Not only is there a huge waitlist to join, but once you are invited to join membership costs THOUSANDS of dollars each year. Club 33 Disneyland While you get some pretty sweet perks for being a part of the Club, we have always been curious about how much a Club 33 membership actually costs. Well, we have some insight into how much you will need to shell out to join this exclusive club and the source might surprise you. Club 33 is the private club that has roots in Disneyland. You must have a membership to the club or be invited to visit. However, it is not as simple as showing up to the door with a wad of cash. Nope, in order to become a member you have to be invited to join. Yep, it’s THAT exclusive. Not only do you have to be invited to join, but even after you have been invited it costs a very pretty penny to join. This club will cost you thousands to join and has annual dues that are also in the thousands. New Orleans Square Club 33 According to D23 and The Walt Disney Archives, the club gets its name from its address at Disneyland Resort — 33 Royal Street. Club 33 started in 1967 as a dining location where Disney hosted celebrities, dignitaries, and friends. Now it is the elite club that all of us Disney fans hope to see the inside of one day. While the main dining area is in Disneyland, there are outposts in Disney World and Tokyo Disneyland. Club 33 in Magic Kingdom A Club 33 membership includes access to exclusive lounges, dining, VIP tours, and special events. Even though we knew it is expensive to get a spot in Club 33, we didn’t know an exact number. Well, now we know EXACTLY how much it costs to be a member of Club 33 in Disneyland. Club 33 Entrance Button in Disneyland According to the Los Angeles Times, a lawsuit filed by Scott and Diana Anderson provided us with details on membership fees. In the lawsuit, it states that yearly dues for Club 33 in Disneyland are $31,500. The couple claimed that along with travel and hotel expenses, they were spending close to $125,000 each year for their Disney trips. Disney California Adventure The lawsuit states that Scott and Diana Anderson’s membership to Club 33 was revoked in 2017 after an allegation that Scott Anderson was drunk in public near the entrance of Disney California Adventure. Since then, the couple has spent years and thousands of dollars to try to reinstate their Club 33 membership. ©Disney Last Tuesday, an “Orange County jury rejected their claim that Disney ousted them improperly.” The Andersons have vowed to continue to fight to regain their membership to the club even after spending about $400,000 on the lawsuit already.
