By now, a lot of us have likely processed all the exciting news we got from D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event in August. Hollywood Studios We know that Villains Land is on its way to Magic Kingdom and it was recently announced that a new Villains show is coming to where Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy is currently in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. But one of the other announcements we’re really excited about is the new Monsters Inc. land coming to Hollywood Studios! While we still don’t know where exactly this land will be yet, we feel like we need to focus on something real quick that a lot of people are missing. We’ve talked about the new suspended coaster, Disney’s first, coming to the new land and yes, it’s very cool and we can’t wait to experience it, but it’s time to focus on something smaller right now. ©Disney We want to talk about some of the small details we’ve noticed in this concept art. We recently pointed out a really cool Sully-themed slide close to the main attraction that we think is super adorable. ©Disney And we do know that HarryHausen’s, the iconic restaurant from the film, is getting some representation as well! ©Disney But wait, let’s back it up a second and look at one of these full images again. ©Disney Everything looks so fun and colorful, but wait, speaking of food, we need to talk about these ICE CREAM CONES! These are full-on Monsters-inspired ice cream concoctions and we are going to be SO thrilled if these genuinely come to life. ©Disney THEY LOOK SO GOOD! They’ve got edible eyes and cherries and mini cones for hats, and it looks like you can get a blue scoop that looks like Sully and a green scoop that (kinda? If you squint?) looks like Mike Wazowski! We can’t wait to hear about the ice cream shop that these will most likely come from. Quite a few changes are coming to Disney World in the future! Spaceship Earth We’ve discussed the new Villains Land at Magic Kingdom, the Monsters, Inc. Land at Hollywood Studios, and the Tropical Americas at Animal Kingdom, but what about EPCOT? The park just wrapped up its massive transformation, but there are still some projects to be completed…including the major update for Test Track. Test Track is currently closed for construction as the ride gets a “reimagining.” The overhaul will be inspired by Test Track’s predecessor, World of Motion, and will still be sponsored by Chevrolet. We’ve already seen some concept art for the new look. Test Track concept art ©Disney We know that the ride will reopen in 2025, thanks to an announcement from D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event. Also during that showcase, Disney confirmed the queue will feature six distinct exhibits, and within each room, celebrate the vehicles as well as the people behind the vehicles who usher in that next chapter in our collective journey. Reimagining concept art ©Disney But now, we’ve got another update! A permit was just filed with Orange County, FL for a Notice of Commencement on Test Track. This permit is specifically listed for Icarus Exhibits, Inc. to “install set elements” at the address belonging to the ride. Icarus Exhibits has previously worked with Disney World on a number of projects. Test Track under construction This is not the first of the permits that we’ve seen filed for this ride and show building, but it IS a pretty significant step in the process. Disney seems to be pushing through construction on this ride fairly quickly, considering it just closed for the refurbishment back in June. If you’ve traveled to Disney World — or anywhere — you’ve probably brought your devices onto an airplane. ©United Airlines You might have even used Wi-Fi on that plane (which typically costs an additional fee on many airlines) and been frustrated with just how awful it is. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t, and when it does work, it is SLOW. So, while you may want to watch a movie or TV show via a streaming subscription, it’s pretty much impossible. Well, that is about to change on one airline: faster Wi-Fi on planes is coming. United Airlines has partnered with SpaceX’s Starlink to offer gate-to-gate high-speed internet service for its passengers. That means you’ll be able to access live TV and streaming services, shopping, gaming, and more on United seatback screens and personal devices…at the same time. ©United Airlines Starlink has satellites in low Earth orbit that can offer reliable high speeds that can reach areas — like inside a plane while in the air — previously not accessible by traditional cellular or Wi-Fi signals. So you’ll get the internet you’ve never been able to get on an airplane before! Even better, you’ll get it completely FOR FREE. United expects to have Starlink on