Island Tower It has been a few years since we’ve been able to explore a new addition to a resort, and we’re HYPED. The Island Tower officially opens at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort on December 17th, but we’re there checking it out early at a media event, and we’re taking you along with us! Let’s go! We’re soaking in the island vibes at the celebration for the NEW Polynesian Island Tower! From tropical touches to jaw-dropping views, this stunning addition is bringing all the Aloha spirit to Disney World. Overview of the lobby It’s a beautiful space with stunning details and art. There is beautiful art all around the lobby Plus, there are relaxing seating areas for you to enjoy while you’re checking in, relaxing during a break, or just want to sit and enjoy the views. Seating area The lobby is great, but let’s check out the rooms! Accommodations Now, it’s the moment you’ve been waiting for — the rooms! There are multiple different room types for parties of different sizes, but we’re checking out a Duo Studio room first. Duo Studio rooms sleep two guests, while a Deluxe Studio sleeps up to four. These villas can sleep up to nine guests, while a 1 Bedroom Villa can sleep up to five. The villas have a full kitchen, comfy living area, outdoor patio, and even a washer and dryer.
