  1. We’ve been thinking a lot about Disney World food recently — okay, we lie, we think about Disney World food ALL the time. That’s how we got here! Vegan Spicy Falafel Pocket from Starbucks/Main Street Bakery We have been looking forward to the rest of the year, though, and filling you in on our must-have foods for 2025. We’re also looking forward to the EPCOT Festival of the Arts starting soon, which will bring a variety of food booths and TONS of art-inspired food and drinks (and we are STOKED). However, we’re also starting to see more restaurant menu changes come in (it got quiet there for a while during the holidays…), so we want to make sure you stay updated on those, too. 2. It’s no secret that a LOT has changed in Disney World over the last several years. Disney Springs The EPCOT transformation finally came to an end, while Magic Kingdom is about to go through a massive expansion. Muppets Courtyard in Disney’s Hollywood Studios for a new Monsters, Inc. land, while Dinoland, U.S.A. is closing in Disney’s Animal Kingdom to make way for Pueblo Esperanza. Disney Springs has seen some changes recently, too, and the newest map is proof of just how much the shopping and dining district has changed. We recently grabbed the latest map of Disney Springs just to track some of the changes that have happened since the last map was released (which we believe was around April 2024). Disney Springs guidemap So here’s an overall look of the inside of the map now. Full map Okay, so here’s what’s changed. When we look at the list of stores, Star Wars Trading Post is no longer listed — the store closed in October 2024. The building hosted a Santa meet and greet, though, over the holiday season. Sanuk has also been removed. — that store closed in August 2024. Two new stores, Pure Vida and OluKai, have been added. Ever After Jewelry has been removed from the Jewelry section list with its name change, Disney Ever After, now listed under Home Decor, Gifts, & Specialty. We also noticed that Disney Tails is no longer listed with Marketplace Co-Op. Listings Disney PhotoPass Studios used to be listed under “Unique Entertainment,” but now it’s in the “Guest Services” part of the guide. The PhotoPass Studio is now under Guest Services The Mobile Checkout icon has been removed from Super Hero Headquarters. Super Hero Headquarters no longer seems to have Mobile Check-out The Mobile Order icon was also removed from Disney Candy Cauldron. No Mobile Order for Disney Candy Cauldron So, yes, a lot of things have changed in Disney Springs over the past year. We’re likely to see even more changes because Disney World is ALWAYS changing, and we’ll keep you updated, so stay tuned to DFB for more. What’s NEW in Disney Springs for 2025? 4. You should be prepared for some rain when you go to Disney World! Magic Kingdom We know it rains often because we go to Disney World every day, but we don’t want that to ruin our day. Of course, we have our basic rainy day essentials, but this new item we’ve tried will be sticking with us and we had to share about it. DISCLOSURE: This post may contain affiliate links, meaning when you click the links and make a purchase, we receive a commission. Now you’ve probably thought of bringing a rain jacket, umbrella, or even a poncho with you to Disney World. But what about protecting your shoes? Having to walk around with soaking wet shoes can cause blisters and is just not a fun thing to do when you have miles to walk. But, we found a solution! Flooding in Disney World The $17 Rain Day Essential Will Can’t Go Without! Silicone Waterproof Shoe Covers These Shiwely Silicone Waterproof Shoe Covers we ordered from Amazon are probably our favorite find. We chose this bright neon blue color, but they come in 7 different colors. The shoe covers are made of a stretchy silicon material that is grooved at the bottom for extra grip support and are secured around your shoe when you zip them up. We were ready to try these out We found them to be easy to slip on! You’ll make sure the zipper is unzipped while fitting your shoe into the cover and pulling it out and around the button sole. The first time we slipped them on they were new to us so it took some readjusting to get the fitting just right where the grooves were secured around the sides and bottom of the shoe. One of our reporters putting them on Our reporters wore these things all day and they ended up loving them. Not only did they protect them from the falling rain, but when they encountered puddles that we quite literally jumped into to splash and had no trouble at all with the water getting into their shoes. Great fit! We do recommend ordering a size up for a comfier fit! While these do a good job, they’re not 100% foolproof. If you’ve got an open gape to the top, you’re leaving room for the rain to get in. Our reporters noticed that when you walked against the rain instead of with it, they could tell the rain was getting in. Our reporters love them! Overall, this made our trip to the parks better. With as often as it rains in Florida and to keep from having to deal with wet smelly shoes during your trip, this could make such a difference! We will be keeping these in our park bags from now on. 6. If you’ve been dreaming of strolling around the World Showcase or Main Street, U.S.A. without bumping into a sea of Mickey ears, 2025 might just be your year. It’s relatively empty! With big changes on the horizon for Disney and a few key trends shaping travel habits, some weeks this year could be as close to “empty” as Disney World gets. Here’s why and when you might want to plan your visit. Why 2025 Could Be the Year of Empty Parks Let’s start with the big picture. Disney has been navigating a few challenges lately: The Decline of Revenge Travel: Post-pandemic revenge travel is officially over. People aren’t as eager to splurge on trips after years of cabin fever. Construction Chaos: 2025 is a transition year for Disney World, with major projects underway that won’t debut until 2026 or later. While the promise of new attractions is exciting, many people may choose to hold off on visiting until the dust settles – literally. Price Fatigue: Disney’s prices have been creeping higher and higher, from park tickets to popcorn. Many families are feeling priced out and opting for other vacation options. Epic Universe Opening: Universal Orlando’s new park, Epic Universe, opens on May 22, 2025, and it’s a massive draw. With Harry Potter, Nintendo, and other major franchises, many theme park fans will prioritize Universal over Disney for their next trip. ©Universal Combine all this, and Disney World in 2025 could have noticeably lighter crowds during certain weeks. The Best Weeks to Visit Disney World in 2025 Here are the weeks we think will feel shockingly quiet compared to Disney World’s usual buzz: The First Week of March: By this time, the post-holiday travel lull is still going strong. The weather in Florida is a dream – mild and breezy – but spring break hasn’t started yet. Ticket prices are reasonable, crowds are manageable, and you’ll have plenty of space to enjoy EPCOT’s early spring vibes. Lower crowds in early March The Weeks After Easter (April – Early May): Easter lands on April 20th in 2025, and the weeks immediately following the holiday are golden. Spring break crowds will have dispersed, and summer vacationers haven’t arrived yet. Plus, EPCOT’s Flower and Garden Festival is in full bloom, making it a fantastic time to visit. Flower and Garden Festival