all its aircraft (that’s over 1,000 planes) over the next several years. Testing will begin in early 2025 with passenger flights coming later that year. ©Getty Images “Everything you can do on the ground, you’ll soon be able to do onboard a United plane at 35,000 feet, just about anywhere in the world,” said United CEO Scott Kirby. “This connectivity opens the door for an even better inflight entertainment experience, in every seatback – more content, that’s more personalized. United’s culture of innovation is, once again, delivering big for our customers.” We have to say that’s pretty exciting and we can only hope that this becomes an industry standard. All of us on the DFB team LOVE the Halloween season at Disney World. Pumpkins have taken over Main Street U.S.A.! Everything is so spooky and fun, and there are adorable orange pumpkins everywhere on Main Street, U.S.A. But another reason we love this season is all the super cool limited-time snacks you can get while you’re visiting. This time, however, we decided to try something different and MAKE our own Halloween snack at Disney World. The best part? You can make it, too! This could be a great mix for a group to share as it kind of has something for everyone: chewy and fruity gummies, crispy and fruit freeze-dried Skittles, chocolatey M&Ms, and kettle corn. And you can dip whatever you want in the chocolate drizzle. The Oreo crumbles taste spectacularly delicious on the popcorn! It’s truly a mix fit for a Halloween dream (or nightmare? Nah, this is TOO good, definitely a dream!). All great inventions need a great name, so for this treat, we’re gonna go with the DFB Monster Mash-Up! Southwest is having another sale with fares as low as $49 one way! Southwest Airlines at the Orlando Airport If you are traveling this fall or winter, you will want to check out this new sale to see if you can save some money. Southwest Airline’s newest sale includes plane tickets for as low as $49 one way. The Southwest Wanna Get Away Sale is valid on continental U.S. travel from October 1st, 2024 through December 18th, 2024. If you are traveling to Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or internationally, you can save on travel from October 1st, 2024 through February 10th, 2025. Southwest Plane You will need to book your flights by September 19th, 2024 at 11:59PT to take advantage of the low fares. While the sale has some blackout dates and seats, travel days, and markets are limited, it is always a good idea to see if you could save money with a sale. Is that a bat? Who is that mysterious caped figure? Vampire Stitch has arrived! Stitch is here! Disney has released several new Halloween-themed popcorn buckets this spooky season, but there’s arguably been none more anticipated than Vampire Stitch. This adorable version of Experiment 626 comes decked out in a “fang-tastic” traditional vampire Halloween costume – – think traditional Dracula – – and is holding a jack-o-lantern, presumably for trick-or-treating. We have the full scoop on where you can get ahold of this new souvenir — let’s talk about it. The highly-anticipated Vampire Stitch popcorn bucket debuted around the Disneyland Resort on September 12th, and we can verify it’s just as cute in person as it is in photos. Stitch has arrived Unsurprisingly, there was large demand… Lines! …though Disney seemed relatively prepared. That’s a lot of Stitch The bucket is available at several spots around Disneyland Resort, including the Snack Cart in Tomorrowland, where you can get it with cotton candy instead of popcorn. Cotton Candy anyone? Pro-Tip: You can also Mobile Order a Stitch bucket for pickup at the Hollywood Lounge located within California Adventure. ©Disney The mobile-ordered version comes with a bag of chips. Stitch with chips If you’re not going to make it out to Disneyland anytime soon, you’ll also be able to find the Vampire Stitch popcorn bucket on the high seas! If you’ve ever been to EPCOT’s Food & Wine Festival, you know that eating your way around the world is basically a rite of passage! EPCOT Food & Wine Festival I mean, truly, all the food booths have something delicious to offer, but there has been one glaring issue that keeps hindering the experience. We haven’t seen Disney fix it yet, so that means we’ve gotta talk about it! As we were saying, the food has been great at EPCOT’s Food & Wine Festival, but there’s been this glaring and nagging issue that Disney just hasn’t fixed and it’s threatening to ruin our collective experiences. Disney, if you’re listening, “Where are all the tables??” EPCOT Food & Wine Festival We noticed early on Day 1 of this year’s festival that it was clear there was a serious lack of places to actually sit and enjoy your food. Many of us were immediately wondering how we were supposed to