCOT review Fried Cinnamon Roll Bites at BRUNCHOT Yes, BRUNCHCOT is the booth you want to visit if you’ve got kids. Another kid-pleasing offering here are the Fried Cinnamon Rolls with cream cheese frosting and candied bacon. It’s sweet and salty and a real winner. Fried Cinnamon Roll Bites We’d call this one a people-pleaser, overall, too. But kids will love it. Read our full BRUNCHCOT review Honey Bee-stro’s Honey-Peach Cobbler Freeze at Honey Bee-Stro Another kid-friendly drink is the Honey Peach Cobbler Freeze with streusel. It’s sweet and fruity, and the streusel on top adds a nice texture. Honey-Peach Cobbler Freeze with Streusel This could be one of our favorite non-alcoholic drinks at the festival, too. Read our full review of Honey Bee-Stro And there you have it! We tried so many items this year, and we’d do it again in a heartbeat! 15. We’re PUMPED for this year’s ECPOT International Flower & Garden Festival and we’re bringing you all the latest coverage! 2025 EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival Passport The festival offers plenty of fantastic eats, beverages, and experiences — including one especially meant for Disney foodies! We’re of course talking about EPCOT’s Garden Graze, which is back again in 2025! We participated in this food stroll this year and we’re dishing on all the details! Not dissimilar to the Cookie Stroll at the Festival of the Holidays, the Garden Graze is a plant-based food stroll through the Flower & Garden Festival. Pineapple Promenade Participants will get a Festival Passport that can be stamped at each location where they purchase a Garden Graze item, resulting in a prize at the end! 2025 EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival Passport This year, the Garden Graze includes the following items: The Citrus Blossom: Lumpia with plant-based pork, green papaya salad, and yuzu sweet-and-sour (Plant-based) The Citrus Blossom: Lemon Tart with lemon curd, blood orange fluid gel, aquafaba meringues, and raspberry powder (Plant-based) Beach Grub: Grilled Street Corn on the Cob with savory garlic spread and “cheese” (Plant-based) Trowel & Trellis: Farmhouse Meatball featuring IMPOSSIBLE Beef with Lentil Bread, Spinach, Marinated Vegetables, and creamy herb aïoli (Plant-based) BRUNCHCOT: Avocado Toast with marinated tomatoes and plant-based cheese crumbles on toasted ciabatta (Plant-based) BRUNCHCOT: Biscuit and Gravy featuring IMPOSSIBLE Sausage with pepper jelly (Plant-based) Refreshment Outpost: Jamaican Beef Patty featuring IMPOSSIBLE Beef with spicy papaya syrup (Plant-based) Refreshment Outpost: Seasonal Fruit Parfait with sweet chili sauce and DOLE Whip Mango (Plant-based) Bauernmarkt: Farmer’s Market: Potato Pancakes with house-made applesauce (Plant-based) La Isla Fresca: Coconut-Chocolate Flancocho: Chocolate Cake, Coconut Custard, and Passion Fruit Caramel (Plant-based) (New) You can choose any five to complete the crawl. Let’s get some stamps! Once you complete the stroll, you can simply visit Pineapple Promenade for your prize! The special prize! You’ll get a sixth completer stamp and then your final prize! Completer prize! Once you have five stamps, you get the finisher treat, which is a DOLE Whip Pineapple and Plant-based Vanilla Soft-Serve Swirl and a Wildflower Seed Packet. We always love a classic Pineapple DOLE Whip, and we love that it had plant-based vanilla to tie into the Garden Graze, which was entirely vegan! In a traditional DOLE Whip, the vanilla is not plant-based, but we didn’t think that affected any flavor, just that it melted a little faster. It reminded us of a pineapple creamsicle! Yum! While we love this plant-based option, we wish it was available without completing the Garden Graze. You can’t get the vegan vanilla soft serve or the whole DOLE Whip without completing all five meals of the Graze. Seeds to take home! We love that they include wildflower packets with them, so you can bring a bit of EPCOT home with you! Planning to visit the Flower and Garden Festival this year? 18. If you know what we mean when we say FRUSHI, then you’re already a fan of this booth at the 2025 EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival! 2025 booth We’re of course talking about Hanami, a classic and fan-favorite booth at the Festival. It’s time to find out if this year’s menu is worth a stop on your springtime culinary trip around EPCOT! Let’s go! Menu Over at the Hanami, you’ll find a solid lineup of returning items and a slew of new drinks! 