We’ve got a major update on the potential train between Disney World and the Orlando International Airport. Orlando International Airport Recently, the Orlando City Council voted to approve $500,000 for a study on a potential expansion of the SunRail system to include stops at Orlando International Airport, the Universal Orlando Resort, the Orlando Convention Center, and Disney Springs. And, Universal Orlando has announced that they’re also ponying up some change for the study. Universal Orlando has announced that it’s putting $2 million toward the cost of the study needed to bring the SunRail line from Orlando International Airport (MCO) to International Drive, according to WKMG Orlando. The Central Florida Commuter Rail Commission needs about $6 million total for project development and environmental study. ©SunRail The study is a necessary step before federal or state government funding can be approved to begin building the site. The Florida Department of Transportation is contributing $2 million to the study, and Universal announced that they’ll be matching that money. ©Orlando Business Journal “We will absolutely commit to match the $2 million that the DOT is putting on the table for the next stage, which will hopefully then match the commission’s as well, so we will have a fully-funded PD&E to go and get this thing done right with the (Federal Transit Administration),” said John McReynolds with Universal Destinations and Experiences. ©SunRail Back in February, the Orlando local government agreed to contribute $500,000 to the potential SunRail expansion study. However, a few other organizations and potentially private businesses will need to fund the study, as the Orlando Sentinel reported that it will cost $6 million. Once completed, the study could help sway the federal government to construct the Sunshine Corridor project. ©SunRail The two-year study would dig into projected ridership of the expansion, maintenance and operating costs, environmental impacts, station locations, and track alignments. The push for an expansion of the SunRail system comes at a time when traffic congestion is strangling the roads among many of Orlando’s attractions, including Disney World. Another massive FDOT project — an expansion of I-4 outside of Disney Springs — aimed at reducing this congestion just began construction this month. Disney Springs The proposed corridor would connect the existing SunRail line to MCO along with another east-west line between the airport to planned stations at the Orange County Convention Center, International Drive South, and eventually, Disney Springs. “Universal and the CDD still has land reserved for the station and some of the tracks, and we stand as committed a day as we’ve ever been,” McReynolds said. ©SunRail We’ll continue to keep an eye on more updates regarding this potential expansion. In the meantime, we’ll be on the lookout for the latest Orlando theme park news. Make sure you stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog so you don’t miss out! Unfortunately, layoffs are set to hit across Disney’s entertainment networks. ©ABC The Wall Street Journal reported that Disney is planning to cut nearly 6% of their staff across ABC News and other Disney entertainment networks. The layoffs can start as early as today, Wednesday, March 5th. According to the Wall Street Journal, “about 200 employees are being let go at Disney’s ABC News Group and Disney’s Entertainment Networks unit.” This is sadly just one of the latest of several workforce reductions that Disney has made over the last few years. Many entertainment companies, like Disney, are “looking for ways to save on what used to be core businesses as it spends more on sports and entertainment content to compete in the streaming marketplace.” The Walt Disney Company Many consumers are ditching their cable packages and instead moving towards streaming services. Due to this, ABC News shows like “Nightline” and “20/20” are being “consolidated into one unit,” which means job cuts. In addition to making production teams smaller, ABC is eliminating its “political and data-driven news site 538,” which was run with about 15 employees. “Good Morning America” will be consolidated under one person, as before the third hour of the show had a separate production team. ©Good Morning America As for the Disney Entertainment Networks Unit, there will be reductions in the programming and scheduling sector. After this wave of layoffs, we will be looking for more updates. For the latest Disney news, continue to follow the Disney Food Blog. Today will be great — and it’s all because the 2025 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival has begun! 