As we were saying, when you’ve got a list of things you want to try from the 2024 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival as long as our arm, and things can add up rather quickly, so let’s talk about how much we spent and ultimately what we noticed!

Let’s rip the bandage right off. This year was expensive. We ended up dropping a cool $828.41 on all the festival booths, and it wasn’t just to indulge. We set out on a mission to see if the food and overall experience could live up to the hype (and price tag). Spoiler alert — we were pleasantly surprised!

Breaking Down the Cost

First things first, yes, $816.41 sounds like a lot, but it’s Disney World, and the festival is all about those small plates and drinks, so the costs add up quickly.

Here’s a rough breakdown of how we spent our cash:

Food: Around $461 went to all the delicious bites we tried. From Grilled Bushberry Spiced Shrimp Skewer with sweet-and-sour vegetables and coconut chili sauce in Australia to Slow-roasted Pork Slider with sweet-and-sour DOLE Pineapple chutney and spicy mayonnaise in Hawai’i, the quallity and variety was insane.

Drinks: Naturally, the Food & Wine Festival isn’t just about food. We also spent about $366 on drinks. From Mango Peach Bubble Tea in China to the Coppertail Brewing Fallen Fruit Blueberry Pie Hard Cider from Milled and Mulled, there were some great options. We tried to pace ourselves, but when in EPCOT, right?

About the Food and Drink

Here’s the thing, the Food & Wine festival food and drink can be hit or miss, but this year, it was mostly hits. To be sure, not everything was perfect, though.

Our Filet Mignon in Canada was unfortunately pretty dry.

Some dishes felt a bit overpriced for what they were and some booths had longer waits than we expected. You can check out our festival video right here!

The Bottom Line

So, was spending almost $830 at Disney World’s Food & Wine Festival worth it? Well for us, honestly, yeah. It was a foodie adventure that overall lived up to our expectations — but it’s our job to bring you reviews on everything, and that spending was spread out over multiple reporters. Our main tip for you is to make sure you budget, pace yourself, and wear those comfy shoes! I mean, you really can’t beat getting to try fantastic dishes and drinks from around the world all in a single afternoon.