2025 Hanami Menu Now that we’ve taken a look at the menu, let’s dive into the food itself! ©Disney Eats First up, let’s dig into some noodles with the Ramen Cup for $8.50. Ramen Cup This item made its debut last year and was not the ramen you ate in college! It was a Ramen salad shaken in a cup with fresh vegetables, grilled chicken, and dashi broth with chili oil and yuzu. We LOVED it last year and are excited to see what it’s like now! Ramen Cup Unfortantly, this year, we were let down. The broth this year was not flavorful, and the noodles were a bit overcooked. It felt like nothing really worked. The chicken reminded us of chicken that you would buy in a bag that is already pre-cooked. It just tasted kind of fake and chewy. Ramen Cup Next up, another returning dish! Yep, we’re grabbing the Frushi for $6.50. Frushi: Strawberry, pineapple, and honeydew wrapped in coconut rice and tri-color soy wrap served with coconut cream sauce and toasted coconut This “fruit sushi” is made with Strawberry, Pineapple, and Cantaloupe wrapped in Sweet Rice and Pink Soy Wrap served with Whipped Cream, Drizzled Berry Sauce, and Toasted Coconut. This is a super popular festival item and a favorite for the kiddos and folks who just love the simple joy of fruit. We are happy to report that unlike the ramen, the Frushi was amazing! It is so flavorful, creative, and tasty. You can really taste all the fruits, and the pineapple was so juicy and fresh. This was by far our favorite item from this booth! Frushi Are you ready for something new? This next item is NEW and is definitely coloring outside the lines, but we’re HERE for it! Let’s dive into the Takoyaki for $7.75. Takoyaki: Octopus tako balls served with spicy mayo, okonomiyaki sauce, and crunch rice pearls Curious about what Takoyaki is? Well, it is Octopus tako balls served with spicy mayo, okonomiyaki sauce, and crunch rice pearls. Wow, but now for the real question: How does it taste?! When we got ours, it was sitting out for a bit, so we felt like we missed out on the whole experience. It was a bit weird, but it was nice and fresh and had a bit of crispiness. It was warm on the inside, and the flavors tasted different from the Takoyaki that we have had in the past. We would not recommend this to someone who is sensitive to textures because it is very chewy. We liked the spicy mayo and sweet sauce as they gave it a nice, savory, and sweet moment. Overall, it was good. Takoyaki: Octopus tako balls Returning this year is the Steam Bun that was new last year, but is back for 2025. It’s filled with vegetables and plant-based soy meat and is priced at $8.50. Cross section The Steam Bun is filled with veggies and plant-based soy meat, but it isn’t listed on the Garden Graze list in Festival Passport, so this dish may not be 100% plant-based. Drinks Hanami is bringing it in terms of drinks on the menu. There are THREE new beverages to try this year and we can’t wait to sip and review each of them! First up, we got Kyoto Boba for $6.75. This is a non-alcoholic beverage described as crafted kyoho (Japanese black grape) juice with strawberry popping boba. Is it wrong that we hope that this drink tastes like combining both the strawberry and grape-flavored Nerds in a giant, sugary mouthful? Well, let’s find out! Kyoto Boba This drink was good and had a light fruitiness, but it was nothing spectacular. The boba was nice—like your typical popping boba — and it added a lot of flavor. While we hoped this drink would be an aesthetic one, you can’t really tell that there is boba since the color of the drink is the same color as the boba. Kyoto Boba Now, on to some cocktails! So, let’s check out the Shogun Sangria for $7.75. This one has us scratching our heads. When we think of Sangria, we tend to think of Italy and Spain — not Japan. But we’re all for inclusivity here at DFB, and if the Japanese want to get in on the Sangria action, we support them! This is a Sake cocktail with a combination of citrus and white cranberry juice. Is it truly a “sangria”? Or is it just fruity sake? Let’s find out! Shogun Sangria The sangria was very good. It had a nice sparkliness