fully savor our festival treats when we’ve got to awkwardly balance our plates on trash cans? And if the trash cans are already taken, we’re left to stand in some random corner all while juggling a drink, food, and trying not to drop anything? (Raise your hand if you can relate.) Strawberry Basil Cocktail: Beefeater Pink Strawberry Gin, St-Germain Elderflower Liqueur, Seagram’s Ginger Ale, with strawberry and basil syrups Now, fast forward 15 days into the festival and guess what? At this point, Disney still hasn’t done a thing about it. No new tables have magically appeared, and we’re still doing a balancing act to eat at one of the most popular festivals of the year. Dark Chocolate Fondue with berries, pound cake, and meringues To be fair, there are a few scattered standing tables here and there, but finding one open feels like winning the lottery. It’s pretty frustrating, especially when you’re just trying to relax between bites and enjoy the park’s vibes. Cheddar Cheese and Bacon Soup served with a pretzel roll Now, don’t get me wrong. I love EPCOT, and the Food & Wine Festival is an absolute must for any Disney foodie, but you’d think after all these years of hosting this massive event, Disney would get the memo that people actually want to sit (or at least have a decent table) while enjoying their eats. The demand for tables is painfully clear. All you need to do is just take a look at the crowds trying to claim a spot. Filet Mignon with mushrooms, Boursin Garlic & Fine Herbs mashed potatoes, and Boursin Garlic & Fine Herbs butter So, here we are, two weeks in, still balancing gourmet snacks on garbage cans like it’s a normal thing. It’s time to grab your jack-o’-lanterns because “Disney Halloween Time” at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort has returned for happy hauntings September 13 through October 31, 2024. There’s no better way to celebrate this bone-chilling season than uncovering experiences that’ll make you scream with excitement! Visit New Limited-time Disney Hero and Villain Duos For the first time ever at Hong Kong Disneyland, a variety of Disney heroes and villains will make appearances in pairs for a limited time this Halloween season. You can find your favorite duos from Walt Disney Animation Studios classics like the Queen and Snow White from “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,” Maleficent and Aurora from “Sleeping Beauty” and Jasmine and Jafar from “Aladdin.” Mickey and Friends along with Duffy and Friends will also appear in their fang-tastic Halloween attire throughout Hong Kong Disneyland for some adorable photos as they get into the spirit of the season. The Unnerving Return of House of De Vil-lains and “Let’s Get Wicked” The villainous fashionista, Cruella de Vil, from Disney Animation’s “One Hundred and One Dalmatians,” is once again hosting the House of De Vil-lains with Disney Villains like the Queen, Hades from “Hercules,” the Queen of Hearts from “Alice in Wonderland” and more! Along with these characters, a new cohort of Disney Animation sidekicks are debuting including the Queen’s Raven Bird, Hades’ Pain and Panic, the Queen of Hearts’ Card Soldiers, and Yzma’s Kronk from “The Emperor’s New Groove.” This wickedly fun party invites you to party alongside your favorite Disney Villain as you experience the Halloween bash full of heart-pounding music, villain-inspired projections and artistic villain-themed installations. This week marked a magical milestone for 19 wish children and their families from Make-A-Wish and other wish-granting organizations, as we welcomed a courageous group of young Padawans for the first-ever, multi-day Star Wars-themed wish event at Disneyland Resort – Blaze Your Path: A Star Wars Adventure. Star Wars Adventure Wish Party Brings Beloved Stories to Life on Batuu Children across the globe are captivated by the power of The Force and the magic of Star Wars. For wish children especially, the Jedi can be powerful symbols of hope and courage. If there’s one word that could describe us Disney fans, doesn’t it feel like it would be “passionate”? EPCOT I mean, our love for the parks runs deep, and when something changes at Disney World, it can feel like a personal attack on our childhood memories. It doesn’t help that at the moment, there are a whole host of confirmed changes coming over the next few years. So before we get all worked up, let’s take a step back and breathe, and talk about why these changes might not be the end of the world — and why we should all chill just a little. As we were saying, with all the changes lined up for Disney World, it’s enough to get us Disney fans really buzzing (and maybe grumbling), but before we do all that, let’s take a second to breathe and talk about why these changes might be much better than we