Disney4me Posted Monday at 06:47 PM Report Share Posted Monday at 06:47 PM Moana 2, Disney’s MASSIVELY successful 2024 sequel is coming to streaming THIS WEEK. ©Disney The film, which has made over $1 billion at the worldwide box office to date (the third Disney film of 2024 to do so, following both Inside Out 2 and Deadpool & Wolverine), will debut on the Disney+ streaming service on March 12th. The Golden Globe-nominated Moana 2’s streaming release comes about 3.5 months after its theatrical release on November 27th, and about 1.5 months after its release as a digital download on January 28th. The film will be receiving a physical media release as well, with 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD versions being released on March 18th. ©Disney The film, which reunites Moana and Maui for “an expansive new voyage alongside a crew of unlikely seafarers” to “journey to the far seas of Oceania and into dangerous, long-lost waters for an adventure unlike anything she’s ever faced” stars Auliʻi Cravalho and Dwayne Johnson returning to their respective roles of Moana and Maui, with a direction team of David G.