to it, along with a nice bright flavor. It was really refreshing. Sangria in Japan?! If you’re not feeling the sangria, you can get the straight-up sake choice, the Strawberry Nigori Sake, for $9.75. This is Nigori cloudy sake with strawberry spring notes. Strawberry Nigori Sake This was SO GOOD. Usually, when we go around trying all the booths on the first day of a festival, we struggle to finish our drinks, but it was so good. And we were not alone, as so many people were talking about it. It was not too heavy, but it had a strong alcoholic taste—that is just the way sake is made. It was delicious and refreshing. We can’t rave about it enough, so we had to add it to our Best of the Fest list! Strawberry Nigori Sake OVERALL Overall, the food at this booth fell a bit short for us this year. We were really looking forward to the Ramen Cup but were let down. On the bright side, we would return for the Frushi, and we think it is a fun way for those who may not like traditional sushi to eat a sweeter and fruity kind of sushi! The real stars here are the drinks, especially the Strawberry Nigori Sake. We will 100% be returning to grab a cocktail here, as they were really refreshing. 19. If you’re in the mood for some soft-serve ice cream and other sweet treats at the EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival, head over to Swirled Showcase! This booth has quickly become a festival fixture since its debut during the 2023 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival. Swirled Showcase! The 2025 EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival has officially begun and it has a LOT to offer. There are plenty of food booths with tasty items, unique topiaries to check out, merchandise to grab (of course), and even concerts to watch. But don’t let it overwhelm you, we’ve got you covered with everything you need to know. And now we’re heading to Swirled Showcase to give you the FULL scoop (get it…it’s ice cream..full scoop. HA!) Is it worth a try? Let’s find out! Menu This year, Swirled Showcase is serving up some returning soft-serve flavors in addition to a few new menu items. Returning are three soft serve flavors — vanilla, peanut butter, and grape jelly. NEW for 2025 is a Lemon Sorbet, a new beer, and a Lemon-Elderflower Float made with lemon sorbet and Central 28 Beer Company Elderflower Pale Ale. Also returning is the Liquid Nitro Honey-Mascarpone Cheesecake. 2025 Menu Now that we’ve taken a look at the menu, let’s dive into the food itself! Eats First up, we grabbed the new Lemon Sorbet for $6.50. Lemon Sorbet This Lemon Sorbet was a perfect addition to the Swirled Showcase! The Flower and Garden Festival is all about bright and fresh, and this sorbet was just that. It’s simple but exactly what we needed! Yum! The three soft-serve flavors are returning this year. When we tried several flavors out last year, we really enjoyed the Peanut Butter soft serve! All ice creams are available for $6.50. Peanut Butter Soft-serve If you’re a fan of PB&J, we recommend a swirl of Peanut Butter and Grape Jelly! On its own, we enjoyed the Grape Jelly soft serve last year, too. Grape Jelly Soft-serve And if you’re a Vanilla soft-serve fan, that’s also on the menu this year! You can’t go wrong with vanilla, right? Vanilla Soft-serve in a Waffle Cone Also returning to the menu this year is the Liquid Nitro Honey-Mascarpone Cheesecake made with fresh honey, granulated honey, and honey mead-blueberry compote for $5.50. This dish was a favorite of ours last year. Liquid Nitro Honey-Mascarpone Cheesecake Once again, this was one of our favorites! We love all the different textures, and if you aren’t a big fan of traditional cheesecake textures, you might want to give this one a try. On the other hand, if you’re a firm believer that a cheesecake should be a certain way, you might want to pass. From the drizzled and granulated honey and the blueberry compote, this is going to be on our favorites list again. Liquid Nitro Honey Mascarpone Cheesecake There’s something about that Liquid Nitrogen that really makes this feel EXTRA special. Those Disney food scientists did something pretty cool here, and we’ll keep recommending this to everyone we know. Drinks Two new drinks debut at Swirled Showcase this year. First up is the Lemon-Elderflower Float made