Tropical Storm Sara Has Formed – Will It Impact Disney World?

A tropical storm has formed in the Caribbean Sea and the National Hurricane Center is closely monitoring the system.

Could this storm impact Disney World in the coming days? We have all the details about Tropical Storm Sara. 

Tropical Storm Sara has now formed in the western Caribbean Sea. The National Hurricane Center has been keeping a close eye on the system and it has now been upgraded to a Tropical Storm with maximum sustained winds of 40 mph. A Tropical Storm warning has been issued for parts of Honduras and a Tropical Storm Watch is in effect for areas of Nicaragua.

The storm is supposed to move across Honduras, Belize, Guatemala, and Mexico through early next week, and current models show the storm returning to a depression when it makes it to the Gulf of Mexico early Tuesday.

It is still too soon to determine what kind of impacts this storm may have on Florida as it continues to move. However, forecasters are keeping a close eye as it has the potential to impact Florida in the coming days. Current models show the storm could travel in a number of different ways, so it is still too soon to know if this storm could impact Disney World.
