The Disney Dining Plan is back!

Adding the dining plan to your vacation can make your trip to Disney World even easier as you pre-pay for your food ahead of time. There are a few different dining plan options that you can choose from depending on what works best for you and your party. If you are looking to enjoy a table service meal during your vacation, you will want to spring for the Disney Dining Plan over the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan. If you are looking to get the most bang for your buck, these seven Table Service restaurants are a must while on the Disney Dining Plan.

What Is the Disney Dining Plan?

If you need a refresher or are unfamiliar with a Disney Dining Plan, you pay a set amount to get a certain number of “credits” that you can use throughout your stay. Depending on the credit and plan type, these credits can be redeemed for snacks, quick service, or table service meals. Think of it as a way to make your vacation feel more inclusive! As we mentioned before, dining plans can be pre-purchased and added to a Disney Vacation Package.

Best One-Credit Table Service Restaurants in the Parks for 2025

We always recommend preparing before your vacation starts to see where you want to use up your dining credits. If you are only looking to use one for a meal, here is where you should consider dining.

Magic Kingdom

Crystal Palace

Character meals can be pricey, and if you are looking to have an all-you-care-to-enjoy meal with some of Pooh’s friends from the Hundred Acre Woods, you should consider using one of your credits on a meal at the Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom. This buffet-style restaurant is open for all three meal periods, and there are characters at each meal, unlike other character dining experiences where characters typically are only there for breakfast.

It is $52 for adults and $33 for children to dine during breakfast. For lunch and dinner, it is $62 for adults and $42 for children. For only one dining credit, you can enjoy a meal with characters, and there is no limit to how many times you can visit the buffet!

EPCOT

La Hacienda de San Angel

EPCOT’s Mexico Pavilion is home to several restaurants, including La Hacienda de San Angel. While this may not be inside the Mexico Pavilion pyramid, it offers a stunning view of the World Showcase Lagoon.

Entrées can range from $30 to $55, and while not every single entree is included with the Disney Dining Plan, it is still a solid restaurant choice if you are looking to get the most out of a table service credit. Plus, the added views of Luminous at nighttime are a plus!

Animal Kingdom

Tusker House Restaurant

There are not many table service restaurants to choose from in Animal Kingdom; if you are looking for another character meal option, Tusker Restaurant in Animal Kingdom is a solid choice. Here, you can meet Mickey and the gang in their safari gear!

In addition to being a character dining location, it is also a buffet! Breakfast costs $49 for adults and $33 for children. Lunch and dinner cost $64 for adults and $42 for children. We like that for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, there are some fun items that are not your average Disney dishes throughout the buffet.

Roundup Rodeo BBQ

One of Hollywood Studios’ newest additions is Roundup Rodeo BBQ, located in Andy’s Backyard at Toy Story Land. This restaurant is heavily themed and really makes you feel like a toy!

The food here is served family-style, with biscuits, salads, different meats, sides, and desserts. You get a lot of food, and you can ask your server to bring you more as needed. Lunch and dinner are $49 for adults and $27 for children. We promise you won’t leave this meal hungry because you get so much food!

Disney Springs

Your dining plan can be used outside of the parks at both the hotels and Disney Springs!

Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’

We cannot recommend Homecomin’ enough, especially for brunch. This restaurant serves Southern-style dishes and is so popular that it is often hard to snag a reservation.

Art’s Famous Fried Chicken

To get the most out of your credit during lunch and dinner, we recommend ordering Art’s Famous Fried Chicken, which comes with buttermilk-brined chicken, creamy mashed potatoes, and a cheddar drop biscuit, all for $34. As we said, this restaurant is a must for many people, so make sure to make your Advance Dining Reservations!

Hotels

Disney World’s hotels have some amazing table service dining locations, and even if you are not a guest at the resort, it can be super fun to check out the theming of another hotel!

Disney’s Riviera Resort

Breakfast à la Art with Mickey & Friends

In the morning, the Riviera’s rooftop restaurant, Topolino’s Terrace, hosts a character breakfast! This prix fixe meal costs $52 per adult and $33 per child.

Minnie at Topolino’s Terrace Breakfast

To start your meal, you will be served bread and fresh pastries, along with your choice of one entrée. Character meals tend to be some of the pricier meal options at Disney World, and for only one dining plan credit, Breakfast à la Art with Mickey & Friends is a great deal!

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort

‘Ohana

‘Ohana is one of Disney World’s most popular restaurants, and although we have been worried about it in the past, it is still a great restaurant to use a dining plan credit on. For both breakfast and dinner, food is served family-style, which means you can ask your server to bring out more of an item.

Breakfast at ‘Ohana

For breakfast, Ohana is a character meal where you can meet Stitch and his friends. It costs $53 for adults and $33 for children. While dinner may not have characters, there is live music. Dinner costs $65 for adults and $42 for children. Although we love breakfast with characters, to get the most bang for your buck, dinner would be a better option!