with lemon sorbet and Central 28 Beer Company Elderflower Pale Ale for $12.50. Lemon Elderflower Float We were shocked at how much we enjoyed this float! The lemon sorbet paired really nicely with the beer, turning the idea of an ice cream float on its head. Even Cast Members were saying how delicious this dish was and how guests should try it out. Delicious! The other new drink is the Central 28 Beer Company Elderflower Pale Ale, which is the same drink as the Lemon-Elderflower Float, which costs $12. OVERALL We tend to love Swirled Showcase, and this year’s Flower and Garden Festival offerings are no exception! The Lemon-Elderflower Float surprised us in such a lovely way, combining two amazing foods: ale and soft serve! The Liquid Nitro Honey-Mascarpone Cheesecake was perfect, just like last year, and a great combination of different textures and flavors into one delicious dessert. If you tried anything from Swirled Showcase, leave a review in the comments and tell us your favorite item! The spread! That’s it for this booth, but there’s a LOT more where that came from! 20. We’re enjoying ALL THINGS SPRING at the 2025 EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival! 2025 Trowel & Trellis Food Booth And that includes a visit to the Trowel & Trellis Outdoor Kitchen, one of the Festival’s Outdoor Kitchen Food Booths. The Food Booths join the Garden Rocks Concert Series, the Garden Graze food crawl, the gorgeous Disney topiaries, and more as part of EPCOT’s spring festival. And right now, we’re checking out Trowel & Trellis so we can bring you our complete review… just like we’re doing with every single Outdoor Kitchen at the EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival! Menu You’ll find Trowel & Trellis near the Port of Entry along the World Showcase Promenade. The food items returning this year to Trowel & Trellis are the Soy-glazed Pork Sticky Ribs, the Farmhouse Meatball made with IMPOSSIBLE Beef, and the Chocolate Mousse Terrarium. 2025 Trowel & Trellis Outdoor Kitchen Menu The drink selection is where you’ll spy new items on the menu this year, including the Tropical Punch, which you can enjoy with or without Cruzan Mango Rum. Ology Brewing Co Spa Goggles Cucumber Lime Gose is also new this year. Here we go! Eats Let’s start with the Soy-glazed Pork Sticky Ribs for $7.25. These are plated with green onions and peanuts. These ribs were more moist than we expected and that just made them even better for us. They had a great balance of fat and meat, and that just made them super flavorful. There was also a hint of spice, but it’s Disney spice, so nothing too out there. We also loved the crunchy peanuts on top because they added a nice textural element. Soy-glazed Pork Sticky Ribs Up next is the Farmhouse Meatball, which features IMPOSSIBLE Beef for $6. This plant-based dish is served with Lentil Bread, Spinach, Marinated Vegetables, and creamy herb aïoli. And it happens to be an option for guests participating in the Garden Graze food crawl. Okay, where has this been all our lives? This SHOCKED us with how good it tasted. These meatballs ROCKED. However, we weren’t crazy about the lentil bread, although we loved the creamy herb aioli, which just added a lot of extra flavor to balance it out. This will be one of our favorite plant-based dishes. Farmhouse Meatball The too-cute Chocolate Mousse Terrarium is back for $5.50. A matcha crumble and chocolate “soil” lend this dish its signature look and flavor. This sort of reminded us of a cookies and cream kind of dessert. It’s nice. Maybe it’s not a “must get,” but the presentation is cute. Chocolate Mousse Terrarium We also want to point out that the matcha isn’t too flavor-forward because we know matcha can be a controversial flavor for some. If you don’t like matcha, though, you still might want to skip. Drinks New to Trowel & Trellis is the Tropical Punch made with Twinings Mango & Pineapple Herbal Tea, Minute Maid Passion Fruit Orange, and Guava Juice, Simply Fruit Punch, and simple syrup. You can try it without alcohol for $4.75, or with Cruzan Mango Rum for $11.50. Tropical Punch This drink also surprised us. It’s light and super fruity. This is what you want to drink when it’s hot and humid out because it’s so refreshing. And beer drinkers can try the Ology Brewing Co Spa Goggles Cucumber Lime Gose ($5.75 for a 6-ounce pour, or $9.75 for a 12-ounce pour). OVERALL Overall, this booth is not a best-of-the-fest kind of situation, but plant-based eaters visit just for that Farmhouse Meatball (and honestly, carnivores will like it, too, we think). However, we also found the ribs and drink pretty good, so you’ll want to make this a stop on your EPCOT Flower & Garden food booth adventure. 