Late May (Around Epic Universe’s Opening) Universal’s Epic Universe opens on May 22, 2025, and it’s going to be a massive event. Harry Potter fans, Nintendo enthusiasts, and thrill-seekers will flock to Universal, leaving Disney World noticeably quieter for a couple of weeks. If you’ve ever wanted to experience Disney while it feels (almost) deserted, this might be your best chance. The Portal leading to The Ministry of Magic ©Universal The Last Week of August: Florida schools are back in session by late August, and many other states have followed suit. This is prime time for light crowds and some of the year’s lowest ticket prices. Sure, it’s hurricane season, but Disney is well-prepared for storms, and the tradeoff is thinner crowds and shorter wait times. No one around Early to Mid-November: This is one of the best-kept secrets for Disney fans. You’ll catch both Halloween and Christmas decorations during this transition period. Crowds are lighter, the weather is cooler, and ticket prices haven’t hit their holiday highs yet. Very empty here! The First Two Weeks of December: Want to soak up the holiday magic without dealing with the chaos? Early December is your sweet spot. You’ll see all the festive decorations and special events but without the crowds that descend closer to Christmas. Cooler weather also makes park-hopping more enjoyable. It’s that time of year! What to Expect During These “Empty” Weeks While Disney World is never truly empty, visiting during these low-crowd weeks has some major perks: Shorter Wait Times: Some of your favorite attractions will have much more manageable queues. Better Dining Availability: Snag those hard-to-get reservations at Space 220 or Cinderella’s Royal Table with less hassle. Lower Prices: Ticket and hotel rates tend to dip during these weeks, especially in late August. A More Relaxed Atmosphere: Fewer people means less hustle and bustle, giving you more time to soak in the magic without feeling rushed. Should You Wait Until 2026? If you’re a die-hard Disney fan, you might be tempted to wait for all the big projects debuting in 2026. But 2025 has plenty to offer, especially with new attractions like the Pirates of the Caribbean Tavern, Spaceship Earth Lounge, and the reimagined Test Track opening throughout the year. ©Disney That said, if you want to experience Disney at its absolute best – with brand-new lands, attractions, and shows – 2026 might be the better bet. 7. Okay, I am a BIG Haunted Mansion fan, as well as a BIG Disneyland fan, so imagine my excitement when I learned that the Haunted Mansion in Disneyland was getting a brand new queue and gift shop (honestly, both were greatly needed). The new gift shop So when the queue recently opened, I had a chance to look through all the photos, and it looks pretty cool. I like how it’s different from the queue in Disney World (because if they were the same, that would be BORING). Then the new gift shop, Madame Leota’s Somewhere Beyond, opened, and well, let’s just say, something felt off…Then I started seeing a lot of discussion online about some of the decor INSIDE the shop, and well, let’s just say you can find some of it (or similar items) on Amazon… No, really! DISCLOSURE: This post may contain affiliate links, meaning when you click the links and make a purchase, we receive a commission. By the way, if you don’t have Amazon Prime, but would like to score free shipping, sign up for a free trial by clicking on the banner below. Some of the online controversy surrounding the gift shop is that its exterior literally looks like a prefab shed from Home Depot. However, things get even more interesting when you look inside…that’s because some of the decor seems to have come from Amazon. But, hey, that’s kind of a good thing because now YOU can decorate your house with stuff from Madame Leota’s shop. First, we’re going to start with the veiled bust figure that you can see in one of the displays in the shop. You can see it on the left in the photo below. Well, it’s on Amazon. That exact bust. ©Disney Toscano Veiled Maiden Indoor Bust ©Amazon Yes, you, too, can have this slightly creepy veiled maiden bust to add to your home decor to make it seem a little more like the gift shop next to the home with 999 Happy Haunts. In case you were wondering, it’s based on an original sculpture from the 1800s. Buy on Amazon There’s also a figure you’ll find on one of the shelves of a ghost having tea. Well, a very similar figure is on Amazon, too. Here it is in the shop (it’s there on the bottom right). Ghost with tea Get the Spill The Tea Statue ©Amazon If you’re a fan of fantasy novels, you might realize that this looks a lot like the Suriel character from the book series A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas. So yes, you can find a very similar figure on Amazon, and here it is. It’s actually wild how close this is to the figure in the shop. Buy on Amazon Get the Flameless Candles ©Amazon Okay, so these aren’t identical to what you’d find in the Haunted Mansion gift shop, but they’re close. Might as well add a few extra touches to your decor, right? These flameless candles will add an ancient and spooky vibe to any room. They even look like they have wax melting down their sides. Buy on Amazon So head on over to Amazon to grab some Haunted Mansion gift shop-like decor NOW! Yeah, I can’t believe some of this stuff looks like it came from Amazon, but hey, at least you can own it, too! 8. If you’re a true Disney adult, you know the magic doesn’t just happen – it’s planned! Magic Kingdom! From festivals to after-hours events, Disney’s annual calendar is packed with can’t-miss moments. While Disney hasn’t officially announced all of the dates for everything coming in 2025 yet, we’ve done the sleuthing for you. Here are six key dates you should already have penciled into your planner. EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival (Late July or Early August–November) Let’s be real: Food & Wine Festival is practically a lifestyle for Disney adults. This culinary and cultural celebration is THE crown jewel of EPCOT festivals, and we’re expecting it to kick off in late July or early August, based on previous years. 2024 EPCOT Food and Wine Festival Passport Last year, it started on August 29th and ran through November 23rd, so block out those dates and get ready to sip, snack, and stroll around the world. Whether you’re a “try one item from every booth” purist or you’re there just for the merch (I see you themed Spirit Jerseys), this festival is a must. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (Early August–October 31st) Spooky season officially starts in the middle of summer at Disney, and we’re not mad about it. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party typically begins in early August and runs through Halloween night. Last year, it started on August 11th, so we’re betting on a similar timeline for 2025. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party This family-friendly after-hours event means trick-or-treating in the park, exclusive character meet-and-greets, and that can’t-miss “Boo-to-You” Parade. We recommend booking your tickets early, especially if you’re planning to visit in September or October. The closer you get to Halloween, the faster those dates sell out. Disney H2O Glow Nights (Late May–Late August) Nothing screams summer like H2O Glow Nights at Typhoon Lagoon. These neon-drenched nighttime pool parties are perfect for beating the Florida heat while soaking up the fun. Last year, the event kicked off on May 25th and ran through August 31st, so it should be safe to assume similar dates for 2025. H2O Glow After Hours Expect shorter lines for slides, themed drinks, and a DJ dance party under the stars. If you’ve never been, this is your sign to make it a summer tradition. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party (Early November–December 20th) As soon as the pumpkins are packed away, it’s time for Christmas magic! Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party transforms Magic Kingdom into a winter wonderland with holiday treats, snowfall on Main Street, and the festive “Once Upon a Christmastime Parade.” 2024 Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party This event typically begins in early November—last year, the first party was on November 8th—and runs through December 20th. If you’re dreaming of shorter lines and less hustle, we’d recommend aiming for the earlier dates in November. EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays (Late November–December 30th) Who doesn’t love a little festive storytelling with their Disney magic? The EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays features the famous Candlelight Processional, holiday kitchens, and celebrations from around the world. EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays! In 2024, the festival started on November 29th, and in 2023, it launched a bit earlier on November 24th. This year, we’re guessing it’ll fall somewhere in that same range. If you’re planning to visit during Thanksgiving weekend or early December, this event is a must for cozy vibes and holiday cheer. Disney Jollywood Nights (Mid-November–Mid-December) In recent years, Hollywood Studios introduced a new holiday after-hours event, and brings glitzy, vintage holiday charm to the park, complete with themed entertainment, unique character meet-and-greets, and exclusive food and drink options. Jollywood Nights In 2024, Jollywood Nights ran from November 9th to December 21st, so we’re anticipating a similar schedule for 2025. If you’re more “Tinseltown” than “gingerbread and cocoa,” this might just be your new favorite holiday tradition. Twilight Soiree As we were saying, if you’re a TRUE Disney adult, you know the drill: mark those calendars, start budgeting for those exclusive snacks, and don’t forget to set your alarms for ticket releases. In the meantime, we’ll be on the lookout for the latest news from Disney World. So make sure you stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog so you don’t miss any important announcements! 9. Many Disney fans have heard of rope dropping. The term rope drop can mean different things for different people, but typically, rope dropping is when you are in the park, past the turnstiles, BEFORE the park opens. Hollywood Studios at Rope Drop Usually, people arrive about an hour before the park opens to ensure that they are at the rope in front of each of the lands. You will hear a lot about rope dropping on your Disney trip and how it might be worth it. But, we are here to hold your hand and tell you some hard truths about rope dropping that others might not tell you. It Will Be Crowded Don’t make the mistake of thinking that it won’t be crowded if you hit the parks early. Many other guests are trying to maximize their vacation and they are up bright and early too. When you are rope dropping, you are still grouped together in crowds waiting for Disney to officially open the park so be prepared for that. Lots of folks are ready to go at rope drop! You will probably still have to wait to scan into the park or wait in line at security. You can expect some crowds, especially around peak travel seasons like spring break week and the holidays. Many guests are also going to those same popular rides so be prepared to walk with a large group of people and potentially still wait in a queue. Crowds at rope drop in Hollywood Studios You’ll Want To Set That Alarm Earlier Than You Thought If you are staying on Disney property and plan on utilizing their transportation, you will want to account for extra time in traveling to the park to make sure you are there before rope drop happens. If you are taking the bus to the park, make sure you plan for potentially waiting for another bus to come as buses can fill up to capacity. The buses begin picking up guests from their resort 45 minutes to one hour before the park opens, so set your alarm early. Disney Bus If you are taking the Skyliner, there is usually a long line for these as well. It typically moves quickly, but you’ll want to plan for extra time. Usually, the Skyliner begins running about 90 minutes before the scheduled theme park opening time. Skyliner at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort You Might Be Hungry Sometimes the parks open at 8 AM, with Disney World Resort guests able to enter 30 minutes before the park officially opens. With travel time, you might be leaving your hotel before you can grab breakfast. If you are planning on grabbing food, you’ll want to plan ahead. The breakfast bowl! There aren’t a lot of options for a quick breakfast in the morning, especially during Early Theme Park Entry. You’ll want to check the MyDisney App to see which locations are open. You also might not want to stop to grab breakfast if you are rope-dropping until after you ride your first ride. We suggest packing a snack or your own breakfast to hold you over until you get time to grab something at the park. Full breakfast spread at Satu’li Canteen You Don’t Have to Rope Drop If you are purchasing Lightning Lane Multi Pass or Premier Pass, you could consider skipping rope dropping. By using these services, you can often experience attractions more quickly making rope dropping unnecessary. We suggest booking your first Lightning Lane reservation 2 hours after the park opens. This will not only give you time to sleep in, but it will allow for those initial crowds to slow down. Flight of Passage Of course, you can rope drop still and it’s very popular. We want to help you plan for a better Disney World trip. For more Disney World tips and tricks, follow us at DFB. Join the DFB Newsletter to get all the breaking news right in your inbox! 10. Not all that glitters is gold, especially when it comes to expensive dining at Disney World. Hollywood Studios We have our list of favorite restaurants and we often revisit these places to see if the quality holds up. Disney World restaurants change all the time, and sometimes that means a dip in quality. Unfortunately, this might be the case at one such restaurant in Disney’s Hollywood Studios — and that’s extra disappointing given its price tag. Before we list some cons about this restaurant, we must preface this argument by saying the feelings aren’t quite universal. In fact, we’ve had our fair share of pleasant experiences here. In fact, we left with a positive impression during our most recent review. With that said, other guest reception is mixed at best and some members of the DFB team feel food quality isn’t living up to the price tag or standard this restaurant used to have. But enough beating around the bush — next time you visit Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you might want to consider skipping Hollywood & Vine Restaurant. Hollywood & Vine Hollywood & Vine offers a full Buffet for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner and is especially notable since it features the presence of