2025 EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival This year’s festival runs from March 5th through June 2nd, 2025, and this year marks the 30th Anniversary of this beloved event! We’re making our way around the festival, checking out all the incredible topiaries, entertainment, merchandise, and of course — food! But, oddly enough, we’re not the only ones who decided to show up to the first day of the festival — who would have thought?! Despite the rainy weather, the crowds were out in full force at EPCOT this morning! There was quite a long line of folks waiting to be let in when we arrived around Early Entry, but many people were huddled beneath the awning to try and stay dry. The weather might be less than ideal, but hey, all those plants and flowers do need to be watered! Crowds lined up in the rain! Quite a few people had already busted out their ponchos due to the rain, which is supposed to clear up a little this afternoon — so fingers crossed for some sunny skies eventually! EPCOT opened at 9AM ET to all guests, but at 8:30AM to Disney World hotel guests with the Early Theme Park Entry perk. While that 30 minutes into the park won’t necessarily help you get a head start on the food booths (many of these don’t open until World Showcase opens, around 11AM), it CAN help you get early access to some great photo opportunities in the park and (perhaps more importantly) the merchandise. Waiting to get in Once we were inside the park, we were held back for a bit, which only made the crowds seem to get worse… What’s the holdup? …but once everyone was officially allowed further into the park, things started to clear out a bit. We’ll see how things go as the day goes on! Much better! We headed over to the Creations Shop to check out some of the exclusive festival merchandise and couldn’t believe how long the line was to get in! We don’t think we’ve seen quite as long of a line as this one is for festival merchandise in a while — if ever! Luckily, things seemed to be moving quickly, but Disney is limiting the number of people allowed in the store at one time for now, so keep that in mind if you’re headed to the festival today or later this week and weekend. Plenty of people in line for merchandise! The festival just got started and we can’t wait to check it all out throughout the day. We’ll continue to keep you updated on crowds at this year’s EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival, too! Oh, and if you want to start planning ahead of time, pick up a DFB Guide to the EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival! Since Disneyland first opened just about seven decades ago, the company’s parks have been defined in part by “the little things.” Small thematic details that, while not being integral rides or attractions, add to the immersive nature of the parks in ways that guests don’t even realize. American Adventure EPCOT’s World Showcase is full of such details, with each international pavilion meticulously crafted to recreate the versions each country that exist in guests’ minds, if not always exactly in real life. Today we’re looking at one of those details that many may initially miss: The American Adventure’s Golden Dream. The American Adventure is one of EPCOT’s more interesting World Showcase pavilions. During the initial development of the park (after it had already evolved from the original E.P.C.O.T. city idea) there was back and forth amongst Imagineers as to whether the World Showcase should have an America-themed pavilion at all, as some argued it was redundant. ©Disney Eventually, it was decided that there would be an American pavilion, but original plans called for it to be a modernist steel and glass building housing an animatronic show which would be situated at the FRONT of the World Showcase, acting as “host” that would beckon guests from Future World. As development of the park progressed, those plans were altered to the colonial-themed pavilion at the back of the World Showcase that opened with the park in 1982. American Adventure The animatronic show remained, and since opening has been headlined by the song “Golden Dreams.” However, the well-known track isn’t the only Golden Dream located in the pavilion. On the shores of the World Showcase Lagoon, just in front of the America Gardens Theater sits another: a scale recreation of an 18th century rum runner ship that bears the same name! ©Disney The ship was designed by Dering Consultants and debuted at the park in 1993. According to the company’s website, “Dering designed and developed Disney’s Golden Dream 18th Century Revolutionary Warship from concept to completion” for display at the park. It’s a “historically accurate replica of a 1776 Continental rum runner sloop. A sloop is a sailing ship with a single mast and a fore-and-aft rig. Sloops have been both war and trading ships with a flat deck to hold a vast array of supplies.” ©Disney For just over a decade, the ship sat free-floating in the waters near the pavilion until it was heavily damaged by Hurricane Charley in 2004 and removed. Due to a push from Cast Members and Imagineers, the ship was brought back in a newly restored form. In fact, the new ship, designed by BlueDock, isn’t a “ship” at all, but rather a facade built around a floating dock. Currently, the best vantage point to see the Golden Dream ship is from the Italy Pavilion. Golden Dream While the Golden Dream may not be a headline attraction by any means (in fact, many guests may not even know it’s there), it adds to the thematic immersion of the American Adventure! The menu draws inspiration from Miguel’s colorful world and the flavors of Mexico. For the first dinner, join Miguel