Disney4me
There’s a limited-time FREE snack you can grab at EPCOT now! We’ll take one! (or seven) EPCOT’s Flower & Garden Festival is now in full swing, and we’re so excited to see it return for another season. We’ve had so much fun eating everything at the outdoor kitchens, seeing the colorful topiaries, and doing all the fun scavenger hunts for exclusive prizes you just can’t do anywhere else at Disney World. But, there was one more thing we’ve got to tell you about and if you time your visit just right, you could score a free snack just for being in the park! Now that EPCOT has turned over a new “leaf” so to speak (read that as a new festival) it’s to usher in some warmer weather. There’s just something about EPCOT’s Flower & Garden Festival being in full bloom that makes us extra giddy to take a stroll around EPCOT and see all the fun character topiaries, check out the gardens, and pick up a tasty treat or two! Gardens in the CommuniCore Hall But, on select days there’s an extra special offering for adults and kids alike and it’s absolutely FREE! During the festival, EPCOT will be passing out free Uncrustables to visitors walking between World Celebration and World Showcase. These snacks are miniature peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with the crusts cut off as the name implies, and are a popular offering around several of Disney World’s quick service restaurants already. If you’re looking to catch this cart when its available, you’ll have to make sure you’re in the right place at the right time to make it happen! Snack cart Cast Members will be handing out complimentary Uncrustables starting around 11 AM on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays during the festival. These are handed out on a first-come, first serve basis at one per person and when we grabbed ours, we had a choice between Grape, Strawberry, and Raspberry flavors of jelly. Free Uncrustables You can find this cart with Cast Members handing out these individually packaged snacks right around the bronze Figment statue along the promenade walk between World Showcase and World Celebration. If you’re having some trouble finding it, you may just be a tad early or they’ve handed all of their supplies out for the day. We’ve seen these free snacks be completely handed out within a matter of minutes so if you’re looking to guarantee yours, you’ll want to be certain that you’re waiting around for the cart to be rolled out and one of the first in line to be able to get a treat. First come, first serve It’s an extremely popular offering for the festival that we’re glad to have seen returned for another year. It certainly helps curb your appetite you’ll work up as you scope out all of the festival’s outdoor kitchen and decide on which festival items you’re up for trying next.