Disney characters. Meet Playhouse Disney Characters such as Fancy Nancy, Vampirina, Doc McStuffins, and Roadster Goofy during the a la carte Disney Junior Play ‘n Dine Breakfast, or say “hi” to Mickey Minnie, Mickey, Goofy, and Pluto during the Minnie’s Seasonal Dine dinner party for Lunch and Dinner. These dining experiences change theming throughout the year to keep things fresh, but that doesn’t mean dining here is all sunshine and rainbows. Vampirina Some of our staff and readers feel like the buffet style has dragged down quality since it returned. Some readers don’t like the sanitary practices of a buffet, especially when you’re paying around $50-60+ per adult and $33-42+ per child based on the time of service. Cold bar On Yelp, the restaurant holds a humble 3.3 stars with nearly 400 reviews. On the review website, some guests wrote that the food is average at best and overpriced. Disney Junior Play ‘n Dine With that said, the majority of folks feel the character portion of this character dining experience is a standout. If meeting characters has a higher priority than great food for you and your family, Hollywood & Vine does an excellent job delivering. However, if you’re basing things on the price of food alone, there are better options. Inside the dining room If you’re ready to drop a pretty penny for a quality dining experience, Hollywood Brown Derby is the way to go at Hollywood Studios. Hollywood Brown Derby is seriously underrated This is one of our favorite restaurants and Disney World and it consistently meets expectations. This Signature Restaurant is a replica of the famous Hollywood landmark restaurant, but we’re not kidding when we say the food and service might be just as good. Hollywood Brown Derby The menu offerings are higher in price than the average theme park food by a considerable amount, but the quality is also significantly better. Serving Lunch and Dinner, Hollywood Brown Derby offers contemporary American cuisine such as Faroe Island salmon, char-grilled filet of beef, and their famous Cobb salad that follows the recipe created by Bob Cobb, owner of the California Brown Derby. Cobb Salad at the Hollywood Brown Derby You’ll also find plenty of enticing cocktails and delicious cakes, such as the Grapefruit Cake. Pretty AND popular! As for the atmosphere, the walls boast caricatures of famous faces and an overall upscale theming that calls back to the Golden Age of Hollywood. Hollywood Brown Derby Hollywood Brown Derby can be in demand, so advanced dining reservations are highly recommended. Feel free to stop by the connected Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge, which is located outside and welcomes walk-up guests. 11. It can be tricky figuring out what you need to pack for your vacation to Disney World. Suitcases at Disney World It is always good to be prepared for every situation, and that is why we are always recommending different Disney World essentials to help make your trip easier. Our team goes to Disney World every day and vacations at different Disney World hotels throughout the year. During our stays, we have found that these six items, while they might sound bizarre, can help make your vacation 10 times better! DISCLOSURE: This post may contain affiliate links, meaning when you click the links and make a purchase, we receive a commission. Without further ado, let’s get into it! Noise Machine If you like to sleep with a noise machine or are not used to sharing a room with others, it is never a bad idea to bring a noise machine with you! If you are worried about not having space to pack a noise machine, you can always ship it to your Disney World hotel to have it arrive by check-in day or even have it delivered mid-trip. ©Amazon We like to bring this noise machine with us because it is portable and comes programmed with 30 different sounds. Plus, it even has a built-in nightlight! View on Amazon Fan for Your Room While we are ‘fans’ (get it!) of bringing portable fans into the parks, especially on hot summer days, you can bring your fan to help keep your hotel room cool. ©Amazon While some Disney World hotel rooms have ceiling fans, other rooms do not. When we stay at a Disney World hotel. This fan is perfect for travel as it is able to be pushed down to be more compact. It even oscillates, can be adjusted to different heights, and is rechargeable! View on Amazon Nightlight We have all been there; you wake up in the middle of the night to use the restroom, and your room is pitch black. The last thing you want to do is stub your toe or run into something. It is so easy to pack a nightlight with you, but many people don’t think about it until after they have arrived. ©Amazon You can snag this nightlight online before your trip. It even has a light sensor to turn off during the day. View on Amazon Earplugs After a long day in the parks, you deserve a good night’s rest, but it can be hard to sleep if you have someone in your room who snores or you get woken up by people making noise in the hallway. ©Amazon Earplugs are also easy to pack and can not only benefit your sleep once you arrive at your hotel but are also great for travel days. We like these earplugs because they are reusable and are noise-canceling. View on Amazon Your Own Bedsheets Now, it may sound crazy to bring your own bedsheets on vacation, but here us out! Disney World hotel beds typically don’t use a fitted sheet, and if you move around a lot during the night, you may find that the bottom sheet comes undone. Bed at Port Orleans Resort — French Quarter To avoid this, we always recommend bringing a fitted sheet so that way you do not have to worry about the potential of sleeping on the mattress if the Disney World sheet comes off. Bed at Treehouse Villas Shoe Covers for the Rain One of our new favorite Disney World essentials is shoe covers for when it rains. Now, you may get some funny looks when you put these on in the parks, but trust us, people will be jealous that you get to wear your comfy tennis shoes while it rains and not have to worry about having soggy shoes and socks. Keep your feet dry with these shoe covers! View on Amazon We know it may seem weird to bring these seven items with you, but you are on vacation and deserve to be comfortable! 12. Some pretty HUGE things are coming to Disneyland, including a new Coco ride and an Avatar-themed land. Even Downtown Disney has been getting a LOT of new updates, like four NEW restaurants that recently opened PLUS a reimagined candy shop that should be opening SOON. ©Disney However, one of the most exciting things happening in Disneyland is the Avengers Campus expansion that will bring two NEW rides to Disney California Adventure. Well, we’ve got a HUGE update on that front: construction begins THIS WEEKEND on that expansion, according to The Orange County Register. As of Sunday, January 12th, Disneyland has closed the Timon parking lot to make way for construction at Avengers Campus. The expansion will double the size of Avengers Campus and bring two new rides to the land, including Avengers Infinity Defense. Here’s the official description of the ride: “Technology that allows the Avengers to jump between worlds has gone missing, and King Thanos is using it to wreak havoc everywhere. Recruits will travel to iconic locations like Asgard, Wakanda, and New York City alongside the likes of big and small heroes. You also just might find yourself face-to-face with King Thanos, too.” Avengers Infinity Defense will have guests join in battle across the multiverse alongside the Avengers to defeat King Thanos and recover stolen Stark technology. ©Disney The other ride is Stark Flight Lab, where “you’re going to sit in two-person pods and deploy to a test station. Then a robot arm grabs your pod and starts whirling you around in a simulated flight.” Okay, that sounds a little nauseating, but FUN! Stark Flight Lab will train guests to fly using new flight technology from Tony Stark’s workshop. ©Disney However, construction on the Avengers Campus expansion will shut down a California Adventure attraction, the Red Car Trolley, on February 8th. Disney needs the space taken up by the trolley’s barn for the expansion, so the entire ride will be permanently closed. However, one of the trolleys will remain on Buena Vista Street for photo ops. Red Car Trolley! We’ll keep an eye out for more updates, so stay tuned to DFB for more. Why Is Tiana’s Bayou Adventure SUPERIOR in Disneyland? Want to Learn More About Disneyland? 