Disney4me
Magic Kingdom is Disney World’s original theme park, and there are so many hidden details throughout. Magic Kingdom There is more to the park than just enjoying attractions and rides and snacking your way through the park. We go to Disney World every day, which means we have learned to take in and enjoy other parts of the park that people usually don’t notice while they are trying to squeeze everything in on their must-do list. We are always on the lookout for fun things, and there are three activities that we consider some of the best things to do in Disney World’s castle park. And the best part? They’re FREE! Main Street Smellephants on Parade Storybook Circus in Fantasyland got a brand new addition last May. Throughout the land, you will see different elephants disguised as some of our favorite snacks. Scentsy presents this offering, so this crossover makes perfect sense, albeit still a bit weird. Smellephants on Parade You can pick up your scavenger hunt map for free at the ticket booth in front of Big Top Souvenirs. Once you have your map, you can go around Storybook Circus and match the eight stickers to their respective elephants. You can only get your map between 10 AM and 6 PM, but even if you visit Storybook Circus after 6 PM, you can still go around and find all the Smellephants. SMELLEPHANTS!!! Find Pascal in Fantasyland Smellephants on Parade is not the only scavenger hunt in Fantasyland. Located way on the opposite side of Storybook Circus, near the entrance to Haunted Mansion, you will find arguably the most famous bathrooms at Disney World. These bathrooms are themed after the movie Tangled. While we are happy that there is Tangled representation in the parks, come on, Disney, this movie deserves more than just a bathroom! Tangled bathrooms in Fantasyland Anyways, Pascal is Rapunzel’s sidekick, and he is a chameleon. These animals are known for camouflaging themselves to fit their surroundings. So hidden around the Tangled bathrooms are ten Pascals. There is no official map to keep track of which ones you find, but it is still a fun and free activity! We won’t post any spoilers in this post, but if you want the answer key, you can find it here. Look for Pascal! A Pirate’s Adventure ~ Treasures of the Seven Seas There is yet another free scavenger hunt in the Magic Kingdom located in Adventureland. Now, this one is the most interactive of them all, and we are shocked that more people don’t know about it! Adventureland In order to participate, you will want to head to the Crow’s Nest, which is located near Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe. It is open daily from 12 PM to 6 PM. Once inside, you will pick up your talisman. Your MagicBand can also act as your talisman, but either way, it must be activated at the Crow’s Nest. Once you have your talisman, you will bae able to read a secret treasure map. A Pirate’s Adventure There are five missions that you can go on throughout Adventureland, and each one takes about 20 minutes to complete. There is no time limit, so you can start and stop each mission throughout the day. You can start a mission up to 30 minutes before Adventureland closes. A Pirate’s Adventure The next time you are in Magic Kingdom and looking to do something new, consider participating in these three scavenger hunts.
