It’s SPOOKY time! Yep, spooky season has officially arrived in Disneyland.

Halloween is here!

The Halloween decorations are OUT (and Disneyland goes HARD with the decorations in both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure). The spooky snacks have arrived! And Oogie Boogie Bash has finally kicked off for the season. We stopped by the party to check out all the special offerings, including the SNACKS.

So let’s look at the exclusive eats available at the party. First we’re cruising into Cars Land to check out the Garlic-Parmesan Chicken Strips for $13.49 at Flo’s V-8 Cafe. These were just fine. It was a little on the greasy side and the garlic was VERY strong, taking away from most of the parmesan flavor. The fries were also pretty greasy from sitting underneath the chicken.

We also picked up the Orange Chicken Strips for $13.49. This had a great mix of sweet and spicy flavors — it starts with sweetness from the orange glaze and then you get some heat from the aioli. The sauce was also great for dipping your fries! Ultimately, we definitely recommend this one over the garlic parmesan version!

You can’t just go to Disneyland and NOT get a churro, and we had to try the special Oogie Boogie Bash churro, the Poison Apple Churro for $7.50. You can get this churro at the churro cart near Goofy’s Sky School or at Señor Buzz Churros. Really the only difference between this and the regular churro is the granny smith apple icing, which was mostly a sweet apple flavor. It didn’t taste artificial to us, and it had a bit of sourness at the end.

So if you’re headed to Oogie Boogie Bash, which runs through October 31st, be sure to grab some of these exclusive snacks.

Stay tuned to DFB for more.
