…but what about tacos? Believe it or not, you can find tacos on the menu all around Disney World — and not just in the Mexico Pavilion at EPCOT. In fact, we recently had some of the best tacos we’ve had on Disney World property just steps outside of EPCOT. We stopped by Rosa Mexicano at the Disney World Swan and Dolphin and trust us, you’ll want to, too!

Rosa Mexicano offers a contemporary interpretation of authentic Mexican cuisine which includes beloved classics and innovative dishes that pay tribute to Mexico’s richly varied culinary regions. Over 100 varieties of tequila and agave-based spirits are featured at the Disney World location, which is where we recently stopped for some lunch! We picked up the Fresh Ahi Tuna Tacos for $23.

Fresh Ahi Tuna Tacos served with beans and rice

These are made with fresh ahi tuna, soy, lime, red onion, sliced avocado, and cilantro, served on crispy corn tortillas with jalapeños. The tuna in the tacos was SO fresh. The tuna tasted really high in quality and we loved the inclusion of the soy and the lime — it gave it a really nice citrusy flavor that didn’t make the tuna taste too fishy. The crispy corn tortillas gave these a nice crunch, so it was really fun to eat texturally.

These were SO GOOD

BUT! Be warned that the jalapeno is hot. These were fresh, not pickled, and they were very spicy. We love that the tacos came with these big chunks of avocado slices, which was great because it added a nice coolness and freshness to the heat that we really enjoyed. And, while they look tiny, honestly, they were very, very filling.

Nice and fresh

If you love ahi tuna and tacos, you definitely need to stop by Rosa Mexicano to try these! We were able to snag a seat at the bar with no reservation.

In the meantime, we’ll be on the lookout for more Disney World eats to review for you! Make sure you stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog for the latest Disney restaurant news and more!