2025 Spread Thanks for joining us at Trowel & Trellis Outdoor Kitchen! 22. Come along with us as we stop at the halfway point in World Showcase — Refreshment Outpost! Refreshment Outpost Booth The 2025 EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival has officially begun and it has a LOT to offer. There are plenty of food booths with tasty items, unique topiaries to check out, merchandise to grab (of course), and even concerts to watch. But don’t let it overwhelm you, we’ve got you covered with everything you need to know. And now we’re heading to Refreshment Outpost — to give you the FULL scoop! Is it worth a try? Let’s find out! Eats First up, we grabbed the Jamaican Beef Patty featuring IMPOSSIBLE Beef with spicy papaya syrup for $6.75. Last year, this dish was at La Isla Fresca and was a Best of the Fest! Jamaican Beef Patty featuring IMPOSSIBLE Beef with spicy papaya syrup This year, the Jamaican Beef Patty remained outstanding! We found it to be stuffed — arguably even overstuffed — with filling in the best way, all with delicious papaya sauce on top. Yuuuum One note about this dish: it is spicy! In fact, it may be something that’s too spicy for many visitors. Honestly, we’d recommend skipping if you have any sensitivity to heat. That said, if you can handle a little heat and a lot of seasonings and flavors, the balance between the rich, savory filling, the delicious flaky crust, and the sweet, spicy papaya syrup is just perfect, and this may be ideal for you. The other dish at Refreshment Outpost this year is another plant-based item, the Seasonal Fruit Parfait with sweet chili sauce and DOLE Whip Mango for $7. Seasonal Fruit Parfait with sweet chili sauce and DOLE Whip Mango This dish first debuted in early 2024 at the non-Festival Refreshment Outpost, and it stuck around for the 2024 EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival. This year, it’s one of the dishes you can buy for the Garden Graze food crawl. Pretty We were pleasantly surprised at this parfait. The mango DOLE Whip gives an intense, concentrated mango flavor that complements the Tajin, making for a really pleasant and balanced flavor. The fruit inside was just… there. They didn’t add much to the treat, but didn’t take anything away from it either. Drinks The Boyd & Blair Lavender Martini is back on the menu again this year for $12. Lavender Martini: Vodka with lavender and lemon This drink is made with Boyd & Blair Potato Vodka with lavender and lemon, and has been around for a few years. New to the Refreshment Outpost this year are a few news beers and hard ciders. The beers are the Crooked Can Brewing Company Pollinators Paradise Lager and the Gulf Stream Brewing Humble Bumble. A new cider rounds out the drinks for 2025 — the Keel Farms Strawberry Hibiscus Hard Cider, all for $12 a pop. OVERALL We really liked everything about Refreshment Outpost this year. While our highest recommendation would be for those looking to avoid meat or animal products, honestly, we’d go as far as to say that even those who are usually carnivores should make it a point to stop by! 23. It’s finally time for the 2025 EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival! 2025 booth We’re bringing you along as we check out the Primavera Kitchen booth — one of the Outdoor Kitchens (also known as Food Booths) at the park’s springtime celebration! Stop here while enjoying the Festival’s famous Disney topiaries, garden displays, and entertainment. Join us as we review Primavera Kitchen to see if it can bolster the reputation of Italy Pavilion festival booths! Menu Over at the Primavera Kitchen booth, you’ll find a variety of available items. And, all the food this year is NEW! 2025 Primavera Kitchen Menu Now that we’ve taken a look at the menu, let’s dive into the food itself! Eats First up, we grabbed the new Insalata Arlecchino — Grape tomato, seasonal melon, mozzarella ciliegine, and