think. Disney Is All About Change If there’s one thing Walt Disney himself taught us, it’s that the parks are never truly finished. He once said, “Disneyland will never be completed. It will continue to grow as long as there is imagination left in the world,” and that same sentiment can definitely apply to Walt Disney World. ©Disney It’s true that every generation of park-goers has seen some changes over the years. Do we miss some of the old attractions? Sure. But it’s those same changes that keep the parks fresh and exciting, for both us and future Disney fans. So, maybe instead of clinging to nostalgia and never letting go, how about we embrace the new memories that are just waiting to be made? Fresh Stories, Fresh Lands Look, we love Tom Sawyer Island as much as the next Disney fan, but I think it’s fair to ask ourselves, “How often do we actually go there?” A lot of the newer generations have grown up with Cars and Monsters, Inc. and have no idea of the backstory of Tom Sawyer Island. Tom Sawyer Island It makes sense that Disney would want to revamp some underused areas to keep them relevant. The changes that they’re planning are more than just aesthetic. They’re about storytelling, and who does that better than Disney? Plus, if the success of Cars Land at Disneyland, is any indication, this new one coming to Magic Kingdom is going to be a masterpiece! The Muppets Aren’t Going Anywhere (Hopefully) We get it. There’s a special place in our hearts for the Muppets. They’re weird, nostalgic, and fun. Now, while the rumors about Monsters, Inc. potentially replacing Muppets Courtyard have sparked a lot of concern in us, it’s not like the Muppets are going to be erased from Disney altogether. Muppet Courtyard in Hollywood Studios More than likely, they’ll still exist in some form in the parks and on Disney+ even if Muppets Courtyard goes like the dodos. And again, that totally might not even happen at all. Change = More Magic Truthfully, Disney’s changes, whether big or small, usually end up being fantastic. For example, we all cried when The Great Movie Ride closed, but nowadays we all think Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway is an absolute blast. Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway Sure, Cars Land and Monsters, Inc. might feel like Disney’s trying to fit a round peg into a square whole now, but I think we should give them a chance. Who knows? In a few years time, we might find ourselves saying something like, “Hey, remember when we were upset about this?” Chill, It’s Still Disney In the end, it’s totally okay to feel that pang of sadness when parts of the parks change, but instead of dwelling on what’s going away, let’s get excited about what’s coming. Picture this. You’re seated in a roller coaster ride vehicle. You’ve got a mission to save the galaxy. Your Starjumper vehicle is heading up the hill. You’re going through a jump point to space. No one’s gonna stop rock and roll from existing. Wait. I think we’re jumping back. Darkness. Cosmic Rewind Did you follow all that? We’re talking about the Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind ride in EPCOT. This ride is SO much fun, and Disney fans love that collective *hold your breath and wait for the launch* moment, complete with the big reveal when you blast off and find out what song will play as you zoom through space. Ugh. It’s fantastic. Oh, yes. On September 21st, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will play ONE song for the entire day. Listen for “September” by Earth Wind and Fire if you visit the park! You know, before too long, we’re actually going to be getting a whole Cars Land in Magic Kingdom!! Magic Kingdom Now that we’ve had a bit of time to breathe since the D23 2024: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event and the announcement of the new Cars Land, we wanted to do a deep dive into the concept art and see if we could glean some info about the new rides that’ll be coming to Disney World! As we were saying, Disney shared their concept art for the new Cars Land which will be replacing Tom Sawyer Island and the Rivers of America in Frontierland at Magic Kingdom. At the moment, there hasn’t been an official timeline for when the Cars expansion will open, but Disney already confirmed that work on the area will begin in early 2025. Also, we saw that the first permits were filed in August 2024 to start the process. ©Disney We did get the news that this new land will bring with it two NEW Cars attractions! For the first attraction, we’re going to race through the mountains on wild terrain along mountain trails as we dodge geysers and splash through mud holes. The second ride will be geared toward “smaller racers” and will be fun for the whole family! Now, let’s have a closer look at some of the