There’s nothing worse than getting stuck with a seat by the bathroom or missing out on a prime view of Cinderella Castle just because you didn’t know a few simple tricks. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just want to level up your dining experience, these tips can make all the difference.

Offer to Wait

One of the simplest (but most effective) ways to get a better table is to be willing to wait! A lot of guests expect to be seated right away, so if you let the host or hostess know that you’re happy to wait for a better table, they’re often more than willing to accommodate.