balsamic dressing for $7.50. To us, this was a very minimalist appetizer. It felt kind of rushed, like someone had just chopped up melon, mozzarella, and cherry tomatoes, sprinkled it with balsamic, and called it a day. Our biggest complaint is that the melon overpowered everything, and the flavors did not really complement each other. This dish was just fine. Insalata Arlecchino Next, we grabbed the new Primavera Cacio Pepe e Gamberi made with Penne, shrimp, zucchini, peas, asparagus, and creamy cacio pepe sauce for $8.75. This is a pretty basic dish since it is essentially just cheese, pepper, and shrimp. This automatically got bonus points from us because the tails of the shrimp were already cut off. Our big problem with this dish is that there was not enough sauce; it was just sprinkled on top, which left us with unseasoned and bland al dente penne and baby shrimp. Again, not bad, just fine. Primavera Cacio Pepe e Gamberi For dessert, we got the Chocolate Dirt Cannoli, which is made with a Cannoli shell and cookies and cream cannoli cream filling, for $5.50. This cannoli is basically just a cookies-and-cream cannoli. We were a bit confused why this had to have the dirt and worms. We get that it is the Flower and Garden Festival, but they are taking a dish that is inherently Italian and dressing it up. It just felt like they were doing too much. Other than that, it was great! The shell was tasty, and the filling was sweet and not too rich. Chocolate Dirt Cannoli We washed it all down with… Drinks In terms of drinks at this booth, we have two new options this year. First up, you can get the Italian-inspired Blood Orange Margarita for $12.00.. It’s made with Tequila, triple sec, and blood orange liqueur. If you like citrus, you will most likely enjoy this margarita. If you don’t like tequila, the good news is that this drink is very citrusy, so you can’t really taste it. Italian-Inspired Blood Orange Margarita You might prefer the Caprese Cocktail because this one has cheese! With Basil-infused vodka, balsamic-tomato juice, and fresh mozzarella, we were intrigued by this option, so we bought it for $16.00. To us, this tasted like drinking warm tomato juice; there was a deeper flavor profile, and it did not remind us of a Bloody Mary. There is no ice served with this, so it felt very heavy. Caprese Cocktail Last year, we also sampled the Peroni Pilsner. This year it was selling for $6.50/$11.00. Peroni Nastro Azzurro Pilsner You’ll find some other beverage choices here as well. OVERALL While we did not think Italy was as bad as it usually is, the best way we can sum it up for this year’s Flower and Garden Festival is just fine. Nothing on the menu was too bad, but it also was not great. We will say that at least the dishes felt like they belonged in Italy, but if you don’t really care for Italian food, nothing was remarkable here, so you don’t need to go out of your way to try anything. That’s it for this booth, but there’s a LOT more where that came from! Click here to see FULL reviews of EVERY. SINGLE. BOOTH. at the Flower & Garden Festival! 24. If you love croissants, cheese, chocolate, and beignets, there is ONE place you need to visit during the 2025 EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival Fleur de Lys We’re talking about Fleur de Lys booth — one of the Outdoor Kitchens (also known as Food Booths) at the park’s springtime celebration! There are plenty of food booths with tasty items, unique topiaries to check out, merchandise to grab (of course), and even concerts to watch. But don’t let it overwhelm you, we’ve got you covered with everything you need to know. And now we’re heading to the Fleur de Lys booth to give you the FULL scoop! Is it worth a try? Let’s find out! Eats First up, we grabbed one of our returning favorites, the Croissant au Fromage de Chèvre for $7.25. This is a returning favorite from 2022, 2023, and 2024 — and we’re happy to see it back! The Croissant au Fromage is made with Herbes et Ail Rôtie: Croissant with goat cheese, herbs, and roasted garlic. When we’ve had this snack in years past, we found that it had a lovely, crispy, buttery outside, with a soft inside filled with goat cheese that worked so well with the light herbs and garlic. Does it still wow us this year, too? Croissant au Fromage de Chèvre, Herbes