13. Winter is usually NOT the time to be enjoying water rides. Or, at least, many people prefer to stay far away. Cinderella Castle While it doesn’t often get freezing cold in Orlando, it does still get chilly in the winter, and many families visiting theme parks don’t want to get soaking wet on a ride. This is why we weren’t totally surprised to see the Tiana’s Bayou Adventure line looking less popular recently, but we WERE surprised to see how long the ride’s Virtual Queue was available! We checked on the Virtual Queue multiple times throughout the day, and it was open for HOURS in comparison to when it normally “sells” out in minutes, sometimes seconds. There’s a drop each day at 7 AM and 1 PM, but by the time we got into the park later in the day, virtual queue spots were still available. This RARELY happens — especially with rides as new as this one! Empty! In fact, we saw very few people in the line at all, and the ones we did were usually wearing ponchos to protect themselves from the water. While we saw lots of people get off the ride soaking wet, no one really looked unhappy! Down they go! By 1 PM, the Virtual Queue was still open, and no, it wasn’t from the second drop — it was still open from the first at 7 AM! ©Disney In fact, we saw the Virtual Queue open all the way through 4:30 PM when we left the park. So, what does this mean for your vacation? Well, if it’s a cold and cloudy day in the park, it may be much easier for you to ride Tiana’s Bayou Adventure if you don’t mind getting wet. 14. Moana has become a BIG property for Disney. Not only was the first Moana movie a smash hit, but the second movie recently premiered and has broken a lot of box office records. ©Disney We’ve met Moana in the parks. She’s even got her own attraction in EPCOT, Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana. There’s a brand new Moana show on Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, the Disney Treasure. Moana is EVERYWHERE. However, one animator is now saying that Moana and her story were stolen from his original idea and has filed a lawsuit against Disney, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Buck Woodall, an animator, has filed a lawsuit against Disney claiming that the company stole ideas for Moana from a screenplay he wrote for an animated movie called Bucky. Both movies have ancient Polynesian settings and teenagers who go on dangerous journeys to save their home. Both movies also have those teenagers encountering spirits. ©Disney This is the second lawsuit filed by Woodall against Disney over Moana. In the first case, a court found that a jury should decide whether the two works are similar if the statute of limitations had not passed. At the time, the court concluded that someone working for Disney Animation TV may have seen materials from Bucky before beginning work on Moana in 2016. However, the court ruled that Woodall had waited too late to sue. The release of Moana 2, though, has allowed him to continue legal action. ©Disney During the first case, U.S. District Judge Consuelo Marshall wrote, “There is a disputed issue of genuine fact regarding substantial similarity and striking similarity between the parties’ works.” Disney contested allegations that the works were similar and that no one at the company had seen Woodall’s materials for Bucky. Moana director Ron Clements wrote, “Moana was not inspired by or based in any way on [Woodall] or his ‘Bucky’ project, which I learned of for the first time after this lawsuit was filed. Disney also provided documents that showed the origins of Moana, including research, story ideas, travel journals, and more. ©Disney The lawsuit points out similarities between the two films, including the basic setting and story, the main character’s adventure starting with a turtle, a symbolic necklace, the main character meeting a demigod with a giant hook and tattoos, and a giant creature hidden in a mountain. ©Disney The complaint states: “Disney’s Moana was produced in the wake of Woodall’s delivery to the Defendants of virtually all constituent parts necessary for its development and production after more than 17 years of inspiration and work on his animated film project.” Woodall is seeking $10 billion, which is 2.5 percent of Moana’s gross revenue, as well as a court order barring further Bucky copyright infringements. 15. A brand-new Tropical Americas-themed land called Pueblo Esperanza is coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom. But this new land must take the place of DinoLand U.S.A., and the first phase of closures is happening on January 13th, 2025. ©Disney Disney’s new land is described as a colorful, lush world with details from Encanto and Indiana Jones. Construction is imminent since the new land will replace what is currently DinoLand U.S.A. at Animal Kingdom. In fact, January 12th is the LAST day to see DinoLand U.S.A. in its entirety. The last day to experience TriceraTop Spin, Fossil Fun Games, and Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures at Animal Kingdom is January 12th, 2025. Construction walls will go up around these areas on January 13th. TriceraTop Spin When the news first broke about Pueblo Esperanza, Disney explained that DinoLand would close in phases, adding that fans would still have some time to visit the popular Dinosaur attraction before it and the other DinoLand rides close permanently. So, while a large portion of DinoLand will be closed soon, Dinosaur will remain open a little longer. “Get that dino!” Disney did not confirm a closing date for the remaining parts of DinoLand, like the Dinosaur attraction, the Boneyard, Restaurantosaurus, Dino-Bite Snacks, and Trilo-Bites. Goofy meeting in the queue line for Triceratops Spin As of now, the clock is ticking, people! If you want to soak up all the kitschy, kooky fun of DinoLand before it goes extinct, head over to Dsiney’s Animal Kingdom as soon as possible. We have a feeling a phase two closing date could come soon. Restaurantosaurus When the new land is complete, there will be a ride inspired by Casa Madrigal, an Indiana Jones ride, and a carved wooden carousel featuring tropical animals. There will also be at least one restaurant and other attractions, including a large fountain where stories will be told by gathering villagers. The Tropical Americas are home to the largest biodiversity on Earth, so it’s likely we’ll see some amazing details from these areas. Madrigal’s Casita While DinoLand is leaving Animal Kingdom, a new, exciting land is yet to come. The new land is set to open in 2027! 