and other characters for a festive gathering in Mariachi Plaza that honors the heritage of music and love that runs deep within the Rivera family. “Our story takes place three years after the film,” Juan Cantu, Show Director, Disney Live Entertainment, said. “In working with our partners, we asked permission to continue the story and not just retell it. We first had to figure out the emotional beats, so we thought about the important lessons the film teaches us about generational healing. Music is a strong part of that. We also wanted to center it around our traditional celebration of Dia de los Muertos. There was a careful planning for what we wanted the experience for the week to be, and we had to decide what would be for night one and what would be for night two.” For the second dinner, Miguel reunites with his great-great-grandparents, Hector and Mamá Imelda, and transports them to the town square in Santa Cecilia with the help of his magic guitar to celebrate Dia de los Muertos — the Day of the Dead. Diners are invited to join them as they honor all celebrations, from guests’ birthdays to anniversaries and more. Worlds of Marvel, Disney Cruise Line’s Marvel-themed dining experience, hosts Disney Treasure guests for two distinct nights, including a brand-new offering that showcases the lively duo Rocket and Groot from the blockbuster Guardians of the Galaxy films. The whole family is invited to assemble at Worlds of Marvel, an innovative restaurant that features Super Heroes in a larger-than-life showcase of groundbreaking quantum technology and world-class cuisine. Currently exclusive to the Disney Treasure is Marvel Celebration of Heroes: Groot Remix, an out-of-this-world celebration honoring the Super Heroes of the MCU who safeguard the world. Featuring Rocket Racoon and Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy, the story unfolds onscreen when Groot decides to throw the ultimate surprise party for Rocket — just in time for dessert! Guests eat to the beat of an “awesome mix” of popular songs as they test their knowledge of the MCU with onscreen activities and trivia. The Jade Cricket Café, inspired by the classic Disney film Mulan, serves a selection of coffee, tea, specialty beverages, and snacks.Quick Bites and Treats Speaking of food, discover a mix of mouthwatering cuisines at Marceline Market, named for Walt Disney’s early childhood hometown in Missouri. Here, guests will find classic favorites, international specialties, and plant-based offerings served for breakfast and lunch. In the center of the upper decks, guests will find tasty offerings and fan-favorite treats from uniquely themed food stations at Mickey & Friends Festival of Foods: Mickey’s Smokestack BBQ, Donald’s Cantina, Daisy’s Pizza Pies, Goofy’s Grill, and Minnie’s Delights. Heihei Café, named after Moana’s trusty sidekick, echoes the scalloped seashells and reflective blue waters of the storied Southern Pacific Isle of Motunui as it is portrayed in Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Moana. For guests who need a quick coffee, tea, or snack, look no further than one of two specialty walkup cafés located just steps away from the Grand Hall. Heihei Café, inspired by Disney Animation’s Moana, serves coffee, tea, and specialty beverages, as well as themed snacks. Inspired by Disney Animation’s Mulan, The Jade Cricket Café honors the Fa family’s “lucky” cricket, Cri-Kee, who is represented on the bar top by a jade sculpture. Thoughtful design details include one of the film’s most iconic quotes, which appears on a mirror behind the bar: “The flower that blooms in adversity is the most rare and beautiful of all.” In the welcoming Triton Lounge — a versatile space designed to be fun for all — guests can sip refreshing beverages while engaging in various activities such as karaoke and trivia. A Private Oasis Guests sailing aboard the Disney Treasure get to spend a day at Disney Castaway Cay, a private island reserved exclusively for Disney Cruise Line guests on Bahamian and Caribbean cruises. Port Orleans French Quarter And, the best part is that you don’t even need a park ticket for this parade! That’s right — the Port Orleans Mardi Gras Parade is BACK and it’s better than ever this year. Check out all the incredible floats right here! We love seeing this annual golf cart parade! The golf carts are decorated by Disney World Cast Members, who then parade the carts along the Sassagoula River from Port Orleans Riverside to Port Orleans French Quarter. It’s such a fun experience and everyone seemed to be having a great time! Mardi Gras Celebration 2025 The parade kicked off with Disney Ambassadors dancing to The Magical Music of Disney, which was this year’s theme! Different groups of Cast Members create intricate golf cart “floats” and they’re a treat to see. Disney Ambassadors We spotted this Mardi Gras themed float, which we felt was appropriate for the occasion. Mardi Gras float Next up, some of the Port Orleans Riverside office staff created this amazing Moana-themed “float,” complete with Pua leading the way… Moana …and how adorable is this Princess and the Frog-themed float?! We love the kissing frogs on the back. Princess