As any Disney World guest who’s visited the resort knows, there are countless levels of perks available across the property. Recently, we checked in on one of the most opulent and were surprised at what we learned!

Some of Disney World’s most exclusive Deluxe Resorts — Grand Floridian, Contemporary, and Yacht & Beach Club — offer poolside cabana rentals that allow guests to “lounge in the sun or retreat to your furnished, shaded oasis—complete with personal electronics and refreshments.”

 

We’ve confirmed that these poolside cabana rentals ARE eligible for the 15% off Annual Passholder Discount at (at least) the Grand Floridian and the Beach Club.

Benefits available at these cabanas include:

Disney’s Contemporary Resort

• Padded furniture, including chairs and couch
• Ceiling fan
• Bluetooth speaker
• Television with cable service
• Phone for internal Resort calls
• Fruit tray
• Mini refrigerator stocked with complimentary sodas and water
• Safe

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

• Dedicated Cast Member providing service to the cabanas
• 2 padded lounge chairs
• Padded sectional couch
• Ceiling fan
• Smart TV with cable service
• Fruit basket (may not be available without advance reservation)
• Mini refrigerator stocked with complimentary sodas and water
• Snack basket (may not be available without advance reservation)
• Plush towels

Disney’s Yacht Club Resort and Beach Club Resort

• Dedicated Cast Member providing service to the cabanas
• Cocktail service
• Ceiling fan
• Padded furniture, including chairs and couch
• Television with cable access
• Charging outlet/USB
• Mini refrigerator stocked with complimentary sodas and water
• Fruit basket (may not be available without advance reservation)
• Plush towels
• Cabinet safe

Disney’s Contemporary Resort

Some notes on these cabana rentals, as per Disney’s official policies:

• Advance reservations are highly recommended as cabanas book quickly.
• Availability of amenities may change without notice. Check with the Resort hotel at time of booking to confirm what will be provided.
• Cabanas at Disney’s Contemporary Resort and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa can only be booked by Guests of each Resort hotel.
• Cabanas shared by Disney’s Beach Club Resort and Disney’s Yacht Club Resort can only be booked by Guests of either Resort hotel.
• A MagicBand or Key to the World Card is required at Resort hotel cabana check-in.
• One Guest in the party must be at least 18 years old.
• Guests who need to cancel cabana reservations must provide 24-hour notice. The full price of your reservation will be charged in the event of no-shows or same-day cancellations.
• Rentals may be canceled by the Resort hotel due to inclement weather. Guests will not be charged in this case.
