Disney4me
Let’s face it — not all Disney World hotels are created equal. Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort Disney World has three main hotel tiers — value, moderate, and deluxe — and each one has its own set of perks. Obviously, as the cost gets higher, the perks tend to get better…and that includes transportation! Recently Madeleine, an editor here at DFB, stayed at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort and discovered her new favorite hack for getting to the theme parks faster and we’re sharing it with you today! First things first, if you’re planning a Disney World vacation soon, we’ve got the ultimate hack for you! Not only can you get our insider tips delivered to your inbox above, but we highly recommend reaching out to our friends over at Small World Vacations! Disney World hotels now cost a small fortune for many fans, but the three All-Star Resorts tend to be the cheapest. Each resort area (split between Movies, Music, and Sports themes) is neighboring the other and that definitely came in handy on Madeleine’s trip! Disney bus for All-Star Music and Movies First of all, just look at how close the All-Stars are to each other. That makes it handy to visit the others, but that also means they share bus transportation. Map of all three All-Star Resorts Madeleine stayed in a room in the Mighty Ducks section of All-Star Movies. That’s the northernmost part of that hotel…and awfully far from the bus station. But, guess how CLOSE those rooms are to the All-Star Music bus station?! Hold up, we’ll zoom in. All-Star Movies map Although it’s not on a traditional Disney path, all it takes is a quick walk through the parking lot. After all, they share a bus anyway, so might as well take the most convenient path! Of course, be careful of cars driving like you would in any other parking lot, but we found this to be way easier and save us a lot of time on our trip. It’s that easy! The All-Star Resorts aren’t the only Disney World hotels that are spread out and require a decent walk to reach your room! Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort and Disney’s Port Orleans — Riverside are both notorious for this. The difference is these resorts have multiple bus stops at that one hotel. No matter which hotel you choose, we highly recommend checking the closest bus stop to your room as soon as you check in and get settled. It might be a different one than you think! Our favorite way to do this is through the My Disney Experience app. Bus stop Disney World already requires you to walk SO many steps each day through the parks, so don’t walk any more than you have to! We want to hear from you if you’ve ever “cheated” the system like this before!
