The Official Disney Fan Event is set to kick off on August 29th, 2025, and you can finally make sure you’re in the room where it happens. This year’s Destination D23 is called A Journey Around the Worlds of Disney. It will take place from Friday, August 29th, through Sunday, August 31st, at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort! This will be the biggest Destination D23 so far, and there’s going to be so much to see and do. ©Disney This event will have behind-the-scenes stories, special guests, and live performances! Not only that, we anticipate getting a sneak peek into the Walt Disney Company’s future, including some new information regarding the theme parks, movies, shows, and more! The event also offers exclusive shopping and new surprises throughout the weekend. ©d23 The event will include the activities below, plus more! Disney archivists, historians, Imagineers, Cast Members, filmmakers, Disney Legends, and luminaries star in two days of programming spanning all the worlds of Disney! Panels dedicated to the attractions, entertainment, and experiences that define Disney theme parks and cruise ships. A preview of exciting upcoming projects from creators and storytellers at The Walt Disney Studio! A trip around the world with the Walt Disney Archives, featuring interstitial programming focusing on Disney’s vast connections and history to locales around the globe, including a special 80th-anniversary celebration of all things south of the border with The Three Caballeros! Charting the Course, Disney’s Global Stories & Inspirations, is an exhibit that celebrates the company’s storytelling presented by the Disney Archives. Snag tickets right here! ©d23 In addition to the main event, there will also be several special ticketed events throughout the weekend. D23 Kuzcotopia Night at Typhoon Lagoon: Saturday, August 30th, guests will be able to celebrate 25 years of Disney Animation’s The Emperor’s New Groove with a private event at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park! The party will include “special tributes to Disney’s water parks”, complimentary snacks, photo opportunities, special activities, and exclusive entertainment. Disney ’80s-’90s Celebration in Concert, presented by Disney+: This special concert “caps off the weekend’s journey with the ultimate throwback experience showcasing the best hits of these fan-favorite decades.” Broadway and Disney Animation stars will go through the iconic Disney songs of the 80s and 90s through a generation of films and TV shows, with live performances, rock-concert lighting, and projections. A Goofy Movie Throwback Premiere: On Thursday, August 28th, the Disney Springs AMC Theater will host a special 30th-anniversary screening of A Goofy Movie in the same theater where the film’s Florida premiere was staged 30 years ago. This is a separately ticketed event available to all D23 Members, and tickets will go on sale at a later date. ©d23 Tickets that are now on sale are for D23 Gold Members only, with prices beginning at $299. Preferred ($549) and Premier ($799) seating will also be available. This event is set to be a big one for Disney World and Disney fans alike!