17. Every week, we report the average Disney World wait times in every park so that you can be prepared for your next trip to Orlando! Magic Kingdom Disney World’s average wait times did see a drop this week from their record Holiday highs. However, drop is a relative term this week, as the resort’s wait times were still WAY above their usual averages. Don’t believe us? Take a look at this week’s average wait times! Magic Kingdom Wait Times Wait times at Magic Kingdom did start the trend of lowering times this week, but that’s only in a relative sense. TRON was still over 100 minutes, and all of the park’s major rides were near an hour average. 18. Ride closures happen all the time at Disney World, but occasionally restaurants will close as well to be refurbished. This restaurant offers a character breakfast and a signature dining dinner. Keep reading below to find out which restaurant is closing and what other Disney World attractions will remain closed this week! Topolino’s Terrace — Disney’s Riviera Resort Topolino’s Terrace at Disney’s Riviera Resort will be closing for refurbishment on January 12th! No specific date has been announced for the high-in-the-sky ride, but we’ll keep our eyes peeled for an update from Disney! Big Thunder Mountain Railroad We’ve been anticipating this ride closure for a while now, and on January 6th, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad closed for an extended temporary closure. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad The “Wildest Ride in the Wilderness” will be closed for at least a year and will reopen sometime in 2026. When it reopens it will have some “new magic,” according to Disney. We can’t wait to see what changes will be coming to this ever-popular roller coaster! Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade We had to say goodbye to an opening day attraction on June 23rd. Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade walls The Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade was around for generations and provided simple fun to all who played. Now, the attraction has closed to make room for a new Disney Vacation Club lounge. This lounge will be the third in Disney World, joining one in EPCOT and one at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Disney has not yet announced when the new lounge will open. 4 Magic Kingdom Souvenir Kiosks Mysteriously CLOSED in Tomorrowland Tomorrowland Terrace Tomorrowland Terrace is a quick-service restaurant that has been closed since the 2020 pandemic-related closures, but even before that, this spot was only occasionally open. Tomorrowland Terrace Once in a while, you’ll see the dining room open as a rest area (and it’s still being used for the Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Parties), but it’s usually all roped off and empty. Tomorrowland Terrace Disney hasn’t announced when this spot could finally reopen, but we’ll be watching for updates. If you’re looking for a nice spot to hang out in Disney World and sit down for a rest, this could be it! Magic Kingdom Has a NEW Park Map and It’s Got a BIG Change EPCOT Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros Over at EPCOT, the Gran Fiesta Tour ride at the Mexico pavilion also closed on January 6th! Gran Fiesta Tour The ride will temporarily close for refurbishment and is expected to reopen on March 15th! Test Track Test Track closed on June 17th, and Disney is giving this ride a BIG makeover! Test Track construction Disney has shared that the new version of Test Track will take inspiration from the old ride, World of Motion, that was originally there when the park opened in 1982. Disney shared more details at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Experience, and an updated opening timeline was just announced! We’ll be able to ride Test Track once again in late summer 2025. 15 Food Booths Are Getting NEW Items at the EPCOT Festival of the Arts Restaurant Marrakesh Restaurant Marrakesh is currently closed as a dining location in the Morocco pavilion of EPCOT’s World Showcase, and there’s no word yet on when the restaurant could fully reopen. Restaurant Marrakesh Occasionally, we’ll see it open as a lounge or Kidcot Fun Stop. So, if you’re in the Morocco Pavilion, check it out to see if it’s open. We’re watching for updates on when the full restaurant could reopen! Will Disney Finally FIX This Festival of the Arts Problem in EPCOT?! Hollywood Studios Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy The Cars-themed show featuring Lighting McQueen permanently closed on October 8th, 2024, to make way for a brand-new Villains show. Sunset Showcase The Cars show was previously housed in the Sunset Showcase building, but the last day for guests to enjoy it was October 7th. The new Villains show is supposed to debut in the summer of 2025. We’re always watching for more details about the new show, and we recently spotted a casting call for Cruella de Vil, Captain Hook, and Maleficent! These 2 Maps Show What Disney’s Hollywood Studios Will Look Like for the Next Several Years Voyage of the Little Mermaid Voyage of the Little Mermaid is currently closed in Disney World. But we recently spotted some construction walls up at the building along with a new permit filed! Voyage of the Little Mermaid Disney is going to introduce a new, updated show in this spot, though it will still be themed to the animated movie The Little Mermaid! The new show will be called “The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure,” and it is now coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Summer 2025. The Little Mermaid: A Musical Adventure Disney still hasn’t announced an official opening date for the new show, but it has been postponed from its Fall 2024 opening timeline. It will be a “fully reimagined theatrical production inspired by the Walt Disney Animation Studios classic.” NEW LOOK at “The Little Mermaid” Show Coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Animal Kingdom Kali River Rapids Kali River Rapids is a popular water ride at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Kali River Rapids Since this is a water ride, and it’s a bit cold outside in Florida during the winter, Disney often closes this ride for refurbishment this time of year. It closed on January 6th, and no times are available for the ride on the Disney World website as far as the calendar currently goes out. Typhoon Lagoon Blizzard Beach officially welcomed guests back on November 4th! That same day, Typhoon Lagoon closed its gates for the season. Typhoon Lagoon Typhoon Lagoon will likely be closed throughout the winter until sometime in the spring. Disney has been having one water park open at a time seasonally since 2020. In the meantime, you can enjoy the slopes at Blizzard Beach this winter! Click here to learn all about Blizzard Beach Disney World Hotels Everything POP Shopping & Dining — Disney’s Pop Century Resort The Everything Pop Food Court continues its refurbishment for the time being. Everything Pop Shopping and Dining Since July 29th, Everything Pop has been getting some work done. The refurbishment was supposed to end on September 29th. However, it was extended to November 30th, and now it has been extended AGAIN until April 2025. We recently visited the food court, and it’s looking great! There is far less construction, and almost everything is open and available again. This is a big improvement, and it’s great