Disney held its Annual Shareholder Meeting on March 20th, 2025, and gave updates on several different areas of the company — but it wasn’t until the very end that things got interesting.

CEO Bob Iger participated in a shareholder question and answer session at the end of the meeting and was asked about the company’s plans to address domestic theme park attendance along with price increases. But don’t worry, no price increases have been announced… yet.

Planning guide for the ultimate Disney vacation

During the Walt Disney Company Annual Shareholders Meeting on March 20th, 2025, CEO Bob Iger answered a few questions from shareholders — one of whom asked about the company’s plans to address attendance and price increases in the theme parks.

In response, Iger said that he was just at Disney World on a weekday in the middle of March recently and it was rather busy across the property. He continued and said that consumer demand for the parks and resorts is still extremely high, and so is the value Disney offers — noting that it’s “tremendous” especially when compared to other entertainment offerings like concerts and sporting events.

In addition, Iger said that the company’s current expansion efforts focusing on new rides and experiences “provide more capacity and more value to our guests.” There is more being designed and built today around the Disney parks — both domestically and internationally — than at any other point since the company has been in the theme park business.

It’s certainly an exciting time to be a Disney fan!

As far as price increases are concerned, Iger said that they appreciate that the parks create “lifelong memories for families,” and that in recent years — especially since Iger has returned as the leader of the Mouse House — they have provided “several options for families looking to spend less.”

This includes the lowest-priced ticket to Disneyland, which has not increased in price since before the COVID-19 pandemic. Disney has also tripled the number of days in which this ticket price is available.