concept art for the new land and see what we can learn about the new rides! First things first, by our best guess, these two areas would appear to be the two different rides. We’ll dub the red circled space as the more “intense” ride and the yellow space as the “family friendly” one. ©Disney Starting with the more intense of the two, here’s what the ride path could potentially be. The circle is indicating the “Start” banner. ©Disney Shortly after the takeoff, it looks like we’ll be entering some kind of a cave system for a bit before turning back and heading onwards. ©Disney Now, the ride sounds like it will be quite immersive, which has us wondering if when we head to this mountain area, will we be experiencing some atmospheric elements like fog, snow, and the like? ©Disney In yellow, it looks like all the cars are lined up at the starting line, which indicates to us that the red circled building must be the show building where we’ll queue up and load/unload from the ride. ©Disney Now, moving on to the more “family-friendly” ride at the “top” of the concept art, this was a bit more difficult trying to figure out the potential path for the ride, but here’s a best guess. ©Disney This particular building where we can see Lightning and Tow Mater, looks to be the same area as in other concept art. ©Disney Here’s that other art, for reference: ©Disney It’s probably safe to assume that for both attractions, the ride vehicles will be on some sort of track like what we have at the Tomorrowland Speedway. Tomorrowland Speedway If that’s the case, I wonder how “exhilarating” these rides will be when thinking about the speed and maneuverability. There is nothing exciting about this Back to the concept art for the Cars Land. Now is a great time to be a fan of Disney Cruise Line! Whether you’ve been sailing with Disney for a while or are just now considering dipping your toes into the water, there are lots of things you might need to know. Disney Cruise Ship In addition to its current fleet, Disney Cruise Line has four more ships currently in the works — and has announced that it will be adding another four ships over the next decade as well. But, if you’re getting ready to set sail with Disney, there’s been an important policy change you need to know about! Disney Cruise Line has updated its documentation policy for all sailings. Effective immediately, guests who do not use a passport to board will need to show an original birth certificate. Photocopies and hospital-issued birth certificates are no longer accepted. Disney Cruise Ship docked at Lookout Cay According to WESH news, guests with upcoming reservations received an email advising them of this change, which you can read below: “For round trip sailings departing from the U.S., guests using a birth certificate as citizenship documentation are reminded that only an original state-issued birth certificate is acceptable. Guests 16 years of age and older are also required to present a physical government-issued photo ID. Children 15 years of age and younger will need to present an original state-issued birth certificate but do not need to present a government-issued photo ID. Photocopies of birth certificates will not be accepted.” Disney Wish Disney has varying guidelines for what additional travel documentation may be needed depending on departure and arrival ports, but all sailings require US citizens to have a valid passport, passport card, or as of now, an original birth certificate. Make sure you double-check what’s required of you documentation-wise before you set sail so you don’t run into any hiccups. Don’t Go Into Your Cruise Without Any Knowledge! In the past, Disney has accepted photocopies of birth certificates to verify citizenship for both adults and children, but that is no longer the case moving forward. If you’ve got an upcoming cruise with Disney, make sure you have the proper documentation for all travelers in your party! We hear some crazy confessions from celebrities sometimes. Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway Sometimes it’s totally relatable and it’s exactly why we love them, but other times it leaves us scratching our heads and letting out a loud ‘HUH’? And we think this might take the cake. We love pop culture as much as the next person and we’re always keeping tabs on the latest celebrity news. However, it wasn’t in our 2024 Bingo card to have Quentin Tarantino and Toy Story both mentioned in the same headline. Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios Quentin Tarantino is a famous filmmaker well known for classic blockbusters such as Kill Bill and Pulp Fiction. He continues to direct and create hit movies and is very successful in the industry. But Quentin Tarantino has recently revealed a shocking confession that we just can’t wrap our heads around, given that he’s such a lover of films: He’s NEVER seen Toy Story 4! Getty Images Tarantino has been quoted as saying, “The third one is one of the best movies I’ve ever seen… I have no desire to see the fourth one. You ended the story as perfect as you could, so I don’t care if it’s good, I’m done.” Toy Story 4 Although we are totally SHOCKED that Quentin Tarantino hasn’t seen the fourth installment in the Toy Story series, we honestly understand where he’s coming from. The third film is totally awesome and if he thinks that’s as far as he wants to go with the series, then who are we to truly judge? We do wonder what he thinks of the recent confirmation of Toy Story 5 back at D23, however. Could that possibly change his mind? Buzz Lightyear announces ‘Toy Story 5’! All in all, we appreciate the famed filmmaker’s bold confession and respect his point. We know that when Disney dining comes to mind, the parks might be the first place you think of. But trust us when we say that there’s no better place to turn to than Disney Springs! Disney Springs Disney Springs is jam-packed with so many delicious and unique eateries, and the best part is that it’s without the hustle and bustle you’ll encounter at the parks. So if you’re looking for yummy eats with a chill vibe, Disney Springs is the place to go. And because that’s exactly what we were in the mood for, we went to Disney Springs to try one of our personal favorites: Wine Bar George! Wine Bar George is both a wine bar and restaurant owned by Master Sommelier George Miliotes, who you can often time spot mingling with guests and assisting in serving them throughout the restaurant. It is the only Master Sommelier-owned wine bar in the state of Florida, which is quite the feat. With that information alone, you can bet that expectations are high when dining at Wine Bar George, so we went back to check if it still deserves a spot as one of our favorite restaurants to dine in at Disney Springs. Atmosphere Wine Bar George boasts a stylish, industrial chic aesthetic that feels really modern and classy. The wood furniture and hanging light bulbs really give it that fresh and hip twist to a style that feels fitting for a wine bar-themed restaurant. Standard Tables and Chairs Seating is also available at the bar upstairs, where tons of wine bottles and glasses are showcased, as well as outdoor seating with a nice view of Disney Springs. The staff immediately greets you upon entering the restaurant and the service continues to be stellar and friendly from the moment you sit down at your table to the moment you walk out the door. Wine Bar George upstairs dining room On the tables, you’ll find a paper napkin with utensils, and, if you’re like us, the excitement for the meal is real at this point. Time to dine in! So let’s see what’s on the menu! Menu Along with a QR code that you can scan on the table, you’re handed a paper menu highlighting all the drinks and dishes you can order. Wine Bar George has a menu that changes depending on the time you dine in, with different offerings available for lunch and dinner. Menu This time, we decided to try a couple of their small plates as well as their seasonal cocktail offering. Drinks During our trip, we ordered their seasonal cocktail Endless Vacation for $16. The cocktail was created with hibiscus-infused rum, Rocky’s liqueur, and grapefruit honey cordial. While sipping on this beautifully colored drink, we realized that the honey is very prominent in the taste, with the herbal flavors being more of an undertone. There are hints of grapefruit, but we wouldn’t exactly label this as a fruity drink Endless Vacation Definitely refreshing, however, and a very fun mix of flavors. Wine Bar Geroge’s cocktails change throughout the season, so this particular cocktail may not be available on their menu as this was their summer Cocktail of the Moment. Eats On to my personal favorite part of the dinner: The food! The first dish we ordered was the Burrata for $19. This dish consists of heirloom tomatoes, fresh corn, and local sourdough. Burrata The Burrata was so fresh and tasty, truly the perfect appetizer to share (although not gonna lie, I would have had no problem scarfing this down all by myself). We’re still dreaming about this dish! The burrata was fluffy and so tasty when eaten with the tomatoes and corn. Every bite tasted incredible and the sourdough was perfectly toasted. This was a definite win for us and we loved how it was very satisfying without feeling too heavy. A great start to the meal! Next up was the Fried Gnocchi which is made with toasted garlic, pecorino cheese, and chili oil. This plate is priced at $12. Fried Gnocchi This was s a very fun dish and we love the unique twist on gnocchi. This dish has all the pros of fried food