et Ail Rôtie If cheese and bread are your true loves in life, this dish is for you. The croissant is stuffed full of goat cheese, to the point where the ratio of cheese to bread is a bit off. There is A LOT of cheese inside, so you will want to like goat cheese if you are planning on grabbing this dish. However, if you are okay with lots of goat cheese, the flavors in this dish are really wonderful! Croissant au Fromage de Chèvre Next up, we have a NEW dish — Gnocchis Provencal Aux Herbes for $8.95. The Gnocchis Provencal Aux Herbes is made with pulled duck confit in a rosemary sauce. Pulled duck confit is not a new concept for this booth. Last year, we had this with some garlicky mashed potatoes — and this year, the featured starch is gnocchi. And we’re excited to try it! Gnocchis Provencal Aux Herbes While this dish may not look the most appetizing, we were amazed by how much we enjoyed it. There is lots of gravy flavor with chunky mushrooms. We were getting Thanksgiving vibes from the hardy flavors in this dish. If you are looking for a savory, mushroom-filled dish, we highly recommend not judging this guy based on its looks! Gnocchis Provencal Aux Herbes, Canard Confit, Sauce Romarin Get your tastebuds ready for ANOTHER new dish — this one is chocolatey! We’re grabbing the Gâteau au Chocolat chaud a la Noisette for $7.25. This treat is a warm chocolate-hazelnut cake. Is this a Nutella lover’s dream come true?! We can’t wait to taste it and find out! Gâteau au Chocolat chaud a la Noisette If you love eating brownie batter, you will be impressed by this dish. It tastes like unbaked brownie batter. It has lots of rich chocolate flavor, but it may not be for everyone. If you can’t wait to lick the brownie batter from the bowl, you would like this one, but if you prefer a baked brownie, you may want to grab a different dessert. Gâteau au Chocolat chaud a la Noisette And finally, we’re ending the mini-meal at this booth with one of our returning FAVORITES! Yep, we’re getting the Beignet Caramélisé for $6.95. This is a caramelized beignet filled with vanilla cream and glazed with salted caramel. This has been on the menu for a little while, and when we had it back in 2022 we loved it. And (surprise, surprise) in 2023, we loved it, again! When it reappeared last year, we couldn’t praise it loud enough! So, is this year’s iteration a four-peat of claiming our hearts? Beignet Caramélisé, Fourré Crème Vanille, Glacé au Caramel Fleur de Sel We love the hard, caramelized top that cracks as you bite into the beignet. The beignet portion of the treat is essentially a cream filled donut. While this one doesn’t quite top the Crème Brûlée Croissant in Magic Kingdom, it is still pretty tasty! Drinks Is it even the Flower and Garden Festival in France without the returning La Vie en Rose Frozen Slush? This drink is made with Vodka, Grey Goose L’Orange Vodka, St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur, and white and red cranberry juices, and is priced at $14.75. In the past, we’ve found this drink to be VERY yummy! If you’re a fan of the more regularly offered alcoholic slushies within the France pavilion, this is one we’ve felt like you’d typically enjoy. La Vie en Rose Frozen Slush Once again, this drink did not disappoint. It is light, refreshing, and has a good amount of rose flavor. However, if you aren’t a fan of floral drinks, this might be a skip for you! La Vie en Rose Frozen Slush Next up, we’re getting a familiar but new fruity cocktail. This year, France is serving up a Sparkling Cantaloupe-Melon Cocktail for $9.50. It is made with French cantaloupe and honeydew liqueur and sparkling wine. Last year, this booth served a slightly different experience with the Sparkling Raspberry Cocktail. But this year, they did a little fruity swapperoo, now mixing in some melon flavors! Sparkling Cantaloupe-Melon Cocktail We were really impressed with this drink! This drink has lots of great melon flavor and it was very strong. There was no guessing if there was alcohol in it or not, you could 100% tell it was in there. It makes sense as this drink was essentially entirely alcohol. It has the sweetness of a liqueur which can be a bit too sweet for some, but if you like liqueur sweetness, you will really like this drink. Sparkling Cantaloupe-Melon Cocktail You