Disney4me
Moana 2 is officially out in the world and already breaking box office records! Moana’s new outfit inspired by the second film. We’ve already seen loads of merchandise come out inspired by this new film, and now one spot in Disney Springs has introduced a new treat to celebrate the film’s release. If you’re looking for a tropical snack to munch on while you walk around the shopping and dining district, this new cake pop is a must grab! Over at Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs you’ll find a collection of delicious treats to enjoy. These are often more expensive than others around the park, but that’s because they’re made with a little more skill and often look (and taste) incredible. Amorette’s Patisserie We headed over there to try the new Moana 2 Cake Bar for $8. This is made with Passion Fruit Chiffon, Pineapple Jam, and Caramel Crispy Pearls coated in White Chocolate. We were a little worried about all those flavors at first, but we loved it! Moana 2 Cake Bar Since the pineapple jam is throughout the passion fruit chiffon cake, there are bits of actual pineapple inside the treat, making it one of the most prominent flavors. You can certainly still taste the passion fruit too, but it isn’t as prominent, so a heads up on that. We also couldn’t find any caramel crispy pearls in the treat at all, so it’s possible those were forgotten in this batch or may be left out all together. It’s beautiful! If you’re a fan of tropical flavors, we highly recommend as we found this one to be light and delicious. Our reporter typically isn’t a fan of cake pops since they often have a Play-Doh texture, but that wasn’t the case with this one! It was moist, and all the flavors paired very well, even with the blue-colored white chocolate coating on the outside. We really enjoyed this one! Our reporter also said that, being someone who often gets her kids treats when they’re out together, she’d much rather spring for this slightly more expensive one and not have to worry about the mess that comes after a melty treat like ice cream or a fruit bar. This cake bar stayed together very well, was delicious, and celebrated a character we all know and love, so it was a real win in our book. More Recent Reviews!
