Disney4me
Just when you thought we’d already eaten across Disney Springs with their newest eats and treats, we’re back for more! It comes precut When we first learned of a new snack coming to one of our favorite restaurants in Disney Springs, we couldn’t WAIT to try it out — but we had to. You see, this particular offering is only available for an exclusive time of the day each day during the restaurant’s happy hour. If you’ve not had a chance to stop by eet by Maneet Chauhan already, we’ve giving you yet another reason. eet by Maneet Chauhan has quickly become one of our favorite places to stop for a quick bite around Disney Springs thanks to its incredible line up of Indian cuisine and seasonal eats. The restaurant has debuted a new menu item you can only order during happy hour each day from 2-5PM each day. So, naturally, we had to time our visit just right and stop by to check it out! eet by Maneet Chauhan The Cheese Quesadilla will cost you $7.95 for a full small plate of cheese quesadilla with Indian pico and a side of Rika. Cheese quesadilla with rika The quesadilla is precut into sections and from the moment we laid eyes on it we could see all of the ingredients peering back at us from within. The Indian pico de gallo containing diced cucumber, onion, and tomato is folded into the shredded cheese that’s melted between two pieces of naan bread. Aftermath of pulling it apart Since the rika is served on the side in a cup, it makes it easy to customize how much you want to dip or pour over your cheese quesadilla. If you’re not already familiar with it, Rika is a sauce make from yogurt and Indian spices, and we found it really helped awaken the flavor of the quesadilla. Side of rika in a cup Overall, it was a good value for the price, however, since the dish is marketed as a cheese quesadilla, you might be a little thrown to find out there are veggies mixed into the ingredients. But who can resist the call of the gooey, melted cheese between two fluffy pieces of bread?! Clearly, not us! Delicious! We really enjoyed the portion of rika served with that quesadilla and it helped taper the spices to our preferences. At the end of the day, there really wasn’t anything super special about this classic dish with a twist but it did make for a very solid choice (that could easily be shared as a snack instead of as an entree) but you’ll have to make sure your timing is just right to snag it!