that people staying here have most dining shopping options available to them once again. Stormalong Bay — Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts Stormalong Bay is the shared pool between Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts. It features a beach, a lazy river, a large pool, and an exciting pirate ship slide! Stormalong Bay From January until June, this pool area will be closed for refurbishment. While it’s closed, hotel guests can use the Tidal (Beach Club), Admiral (Yacht Club), and Dunes Cove (Beach Club) leisure pools. Fantasia Pool — Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort From January 1st through April 30th, the Fantasia Pool at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort will be closed. Fantasia Pool at All-Star Movies While this pool is closed, you can swim at the Duck Pond Pool also located at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort if you’re staying here. Yes, TRON Lightcycle / Run opened AFTER Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind (sheesh — these names are a MOUTHFUL!), but it seems like people favor the EPCOT coaster over the Tomorrowland ride in Magic Kingdom. In fact, one of the exclusive TRON souvenirs in Magic Kingdom is totally unavailable right now…and it’s NOT because it sold out. Tomorrowland Tucked away in the Tomorrowland Launch Depot, Disney hosts a special TRON Identity Program where you can customize your own TRON-inspired action figure at the Grid Digitization Portal. While this activity is still relatively new, it seems to be a rather unpopular souvenir. Recently, we noticed that all of the TRON Identity Program “Portals” were closed. What’s going on with this souvenir?! Exclusive shopping experience According to a Tomorrowland Cast Member, the TRON Identity Program is currently closed. It’s been closed for about a week, and Cast Members couldn’t tell us when the Portals would reopen or what was going on. The activity costs $89.99 per person. TRON Identity Program During our visit, we didn’t see any Cast Members working on the kiosks, though this offering is not officially run by Disney World Cast Members. A Cast Member explained that this is technically a “Third Party” offering, meaning a separate company is in charge of the kiosks. These are closed for now! Similarly, the custom photo souvenirs you can purchase around the Disney parks (where your face gets Photoshopped onto a Disney character), like this kiosk in EPCOT, are also a third-party-run operation. This means Disney is not technically affiliated with the program, even if these studios use Disney characters in their photos. Just because you spot something for sale in Disney World does NOT mean it’s an official Disney souvenir. But that’s just a little behind-the-scenes tidbit for you from a former Cast Member. Photo Studio in EPCOT So, what does this mean for the fate of the TRON Identity Program? We’ll have to wait and see! It could be up to the third-party company that runs the kiosks. We’ll keep our eyes out for updates. The TRON Identity Program is still listed on the My Disney Experience app, so it doesn’t seem like it’s permanently closed…yet. ©Disney We’ll keep an eye out to see if anything changes! 3 Hints That a MAJOR Magic Kingdom Announcement Is Coming EXCLUSIVE Disney World Ticket Deal Announced for 2025 Many Florida residents will often get Annual Passes if they intend to visit Disney World often throughout the year. However, Disney also offers special tickets for Florida residents, including the Discover Disney ticket which is making a comeback in 2025! Here’s what you need to know if you’re a Florida resident and hoping to snag this discounted ticket for the parks. Magic Kingdom The Florida Resident Discover Disney Tickets will become available for purchase on January 7th. It’s a special 4-day ticket for $60 per day, plus tax. The total price comes out to $240 plus tax, which is a great deal that only those who reside in Florida can take advantage of. There is also a 3-day ticket available for $225 plus tax. ©Disney You can use this ticket for dates between January 13th through May 23rd, 2025. This is NOT a date-based ticket, so you will have to make Park Pass Reservations in advance which are limited and subject to availability. You’ll be able to use this ticket either on consecutive or nonconsecutive days, which offers great flexibility to those who don’t have to travel too far to the parks! These base tickets are only valid for admission to one theme park per day. ©Disney However, you can add additional options to the tickets to make them even more flexible and up the fun! You can add the Park Hopper Option for $40 more per ticket, the Water Park and Sports Option for $35 more per ticket, or the Park Hopper Plus Option for $55 more per ticket, plus tax. Adding on these options will give you more options for each day you’re at the parks. ©Disney Remember, these tickets go on sale on January 7th, and they must be used between January 13th and May 23rd, 2025. The tickets and any add-on option will expire on May 23rd, 2025. If you’re a Florida resident who loves going to Disney World, don’t miss out on these special tickets priced just for you! 20. Okay, who doesn’t love a festival in Disney World? We love a festival mostly because it means even MORE food comes to the resort. We are all about that food. Now, we know we have the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival to look forward to this fall, but there’s actually ANOTHER Food and Wine Festival in Disney World that doesn’t even require a park ticket. We’re talking about the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Food and Wine Classic, and we now know the dates for this year’s event: November 14th and 15th from 5 to 9 PM. That’s right: you’ll be able to attend the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Food and Wine Classic this year on the weekend of November 14th and 15th. For two days, from 5 to 9 PM, you’ll be able to eat a TON of food from the Swan and Dolphin’s many restaurants — all for the price of a ticket to the event. This is one of those non-park events that we enjoy every single year, and if you’re looking to do something a little different in Disney World, this is a fun and tasty way to spend your time on vacation. Chocolate Blackberry Choux Puff During the four hours of the event, you’ll be able to indulge in ALL that food plus enjoy live entertainment, seminars, and fireworks. You can also get additional tickets for special tastings and educational seminars. Tickets will go on sale later this year — we’ll be sure to let you know when they’ll be available, so stay tuned to DFB for more. Be sure to check out fave eats from last year’s event, too! 22. Okay, so sometimes Disney comes up with some unique snack ideas. For example, we’re always up for trying new DOLE Whip combos (and we haven’t seen a DOLE Whip yet that we don’t love). The Golden Horseshoe In Disneyland, we sometimes get some unique churro flavors (although, let’s face it, the Fluffernutter Churro is GOALS). There’s also the Churro Toffee that combines churro flavors with toffee and somehow makes both even better. Of course, we also love when Disney takes its classic Mickey beignet and creates some new flavors. Well, Disney has done it again — mixing some ideas to create a new snack, but this time, it’s just not really imaginative. So in Disneyland, you’ll find The Golden Horseshoe in Frontierland. Right now, a special treat called