Wait — our hotel pool is closed?? The Monorail at EPCOT There are so many details that go into a Disney World trip. Let us help and give you a little preview as to what’s happening at your resort before your next trip. Here’s a breakdown of all the current and upcoming closures and refurbishments at the Disney World hotels. Disney’s All-Star Resorts The Fantasia Pool at All-Star Movies will be closed from January 2025 to April 2025. Guests can use the Duck Pond Pool instead! At All-Star Sports, the Surfboard Bay Pool and kiddie pool will be closed from January 2026 to April 2026. Guests can use the Grand Slam Leisure Pool or any other pools at the All-Star Resorts. All-Star Resorts Disney’s Pop Century Resort Everything POP Food Court will be undergoing refurbishments throughout April 2025. The full menu will still be available, but guests might see and hear construction. From March 2025 to February 2026, guest rooms will be undergoing refurbishment, and while all the amenities at the resort will be available, there might be some noise during the daytime hours! Pop Century Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort Sebastian’s Bistro will be closed starting March 24th, 2025, but is expected to reopen at the end of March. Caribbean Beach Resort Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter and Riverside On the French Quarter side, guest rooms will be under refurbishment from May 2024 to Spring 2025. For Riverside, rooms in Magnolia Bend will be under construction from April 2025 to January 2026. Port Orleans – Riverside Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resort and Beach Club Villas From January 2025 to June 2025, Stormalong Bay and Shipwreck Pool will be closed for routine maintenance. Hurricane Hanna’s Waterside Bar & Grill will be closed, and while visiting Beaches & Cream Soda Shop, you might hear and see construction. Stormalong Bay Disney’s Contemporary Resort and Bay Lake Tower From September 2024 to summer 2025, the Contemporary, Bay Lake Tower, and Convention Center will be under construction. The skyway bridge will be intermittently closed, and it’s recommended to allow for extra travel time. From January 26th, 2026, to May 2026, The Bay Cove Pool, the water play area, and the whirlpool at Bay Lake Tower will be closed. The Bay Lake Pool, the feature pool, water play area, and whirlpool spa at Contemporary will be open for guests. Disney’s Contemporary Resort Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and Villas From January 27th, 2025, to February 2025, The Courtyard Pool, Courtyard Pool Bar, and Spa will be closed. There will also be general refurbishments happening where guests may see and hear during the day. Grand Floridian The Polynesian Village Resort With the expansions and refurbishments happening through 2025, visitors may hear and see construction, but all amenities remain open. The Polynesian Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and Cooper Creek Villas Wilderness Lodge and Cooper Creek Villas are currently having exterior refurbishments worked on. Everything remains open. Wilderness Lodge Disney’s Old Key West Resort From February 10th to April 2025, boat transportation to Disney Springs will not be available at Old Key West. Guests will have to use the buses.