and the Frog There was an incredible Coco float that was actually a golf cart pulling a float… There was a Coco float! …and of course, The Muppets featuring the Electric Mayhem were there too! The Cast Members did such a great job, and these were only some of the golf cart floats at this year’s parade. It’s a great time, if you can make it! THE MUPPETS! Unfortunately, you’ll have to wait until Mardi Gras next year to see this parade, as it only happens once per year! A new video on Disney’s social media channels has given a tiny teaser about the upcoming new version of Test Track. Test Track In early March 2025, the official Disney Imagineering Instagram account posted a short clip of a day in the life of a project engineer working on the on-going refurbishment of EPCOT’s Test Track. Over the course of the video, we see Carleigh working on site… @WaltDisneyImagineering Instagram … attending meetings… @WaltDisneyImagineering Instagram … and most interesting to us, giving quick peeks at what appears to be the attraction’s queue area… @WaltDisneyImagineering Instagram … and part of the ride, possibly the unloading area (though it’s tough to tell). @WaltDisneyImagineering Instagram Work began on this third incarnation of Test Track as soon as the previous version closed for refurbishment last June. According to Disney, the latest version of Test Track will “take inspiration” from World of Motion, the original EPCOT attraction that “took visitors on a time travel journey through the history of transportation” which Test Track replaced in the late 1990s. Furthermore, this reimagining will celebrate the “past, present, and future of automation.” ©Disney A new official Disney social media gives some insight into a day in the life of an Imagineer… and may give a sneak peek at the NEW Test Track! Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in Disney World is currently closed and will be that way for at least a year. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is currently closed Yeah, we know. That’s a BIG bummer, especially if you’re visiting Disney World this year. However, this is the first big refurbishment that the Magic Kingdom ride has had in a while, so Disney obviously has big plans for updating it a bit. Now, we’ve already noticed quite a bit of work happening on the ride, and we even have a hint of when we think it might reopen in 2026, but what will have changed with the ride then? Well, it turns out the answer to that is…A LOT. Yes, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is going to be VERY different when it reopens. Here’s how. Smoother track Okay, so it was no secret that riding Big Thunder Mountain Railroad was a bit rough, enough to help some people pass kidney stones. OUCH. Well, we’ve already seen that Disney is removing the track, which means that track will be getting replaced with something that’s probably new. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad’s new track will be smoother Disney has even filed a permit for work by Coastal Steel, a company that has experience constructing the steel for roller coaster tracks, suggesting that this is likely the case. So when Big Thunder Mountain Railroad reopens, it will probably feel a lot smoother. The PROBLEM with the Year-Long Closure of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at Magic Kingdom A new view The roller coaster will also have a new view because a lot of Frontierland and BEHIND the coaster is changing. First, a Cars expansion is replacing Rivers of America and Tom Sawyer Island, so Big Thunder Mountain Railroad will have a great view of that. ©Disney However, a new Villains land will be going BEHIND the ride, so when you ride it, you’re either going to get a changed view to hide the new land or you’re going to get to see the land from a unique perspective when you ride Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Why Disney Adults (Including Me) Keep Asking for Row 15 on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad New magic Disney has said that “the attraction will reopen with a little bit of new magic.” We have no idea what that means, but it could mean that Disney has plans to add new effects, lighting, and enhancements. Big Thunder Mountain at Disneyland What we’re hoping for is that Disney adds the cool projection effects you can see in the Disneyland version of the ride. But we won’t know for sure until something is announced. No One Knows This Secret About Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in Magic Kingdom So the truth is we don’t know about EVERYTHING that will be different about Big Thunder Mountain Railroad when it reopens in 2026, but we do know that it will be different, nonetheless. We’ll be keeping an eye out for announcements about the ride from Disney, so until then, stay tuned to DFB for more. Drinking around the world can be a great way to get a taste of each country in the World Showcase in EPCOT! EPCOT When you drink around the world, you make a stop in each country for a drink, that’s 11 drinks if you’re counting. If you’re looking to take this challenge on, there are a few things NOT to do. Drink More Than Just Your Alcoholic Beverages