Disney4me
We are so thrilled to be seeing the Disney Treasure, Disney Cruise Line‘s newest ship before it sets sail for Port Canaveral, Florida for its maiden voyage! ©Disney There’s so much to explore on this new ship! The new dining options are exciting on their own, the stunning lobby and decorations on board are beautiful to see, and of course, the new entertainment we’re beyond thrilled to see. We just got a sneak peek at the new Moana stage show and had to immediately tell you all about it! This new show is titled Disney The Tale of Moana and follows the same events of the film in a shorter amount of time. We were already looking forward to the show, but then we got a look at some of the incredible concept art and it became one of the things we were looking forward to the most. ©Disney Disney revealed that a 50-foot tall Te Ka puppet would be used during the fight between Moana and Te Ka, and is the largest puppet ever produced for a Disney Cruise Line show to date! ©Disney Disney dropped a first look, though, of what the show will look like in real life. Here’s Moana with her Wayfinding boat. AMAZING. ©Disney Let’s take a closer look. How Far I’ll Go Now we weren’t able to take pictures or videos during the show itself, but trust us — you’re in for a treat. Here’s a look at the stage! We watched the first act and Moana fans will be happy to know this is a retelling of the original movie so the storyline is basically the same. One cool fact we learned is that many of the actors are Hawaiian and love performing the show! The sets are minimal but are balanced well with projections. Overall, it’s beautiful and the actor playing Moana had a stunning voice. How cool does this set look?! One thing we should note is that if you haven’t seen the movie yet, you may be a bit lost. So if you’re booking a trip on the Treasure, we highly recommend studying up beforehand! We definitely think this is a show you cannot miss when you’re on board, so plan to see it at least one night during your cruise! More Recent Disney Treasure News!
