Disney4me Posted December 28, 2024 Report Share Posted December 28, 2024 Swimming in Disney World may not be your first priority during the winter months of the year when it’s chillier, but come spring, summer, and fall, it’s a great way to keep cool on your resort day or take a quick dip when you get back from a long day at the parks. Stormalong Bay at Disney’s Beach Club There are a lot of fantastic pools around Disney World, but one that’s considered to the best of the best is Stormalong Bay Pool at Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resorts. Yes, both resorts share the pool, but it’s certainly big enough! This pool features incredible amenities like a sand pool bottom, a waterslide, and so much more. However, if you’re planning to visit in 2025, there’s something you need to know — it’s going to be CLOSED for half the year! That’s right, Stormalong Bay is closing in Disney World from January-June 2025, although we don’t know specific dates just yet. We do know this closure will be to do regular maintenance on the pool, and in the meantime, the Tidal, Admiral, and Dunes Cove leisure pools will still be open for swimming. Stormalong Bay This also means that there will likely be some more noise around the resort while this construction is going on, but it will likely all take place during daytime hours, so while napping kiddos and adults may be affected, others shouldn’t have any sort of issue!