You want to make sure you’re drinking water and staying hydrated while taking on this challenge. It can get HOT here in Disney World so when you mix the heat, the humidity, and a bunch of alcohol, you might start regretting your choices. Be sure you’re grabbing some of that FREE water from the quick service locations along the way. Avocado Margarita Everywhere You Can Find Free Water in Disney World Sharing is in Fact Caring… For Your Body Don’t underestimate these Disney drinks. They can pack a punch with the alcohol content, so don’t shut down the idea of sharing your drinks. Not only will your body thank you, but you can also try more options if there’s a large group of you to share with. This is a good idea when it comes to drink flights that can be found at EPCOT festivals. 2024 Mimosa Flight A Guide to Every Festival in EPCOT Do Not Ride After 3 PM Alright, so not literally 3 PM, but we do not recommend going on Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind after drinking around the world… I’m sure those Cast Members over at Cosmic Rewind would agree. If you have not ridden this incredible attraction yet, it spins you and can be known to disorient you even while you are sober. If you are setting your eyes on the drinking challenge, try to grab a Single Pass for the ride early in the day BEFORE your beverages or you can rope drop it! Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind Don’t Forget to Snack Around the World While drinking around the countries is fun, don’t forget to snack around the world too. This will give you energy for your challenge. It will also help your body process the alcohol. I mean, do we really need to convince you to try delicious food? Grab that huge pretzel in Germany or something fun from a festival booth. Block and Hans Here’s Our Ultimate Guide to the Best Snacks at EPCOT Make a Plan It’s a good idea to research which drinks you’ll want to try at each stop. This will also help you plan how much to spend on your quest. Researching ahead of time can also save you from spending money on a drink you won’t like. If you are heading to EPCOT during a festival, don’t forget to check out our festival guides and videos where we tell you what is a must-try and what’s a skip. Good news! Disney has officially filed another permit in Animal Kingdom — this time, for a new show opening at the Tree of Life. Tree of Life Grab your 3D glasses, and let’s see what’s up with Zootopia: Better Zoogether! Disney recently filed a new permit to “install set elements” for Zootopia: Better Zoogether! ©Disney Better Zoogether will replace It’s Tough to be a Bug! in The Tree of Life at Animal Kingdom at Disney World. The original show is planned to close on March 17th, 2025, so your last chance to see it is on March 16th. This new show “will take guests on an adventure through different biomes seen in the film,” and guests will see Judy Hopps, Nick Wilde, and more! Nick Wilde at Disneyland It’s Tough to be a Bug! wasn’t part of most people’s perfect day at Animal Kingdom and was a bit terrifying for lots of kids. From giant spiders coming from the ceiling to being poked in the back by a hornet, the show might have taken the idea of showing people what it’s like to be a bug a little too far. It’s Tough to Be a Bug In terms of the permit, Disney hasn’t given us too much of a look inside, but we can see from the concept art that Officer Benjamin Clawhauser’s animatronic will be to the right, where Hopper used to sit! Flick also used to pop out of the ceiling in the original show, so we can assume they’ll change Flick to a Zootopia character. ©Disney This permit was filed on March 3rd, so it seems like Disney is ready to get the ball rolling and change out It’s Tough to be a Bug! Disney World is home to several different hotels — each with its own set of pros and cons. Ask us to choose our favorite, and our answer will probably be different every time. Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge But, there’s one hotel that tends to stand out among the rest — Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. On most days, we’d probably say that Animal Kingdom Lodge is our favorite because of the impeccable dining, incredible theming, and oh yeah — the actual, real-life safari animals on the savanna. But, this hotel has two BIG issues. Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is a Deluxe Resort — which isn’t unique, but it’s the only Disney hotel where you’re going to find a FULL savanna with over 30 different species of African wildlife, a Starlight Safari tour, hotel rooms with savanna views, and incredible restaurants specializing in African cuisine. Animal Kingdom Lodge We’d recommend it to ANYONE in a heartbeat… BUT, if you’ve never stayed at this hotel before, we do need to warn you about this hotel’s transportation pitfalls. Animal Kingdom Lodge Animal Kingdom Lodge is extremely spaced out, which means you have to deal with the hotel’s internal bus loop. Essentially, at large Disney World hotels, the bus makes multiple stops throughout the resort property before leaving to go to a park. It circles the resort to pick guests up from different bus stops, instead of one centralized location. This can be a big time suck that can eat up a good chunk of time. Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge Not only that, but Animal Kingdom Lodge is the only Deluxe Resort in Disney World that strictly uses buses to get around. You don’t have the option of using any walking paths, monorails, boats, or the Skyliner. You’ll be paying a Deluxe hotel price but you’ll have less proximity to the theme parks than you would with other Deluxe resorts. Uzima Pool at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge But, if you’re planning on spending a good amount of time at Animal Kingdom, then this hotel absolutely makes sense for you. It’s fairly close to the park (shocking, we know) so if Animal Kingdom is where you plan on spending the most time (or you just really like Animals), this could still be the hotel for you. It can also be a great option if you’re driving your own car and want to utilize that instead of Disney transportation as well. Animal Kingdom Lodge No matter what resort you choose, just remember to look and see where it’s located inside the Disney bubble BEFORE you book it. That way, you’ll know where it’s situated in the midst of everything else on property. Okapi at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge! Hold up for a sec! Remember when Walt Disney Animation Studios announced a long-form TV show based on our beloved The Princess and the Frog? Tiana Topiary This is not the update we wanted to give on the show that was slated to stream on Disney+. The show Tiana has officially been canceled, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Originally announced in 2020, this show was supposed to be a “long-form musical comedy,” but Disney has since decided to pull back from making original long-form content for streaming. The company is focusing more on theatrical movie releases and later placing the movies on streaming. ©Disney Concept Art The show was planned to take place after The Princess and the Frog and have Anika Noni Rose reprising her role as Tiana. It would have followed the princess as she “sets off for a grand adventure as the newly crowned Princess of Maldonia, but a calling to her New Orleans past isn’t far behind.” Anika Noni Rose ©Disney While we’re very disappointed this Tiana show isn’t going to be created, is there still a chance we’ll get a sequel after The Princess and the Frog, which came out in 2009? The sequel to Moana was originally supposed to be a TV series under the name Moana, which was also announced in 2020. This idea was later transformed into Moana 2, which was released in theaters in November 2024. The movie made more than 1 billion dollars at the box office and will be streaming on Disney+ on March 12th. Moana in her Moana 2 outfit Inside Out 2, which came out this past summer, earned 192 million dollars at the worldwide box office nine years after the original movie. We even got Dream Productions, a limited series based in the Inside Out universe, which streamed directly to Disney+. Anxiety and Joy Disney has shown a lot of love to The Princess and the Frog after retheming Splash Mountain to Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in both Disneyland and Disney World. Tiana was also the icon of the runDisney Wine and Dine Half Marathon Weekend in 2024, and Ray was on the most recent Annual Passholder magnet. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure We’re not sure what Disney’s plans are with Princess Tiana, but keep following the Disney Food Blog to stay up to date on everything we know. There are few things we love in this world more than Disney — but bread and cheese are definitely high on the list. Woody’s Lunch Box SO, when we get to combine these three loves together and eat bread and cheese while we’re actually at Disney World, well, those are some of our favorite days. We recently stopped by a fan-favorite Disney’s Hollywood Studios restaurant to see if it still held up, and we’re sharing our thoughts in this review! We stopped by Woody’s Lunch Box at Disney’s Hollywood Studios over in Toy Story Land to pick up the Grilled Three-Cheese Sandwich for $10.99. It’s made with melted provolone, cheddar, and American cheese on grilled sourdough bread. You get a choice of sides, and we went with the Tomato Basil Soup dipper! Grilled Three Cheese Sandwich and Tomato Soup We must say that spending $11 on a grilled cheese sandwich was slightly painful at first, but this cheese was AMAZING. The combination of the melty cheddar and American cheeses with the sharper provolone was so good, and we were getting some garlicky vibes this time around as well. SO cheesy We were also huge fans of the tomato basil soup dipper on the side. It wasn’t too sweet or too acidic — just the perfect combination of rich tomatoes and basil. Our only complaint here is that we wish it came with a bit more soup! Good soup Having the two together — the grilled cheese dipped into the soup — feels like a really nice grown-up grilled cheese sandwich, and the portions are pretty nice for the price. This is an especially great option for picky eaters or those who have other bugaboos when it comes to food! A delicious combo!
