Magic Kingdom The cost of travel, hotel, park tickets, food, and, of course, souvenirs can add up. We are all about saving you money during your trip to Disney World and giving you all the tips and tricks for setting you up for a magical vacation. But trust us, this $25 upgrade could totally change your Disney World vacation! There are a lot of great benefits to staying at a Disney World Resort. At all three hotel tiers there are different room types that range from Standard Rooms, Preferred Rooms, Park View Rooms, Pool View Rooms, and the list goes on and on. While room prices fluctuate based on the time of year and depending on if you are staying in a Value, Moderate, or Deluxe Resort, there is a $25 upgrade at Value Resorts that we think is so worth it! All-Star Music Resort Value Resorts may be the lowest tier of hotels at Disney World, but they are not to be slept on! The biggest perk is that these resorts are the cheapest resorts on the property, meaning you get to stay at a hotel in Disney World for a fraction of the cost compared to a Deluxe Resort. Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort Value Resorts also have super colorful and fun theming that make you feel immersed. They also share perks that both Moderate and Deluxe Resorts have. Early Entry into Disney’s Hollywood Studios Regardless of what hotel tier you stay in, you also can take advantage of free transportation around Disney World which includes buses, monorails, the Skyliner, and watercraft. Disney Bus One of the newest hotel perks is that those staying at a Disney World hotel can book their Lightning Lane reservations seven days in advance! Lightning Lane While rooms can be upgraded at all the resorts, it is significantly cheaper to upgrade your room at Value Resorts, especially at the three All-Star Resorts. You can choose between a Standard and a Preferred Room. All-Star Music Prices do fluctuate based on season and day of the week, but on average, it is about an additional $25 a night to upgrade your Standard Room to a Preferred Room. So what does this mean?