without any of the cons, such as being too greasy or feeling too heavy. Fluffy cheesy goodness The spice from the chili oil was notable but not overwhelming, and it gave it a nice quick that pairs well with the garlic and cheese. The pecorino is absolutely delicious and it’s a great fried dish alternative if you want to try something other than their crispy mac & cheese bites (another one of our faves). Let’s keep this food review going with an order of Black Mussels. These come with roasted onion broth, crispy chorizo, and grilled focaccia, and are priced at $18. This was definitely a dish where you should pair everything on the plate together for a bite. It was heavenly! Black Mussels The chorizo and the onion broth really added a bright flavor to the mussels, which masked that overall fishy taste it usually has on its own, and was perfect to top the focaccia with. Even though I’m not a huge fan of mussels, this paring was just the thing to have me on board. The crispy chorizo was definitely the stand-out in this dish, perfectly cooked and deliciously savory. Such a fun pairing and a great seafood dish. And the last edition to our small plates, the New Zealand Lamb Chops that come prepared with black garlic purée, salted onions, and herb vinaigrette. This plate is priced at $28. New Zealand Lamb Chops One word: YUM! The lamb chops were tender and the salted onions and herb vinaigrette really elevated this dish, taking it to a whole new level taste-wise. The seasoning on the lamb truly was outstanding, and that garlic puree was just the thing to make our taste buds sing. Soooo tender The meat was cooked so well, making the cutting process smooth, as if it were butter. The paring of the vinaigrette and greens just made it taste so fresh and eliminated any heavy meat feeling afterward. This dish truly felt classy and modern while remaining fun; everything we adore about Wine Bar George. And what’s a meal without dessert? Of course, we had to order the One Big Profiterole for $10. This dessert consists of Pâte à Choux, vanilla cream, and dark chocolate. One Big Profiterole Now the One Big Profiterole doesn’t get its name for nothing: it’s BIG. But one other word it should add to its name is ‘delicious’! The pastry shell was doughy and soft and drizzled with a rich chocolate sauce. The vanilla cream was stuffed inside of the pastry and was sweet and reminded us of melted French vanilla ice cream in the best way. A dessert dream A perfectly light dessert that doesn’t leave you feeling too stuffed afterward. While normally we would skip dessert here and suggest you try all of the other dessert locations at Disney Springs, we think this one is definitely worth ordering due to how unique and tasty it is, along with a pretty fair price tag. Overall Wine Bar George has once again proven that it is a tried and true favorite. We loved everything we had and the staff truly went above and beyond to make it such a nice environment to dine in. Good food and great vibes are truly the way to our hearts so we will continue to recommend Wine Bar Geoge as a great pick if you’re headed to Disney Springs. Although it can be a little pricier compared to other options, the quality is truly astounding and we always have a great time dining here. Wine Bar George Nosh or Not You should stop by Wine Bar George if: You’re looking for a more Adult-oriented restaurant at Disney World – Kids are definitely allowed at Wine Bar Geroge and there’s even a kid’s menu, but the atmosphere of the restaurant feels more mature than other establishments. It’s a great spot to relax and enjoy a glass of wine with your friends while sharing a couple of apps. If you’re looking for a new date night spot – Wine Bar George is an awesome pick for date night. It’s got a laid-back, adult vibe without feeling uptight or formal. There’s a ton of tasty dishes perfect for sharing, plus plenty of drink options to keep things fun. It’s great to snack and chat. You’re looking for unique eats – Wine Bar George truly deserves all the praise it gets. The food is top-notch and creative and a huge reason as to why we suggest Disney Springs for dining. If you’re looking for unique eats outside of the park, this is the place to go. You should skip Wine Bar George if: You’re looking for a cheaper meal at Disney World – Although Wine Bar Geroge’s prices are nothing compared to other signature Disney dining locations, we won’t lie and say that it’s the most wallet-friendly option. One plate can easily cost you $20+ and if you’re trying to dine on a budget, this isn’t going to be the best option for you. If you’re traveling with kiddos – Although they do offer a kids menu, as we stated, Wine Bar George has a mature atmosphere that won’t really entertain kids or make them particularly excited to eat here.
