Disney4me
We’ve been missing this attraction for a while, and y’all, it’s FINALLY BACK! Universal Studios Florida Grab your little riders and head to Universal Studios Orlando because it’s time to fly! After being closed for almost a year, Pteran0don Flyers is back up and running! ©Universal Pteranodon Flyers closed in mid-April 2024 without a warning from Universal. We’ve been waiting and waiting and never received an update on whether this ride was A.) closed for refurbishment, B) becoming a seasonal attraction, or C.) never going to reopen. Luckily, we’ve been keeping an eye on it, and it’s currently up and operating! ©Universal This attraction gives kids and their accompanying adult a chance to fly above Jurassic Park in Universal Islands of Adventure! The two seats are suspended from the track above, giving you a chance to stretch out and swing your legs under the wings of a pteranodon. ©Universal We love this ride, but keep in mind it’s meant for young riders! Guests over 54 inches must be joined by a partner who meets the 36-inch requirement but remains under 54 inches. The ride opened this morning, and we’re already seeing wait times around 50 minutes. It looks like everyone is just as happy as us that it’s back up and running! Camp Jurassic at Universal Studios Florida Pteranodon Flyers is in the Jurassic Park area of Islands of Adventure and is a great kid-friendly ride to enjoy while the older ones tackle Jurassic World VelociCoaster or Jurassic Park River Adventure. After spending time flying, kids can also enjoy burning off some energy at Camp Jurassic, a fun dinosaur-themed playground. We’re going to run to Universal and hitch a ride on the Pteranodon Flyers, but in the meantime, stay up to date with Disney Food Blog so you know when all of your favorite attractions are opening and closing!
