It’s the most wonderful time of the year — the holiday season at Disney World!

The EPCOT tree has arrived!

The parks have all been decked out in gorgeous decor, festive eats and treats have popped up all around, and in just a few short days, the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays will begin. We can’t wait to eat and drink our way around the festival while taking in all the entertainment and more. Speaking of which, it looks like something exciting has popped up ahead of the festival!

The EPCOT Festival of the Holidays kicks off on November 29th and we’re pretty darn excited to experience all that this festive event has to offer. Of course, there will be plenty of food and drinks, merchandise, and entertainment to experience — but part of the festival has arrived early! The Glimmering Greenhouses holiday overlay at Living with the Land is officially open now — so of course, we had to check it out!

Living with the Land gets all decked out with holiday decor and lights during the season! Glimmering Greenhouses features thousands of lights and familiar holiday bits and baubles — like these snow-er, sandmen surrounded by presents!

…and you can’t forget the Mickey reindeer made out of bougainvillea!

As we floated on through the ride, we happened to spot a Cast Member putting up some additional string lights throughout the greenhouse. While the ride is still pretty during the day, it really comes to life at night when you can see all of the colored lights twinkling and shining bright!

This year, Disney is introducing Behind the Seeds: Glimmering Greenhouses! This limited-time walking tour is being offered during the festival, from November 29th to December 30th, and is $45 per person. Each tour lasts one hour and will take place at 6PM and 7PM daily. Last we checked, spots were all filled up for this tour but keep checking back — you never know if someone might cancel!

And, Disney confirmed that EPCOT will host over 15 Holiday Kitchens (a.k.a. the food booths) AND a brand-new gingerbread recreation of Spaceship Earth at CommuniCore Hall. It’s going to be EPIC!
