Disney4me Posted February 27 Report Share Posted February 27 Disney seems to be following a new restaurant trend, and we are huge fans of it! ©Disney 2025 is a big year for Disney World; although many attractions and lands are closing, two new lounges are set to open this year! One in EPCOT and one in the Magic Kingdom. While we are always excited to check out a new place to dine at Disney World, we are incredibly excited about these lounges because they are themed after popular attractions! We love it when Disney incorporates details from attractions around the parks or on merchandise. Soon, you will be able to dine in the world of Pirates of the Caribbean and Spaceship Earth—two fan-favorite Disney World attractions. EPCOT Pirates of the Caribbean Lounge It was announced in 2023 that a new lounge inspired by the attraction Pirates of the Caribbean would be part of the Magic Kingdom. As time went on, we got more details about this lounge and new pieces of concept art. ©Disney While we don’t know the exact location of the lounge, we know it will be in Adventureland, and we have a feeling it could replace Tortuga Tavern. It is hard to believe how fast 2025 is flying by, and you will be able to dine like a pirate before you know it when it opens in late 2025! We’re Begging Disney World To Bring These Menu Items to the NEW Pirate Tavern Spaceship Earth Lounge EPCOT will soon be home to a lounge themed after its park icon, Spaceship Earth. This announcement was made at D23: The Ultimate Fan Event back in August 2024. The lounge will be inspired by Spaceship Earth’s “stories, shapes, and enduring legacy.” It will be decorated with rich textures and warm metallic tones for a “mysterious and elegant intimacy.” ©Disney The lounge is set to open in EPCOT with a view of the World Celebration in the late Spring of 2025, which is right around the corner! “If They Don’t Have Rome Burning I Will Cry.” Disney Fans Have 6 Demands for EPCOT’s New Spaceship Earth Lounge Not only will Disney World soon have ride-themed lounges, but Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship has debuted with hints of the theme parks! Disney Treasure Skipper Society Lounge Aboard the Disney Treasure, you will find the Skipper Society Lounge, which is themed after the World Famous Jungle Cruise! This lounge plays homage to the skippers, and there are so many fun details. Skipper Society The menu has a handful of cocktails, including the HippopotoMai-Tai, which you can find at Trader Sam’s Grogg Grotto. They also serve different wines, beers, and specialty coffee drinks. They even have snacks, like waffles! Come With Us INSIDE the Disney Treasure Cruise Ship! Haunted Mansion Parlor If you are ever aboard the Disney Treasure, you do not want to miss out on the Haunted Mansion Parlor! This lounge is dark and cozy, and there are so many hidden details. Haunted Mansion Parlor If you are looking for a souvenir to take home with you, the parlor has a few different Haunted Mansion-themed tiki mugs, such as the Sea Captain and a haunting siren. There is even a hidden menu, and if you solve the riddle on the tablet, you’ll be able to see a hidden cocktail! We’re Spilling the SECRETS of Disney’s NEW Haunted Mansion Lounge Periscope Pub While 20,000 Leages Under the Sea may no longer be at Disney World, you can find a nod to the attraction and film aboard the Disney Treasure! The Periscope Pub is inspired by a submarine with “19th-century steampunk influences.” Periscope Pub The menu features light bites and craft brews. This lounge is super immersive, with windows on the ceiling that make you feel like you’re in a submarine! Learn More About the Adults Only Spaces Aboard the Disney Treasure We love that Disney is creating lounges based on some of our favorite attractions. While we have already experienced Periscope Pub, the Haunted Mansion Parlor, and Skipper Society, we can’t wait to check out the Spaceship Earth and Pirates of the Caribbean Lounge when they open later this year!