can also find Kronenbourg Blanc 1664 here for $6 for 6 oz. or $9.95 for 12 oz. As well, you can grab a glass of R. Dutoit Les Vieilles Collines Chardonnay for $7. OVERALL There really is a lot to love at Fleur de Lys! We enjoyed everything we tried with the standouts being the Croissant au Fromage de Chèvre, Gnocchis Provencal Aux Herbes, and the La Vie en Rose Frozen Slush. However, you really can’t go wrong with anything at this booth. The flavors are top-notch, and we left feeling very satisfied with our food and drinks. Yep, depending on when you visit, you can experience a whole new set of bites and nibbles! Since we’re here for the first day of the festival, we’ll be able to try the options from the Early Bloom Menu! ©Disney The first menu is called the Early Bloom Menu, and it will be available from March 5th through April 5th, and we’re digging in! Eats First up, we grabbed Scallop with spring pea risotto featuring BEN’S ORIGINAL INTERNATIONAL GRAINS Arborio Rice, lemon-beurre blanc, and Gremolata for $8. Scallop with spring pea risotto featuring BEN’S ORIGINAL INTERNATIONAL GRAINS Arborio Rice, lemon-beurre blanc, and Gremolata Though this is listed as a returning item, it is remarkably similar to an option from last year’s Springtime Menu at this booth. Last year, the scallop was served with tomato risotto featuring BEN’S ORIGINAL INTERNATIONAL GRAINS Arborio Rice and tomato beurre blanc. We’re excited to see if this year’s version measures up to last year’s. Yum! This year, while the risotto wasn’t anything to write home about, the scallops themselves were amazing. They were perfectly buttery and just fell apart in your mouth — exactly how we like it! Look at that perfect scallop! Next, let’s dig into one of the new items! Here’s a look at the Grilled Asparagus for $5.50. Grilled Asparagus with pancetta bacon, spring peas, frisée lettuce, truffle-sherry vinaigrette, and soft-poached egg This dish is served with pancetta bacon, spring peas, frisée lettuce, truffle-sherry vinaigrette, and soft-poached egg. We loved everything that came with this asparagus. While the asparagus wasn’t mind-blowing, all the elements around it brought the most flavor and let it be the star. Look at all the toppings! Finally, it’s time for a little something sweet. We’re trying out the new Blueberry Crumble Cake for $4.75. Blueberry Crumble Cake This dish is served with blueberry-lemon zest soft-serve and blueberry compote. Yet again, this new dish bears a remarkable familiarity to a dish from last year. Last year, we had the Blueberry Buckle with lemon crème fraîche. Last year, we LOVED this, so this year’s iteration has some big shoes to fill. Does it measure up? The perfect texture Let’s just say it did! We loved this Blueberry Crumble but wish it was a little bit more tart. It’s very sweet but has that tart tang at the end. The soft serve carries most of the sweetness and is perfectly creamy. The whole dish had a fantastic texture from the crunchy and creamy and was overall a great dish. Drinks Raise a glass of Hibiscus Lemonade Cocktail for $12. This cocktail features Islamorada Brewery & Stillery Hibiscus Gin. We had this drink at the festival back in 2021, again in 2023, and yet again last year, and we thought it was the epitome of the Flower & Garden Festival. It was light and refreshing with a strong floral flavor. Hibiscus Lemonade Cocktail And also returning this year is the Frozen Lemon Tea Cocktail for $12. Frozen Lemon Tea Cocktail This cocktail is made with Bärenjäger Honey & Bourbon. Last year, it reminded us of a bourbon slushy in the BEST way! Finally, on the menu are the new beers. Gulf Stream Brewing Les Rêves de Monet Lager with lavender, B. Nektar Peach Tea Mead, Collective Arts Brewing Spring Pilsner. You get individual pours for $5.75 for 6-ounce pours or $9.75 for 12-ounce pours, or grab all three with the Beer Flight for $10.25 OVERALL We did not expect this booth to blow us away, but it did! We loved the scallops, and it will for sure be on our Best of the Fest list. The Blueberry Crumble had fantastic textures and made us wish we could buy the whole cake. We always love the drinks from the booth and, overall, will be stopping back by to try our favorites again. If you’re stopping by this booth, don’t forget to leave a review in the comments!
