A new restaurant is coming to Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resorts, and we’re so excited!

A new Michael Mina restaurant will be replacing Shula’s Steak House. The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin announced it will open its newest celebrity chef restaurant, Bourbon Steak by Michael Mina!

Chef Mina is a well-known chef with restaurants all over the country, mainly in Las Vegas, Nevada. He has multiple Michelin stars and has a few restaurants in Florida, including Bourbon Steak in Aventura and Prime 54 in Miami Beach. We’re excited to see what Chef Mina is bringing to Orlando! So far, we know that the restaurant menu will feature a reimagined modern take on the quintessential American steakhouse with premium cuts of beef and seafood infused with global flavors, along with decadent signature desserts, and world-class beverage offerings.

This will be the third location in Florida — you can currently visit a Bourbon Steak by Michael Mina restaurant in Miami and Delray Beach.

If you use the International Gateway Entrance, Shula’s Steak House is a few steps away from EPCOT. The restaurant is named and themed after Don Shula, the head coach of the Miami Dolphins. He was head coach in 1972, which was deemed their “Perfect Season.”

There are lots of nods to this “Perfect Season,” and it has a dark and intimate steakhouse feel. They also have Shula’s Lounge, a bar where you can enjoy a drink and watch the game.

The Walt Disney World Dolphin confirmed that Bourbon Steak will replace Shula’s Steakhouse in the Walt Disney World Dolphin. Shula’s Steakhouse will take reservations through June 14th, 2025. We still don’t have an opening date for the new restaurant, but we know the anticipated debut of Bourbon Steak by Michael Mina is mid-summer.
