Disney4me
Who doesn’t love a good nap? Doesn’t it feel nice to lie down, rest your head, and snuggle up under a warm blanket? What can we say? We love to sleep! Ah…it feels good to lie down! Sometimes, though, it’s nice to get away on a little vacation. Now, don’t get us wrong, we love to explore the Disney parks and see as much as possible on vacation, but this new “Sleep Tourism” trend is seriously tempting us to stop planning and start…sleeping! Alright. Hear us out. Paying to go to sleep? Now, that is unique. But a luxury hotel near Disney World, the Conrad Orlando, is hosting a Wellness Sleep Retreat this March, and it sounds pretty fabulous. Conrad Orlando So, what are we getting into here? The Conrad Orlando’s Wellness Sleep Retreat is an “in-depth journey into the science and practice of restful and restorative sleep, with a focus on sleep while traveling in unfamiliar environments.” Think of it like an extended spa vacation, with a focus on REST and RELAXATION. Now that’s our kind of trip! ©Conrad Orlando The event kicks off on Thursday, March 27th and runs through March 30th, 2025. To participate, there is a three-night minimum stay requirement. There’s even a special Welcome Party on Thursday evening, complete with wellness beverages and healthy bites! Evermore Bay Conrad Orlando explains that the retreat experience is designed to “empower and educate” through daily workshops. You’ll even learn to create a personalized sleep schedule and gain knowledge and practices to improve your daily routines! It’s all about learning! The retreat is hosted by experts in the field, including Dr. Rebecca Robbins, esteemed Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and Associate Scientist at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Robbins is also the co-author of Sleep for Success. Also in attendance will be Brandon Price, President and CEO of Medicine Springs Inc., a company that “replicates and packages hot springs to bring therapeutic benefits into homes worldwide.” Price will demonstrate the wellness benefits of minerals and bathing for health during the retreat. ©Conrad Orlando Remember how we said “Sleep Tourism” is a new thing among travelers? We weren’t kidding! The New York Times explained that Sleep Tourism is focused on solving the issues many people face with getting a good night’s sleep. Combine that with a vacation, and you’ve got yourself a sleep-centric experience aimed at travel rejuvenation and better sleep. Who’s ready to rest? The Conrad Orlando even has new Wellness Guest Rooms with the “latest technologies” to improve your experience. Oh, and you’re invited to stop by Conrad Spa’s Water Garden, which features “bathing rituals inspired by Florida’s breathtaking natural springs.” Alright, now THAT sounds amazing. ©Conrad Orlando The retreat comes with: A Hotel Guest Room (King or Two Queen) at Conrad Orlando A Welcome Reception & Kick Off Event at Conrad Spa Orlando Two Sleep Workshops with Dr. Rebecca Robbins, Sleep Expert A Workshop with Brandon Price, Owner of Medicine Springs, Daily Group Fitness Class One Group Sound Bath A Welcome Wellness gift bag for In-Room and Home Care Two Breakfast Meals Two Dinner Meals A Private Cabana for Retreat Guests Exclusive Spa Services for Retreat Guests ©Conrad Orlando The retreat is available to book online now, and space is limited!
