REVIEW: There’s A Reason There’s Never a LINE At This Disney World Snack Spot

Recommended Posts

There are plenty of places to grab a quick snack in Disney World, and it’s no secret we have some of our favorites.

Anaheim Produce

In Disney’s Hollywood Studios, though, great snacks are a little harder to come by, but in a pinch, we’ll make a meal out of Totchos and we’ll never turn down a Carrot Cake Cookie. However, there’s a little sorta’ hidden snack spot in Hollywood Studios you may not know about: Anaheim Produce. So we stopped by to grab some snacks and try them out. And now, we’re here with an honest review (maybe even a little TOO honest).

Anaheim Produce is pretty much a basic snack stand where you can grab drinks and snacks. The menu is pretty basic. However, this is one of many places where you can get a Mickey-shaped Pretzel served with Plastic Cheese for $7.99. Now, if you’ve had a Mickey pretzel, you’ll know these are a little denser than other pretzels and they’re nice and salty. It’s not super fresh (it’s been sitting in a warming box all day), but it’s good with that plastic cheese. However, we wouldn’t go out of our way to get a Mickey pretzel here as they are available ALL over the park.

Next up, we have to talk about the sorry state of churros in Disney World. However, we still got the Churro for $6.99 here, and yep, we were disappointed. If you’ve been to Disneyland, you might expect those super fresh churros that practically melt in your mouth. This is not that. It’s a stale churro that tastes like it’s been sitting outside forever with hardly any doughiness. They’re tough and the only good thing about them is the cinnamon sugar coating. Even the chocolate sauce we got with it was VERY thin and runny. This is why we never order churros from quick service spots in Disney World. Ever.

Sad churro

But we’re going to sing the praises of the boozy drink we discovered here. It’s Frozen Coca-Cola with Jack Daniel’s Whiskey for $15.50 and it is a MUST if you like the taste of Jack and Coke. It’s a refreshing take on that classic drink and you definitely get the flavor of the Coke and Jack Daniels. Be sure to give it a good mix, though, before you start drinking it because the alcohol ends up on the bottom. It does melt fast, but it’s still good melted. This is the perfect hot drink for a cold day.

Refreshing!

Well, one out of three ain’t bad, we guess. But this is really a spot you only stop at if you’re standing in front of it and need a drink and a quick snack.