the “So M&M’S® and TWIX® walk into a Candy Bar” Sundae, which is Chocolate Chip Ice Cream topped with a Hot Fudge Drizzle, Chocolate Chip Cookies, Chocolate Bar Pieces, M&M’S Milk Chocolate candies, TWIX cookie bar pieces, Whipped Cream and a Cherry for $9.79. WHEW, that is a LOT of candy. “So M&Ms and Twix walk into a Candy Bar” Sundae So OF COURSE, we had to order it. So it’s basically ice cream with candy thrown on top of it. But if you love chocolate, there’s a LOT of it represented in this treat. SO MUCH CHOCOLATE. We will say we were disappointed that they seemed to have skimped on the M&M’s on our sundae. Also, as you can see, our sundae didn’t come with the cherry it was supposed to have. Loaded with cookies and candy So, yeah, this was actually pretty tasty because yes, we love chocolate. But it wasn’t anything special. It just felt like Disney ran out of ideas and just thought it would throw all its extra candy left over from last year’s Oogie Boogie Bash on top of ice cream and call it a new snack. Maybe we would’ve liked it better if they’d given it the Dairy Queen Blizzard treatment and had the candy and cookie pieces IN the ice cream. Lots of chocolate Overall, we wouldn’t go out of our way to get this again and if you want a better option, just go for the cookies at Harbour Galley. Stay tuned to DFB for more. 23. If you’ve never been to Disney World, you might find yourself a little overwhelmed, especially when you visit Magic Kingdom. Magic Kingdom There is SO much to do in Magic Kingdom, so many things to ride, so many things to eat, and LOADS of entertainment, including a parade (and that’s soon to be TWO parades), a show in front of Cinderella Castle, fireworks, cavalcades, and more. So you might already be working on planning how to make the most of the day you spend in Magic Kingdom. Well, we’re going to help you with that a bit. Okay, so we’re going to share some tips with you that will help you maximize your time in Magic Kingdom. The first thing you probably want to do in Magic Kingdom (especially at rope drop) is head straight to Starbucks at Main Street Bakery for that caffeine fix. We get it — that’s usually the first thing we want to do to. The problem is that if you want to do that, you’re going to find yourself waiting in a LONG line — seriously, sometimes the Starbucks line is longer than some of the ride lines! There’s almost always a line at Main Street Bakery Here’s our suggestion for that morning cup of joe: just skip that line and head straight to Tomorrowland (and here’s a shortcut tip: you can cut through Tomorrowland Terrace to get there faster and avoid the crowds) and head to Joffrey’s Revive. The line is a lot shorter, PLUS you can order a special Disney-themed coffee drink exclusive to this location: the Mission to S’mores Latte. The lines here are usually shorter than at Starbucks Okay, so we’ve got one other way to maximize your day in Magic Kingdom. There are always lines at Main Street Confectionery (we think it has to do something with that smell when you walk by because it is HEAVENLY). Main Street Confectionery BUT you don’t have to wait in line for snacks there. This location has Mobile Order, so you can place your order through the My Disney Experience app and just pick it up at the location inside the store marked for Mobile Order Pick-up. You’ll get in and out quickly while everyone is still waiting in line to order from a Cast Member. Main Street Confectionery Sure, these might seem like minor tips, but they can save you a lot of time in Magic Kingdom. We’ll keep sharing our best tips, tricks, and resources, so stay tuned to DFB for more. Join the DFB Newsletter to get all the breaking news right in your inbox! Click here to Subscribe! 24. Disneyland Resort introduces new menu items all the time, and we try it ALLLL make sure you know what’s worth your money and what you may want to skip. Chocolate Hazelnut Mickey Beignets We spotted some new menu offerings over at Refreshment Corner in Disneyland Park and decided it was the perfect day to give them a try. Are these new menu items worth a try? Let’s just say we have a LOT to say. At Refreshment Corner, you can currently try two new menu items that will both give you a little hint of heat. If you’re feeling hungry, the Birria Potato is what you’ll want to try for $13.79, made with Beef Birria and Pepper Jack Cheese topped with Salsa Verde in a Baked Potato. Birria Potato Out of all the birria items they’ve had in the parks recently, this was one of our FAVORITES! The meat was sweet, juicy, tender, and full of flavor. The salsa verde has a cool yet spicy flavor that countered the sweet flavor from the beef nicely, and the pepper jack underneath the beef perfectly melted in the baked potato, which made for a heavenly, cheesy bite with a slight kick. The onions, cilantro, and onion on top added a refreshing crunch that we loved, and we would highly recommend this to anyone who likes Mexican food, especially birria! It was honestly one of our favorite things we’ve had in a while. Yum! If you’re feeling thirsty, you can grab the Sweet Heat Lemonade for $6.49, which is Watermelon-Habanero Lemonade with Spiced Lemon and Serrano. We were unsure about this at first, but it ended up being really good! The spice was mild and reminded our reporter of the watermelon gummies and chamoy that Disneyland served in Adventureland. Sweet Heat Lemonade The drink was primarily sweet and tangy from the lemonade and watermelon, with a light spice throughout. Some sips were spicier than others, but it was never too hot. If you’re looking for a refreshing drink with fun flavors, we definitely recommend it! Both offerings were great! Looking for more recent Disneyland news? Check out our posts below! Double Up with a Buffet Strategy Here’s a pro tip every Disney dining enthusiast should know: you can turn one buffet reservation into two meals with a little savvy planning. Breakfast Buffet at Boma How? Book a late breakfast at one of Disney’s buffet restaurants – think 10:30 or 10:45 AM. Most buffets transition to lunch around 11 AM, which means you’ll get to enjoy breakfast and lunch offerings for the same (lower) breakfast price. Mickey Waffles! Imagine starting your meal with a plate of Mickey-shaped pancakes and then seamlessly moving on to hearty lunch options like carved meats, pastas, and more. It’s like a two-for-one dining deal that doesn’t even require a coupon! Opt for Quick-Service Versions of Fancy Restaurants Love the idea of dining at Disney’s upscale restaurants but not the hefty price tag? Good news! Some of these fancy spots have quick-service or to-go options that let you sample their amazing food without breaking the bank. Here’s the scoop on a few favorites: La Crêperie de Paris (EPCOT): Skip the table service and grab a sweet or savory crêpe from their to-go window. It’s the same deliciousness for a fraction of the price. Yak & Yeti (Animal Kingdom): The Local Food Cafes serve mouthwatering dishes at quick-service prices. Morimoto Asia Street Food (Disney Springs): Indulge in flavorful Asian street food without the sit-down splurge. Yak & Yeti Local Foods Cafes Not only do these quick-service options save you money, but they’re also a great way to sample the flavors of Disney’s top-tier restaurants when you’re short on time. Plus, you can enjoy your meal on the go and get right back to the magic. There you have it – three insider tips that every Disney World superfan should have in their back pocket.
