Disney4me
MORE changes are on the way for Disney Cruise Line soon! Disney Cruise Line! Disney Cruise Line has a LOT of news and updates, and the news just keeps on coming. With even MORE Disney Cruise Line ships set to join the fleet later this year with the Disney Destiny AND Disney Adventure, it would make sense that Disney is looking for ways to improve and streamline some of its boarding processes. We knew to expect a change to a staple offering before you board your next Disney cruise, but it seems there are a few new changes you’ll need to take note of before you set sail. We can feel the excitement radiating from you as your next Disney Cruise Line sailing approaches, BUT there’s a slight change that could affect how you get yourself (and, more importantly, your things) on board.Disney Cruise Line previously announced that changes were coming to its luggage tags for sailings back in January. These changes were designed to streamline the process of getting you onboard. Disney Wish at Castaway Cay More specifically, this new process includes a few changes to the luggage tags that consist of printed stateroom numbers (for those that already know before sailing), color coordination tags specific to your ship, and even designated tags with concierge symbols for concierge stateroom sailors. ©Disney More recently, though, Disney has followed up with a slight adjustment to the initial announcement a few months back that outlines the redesigned Luggage Tag Mailers (which are typically sent to you prior to your sailing). These new luggage tags will now be approximately the size of a double-sided mailer postcard, and will also contain the ship name, itinerary, sail dates, port arrival time, stateroom number (if available), and stateroom guest(s) names printed on the mailer, and a QR code will also be included which will prompt you to log in and view additional port arrival information on the online Guest Travel Booklet. However, if you don’t happen to receive your luggage tags in advance (or leave them behind as you’re packing up all the things to go), you can always visit the porters at the port to get new ones made for your luggage. This informational booklet about your upcoming sailing details is now completely online and includes details to help you reach your ship more easily. They will feature things like the port’s address, luggage tag information, citizenship documentation, My Online Check-In, what to pack, and much more. The new online Guest Travel Booklet will appear when you scan the Luggage Tag Mailer’s QR code by visiting www.DisneyCruise.com/LuggageTagMailer or on the Disney Cruise Line website by clicking Already Booked > My Reservations and clicking on the Get Details under Before You Can Board.
