Disney4me
The EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival is in FULL swing. EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival Now, we were at the festival on DAY ONE, getting you all the details on the festival goings-on, as well as reviews of EVERY SINGLE FOOD BOOTH. But there’s one festival addition we haven’t talked about yet, and it’s something that’s been added to one of our favorite EPCOT rides. Yes, Living with the Land just got a special EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival overlay — and it’s worthy of the Disney princesses. We decided to take a cruise through one of our favorite EPCOT rides, Living with the Land to see this new overlay, and y’all — it’s dedicated to Disney Princesses. We got our first glimpse of one of the ride changes while going through one of the ride tunnels…do you see what we see? What’s that? It’s Moana’s boat! This area features a lot of little Moana touches, including oars, gourds, the fruits of Polynesia (yep, we spot pineapples), and more. There’s even a highlight of the jasmine flower, which is edible (and you can eat several edible flowers at this year’s food booths). We love how this display was so carefully thought out to represent the character of Moana. Moana! However, we also spotted an area in Living with the Land dedicated to Disney’s most well-read princess, Belle. Of course, there’s a table with a book (Belle’s favorite thing), as well as a tribute to Lumiere (see the candelabra?) and a teapot and teacups to represent Mrs. Potts and Chip. There are also some lovely breads and pastries because Belle lives in France. Belle-themed area Finally, our FAVORITE area might just be the one dedicated to Rapunzel. There’s an area with an easel, her art supplies, and lots of her art. Rapunzel was here But our favorite part of this area is that it has hidden Pascals. We spotted a few, although a Cast Member said there were at least four. So you’ll have to go through this part of the greenhouse (the last part of the greenhouse), keeping an eye out for Rapunzel’s chameleon pal. Hidden Pascal! This is such a charming addition to Living with the Land that we kinda hope Disney leaves it up after the festival. Of course, more festivals are on the way this year, and each one brings a new overlay to the ride. So, if you’re visiting EPCOT from now through May 27th, you’ll want to make sure to ride Living with the Land to see the Flower & Garden overlay before it’s gone.
