EPCOT If you plan to make your way around the 11 pavilions, you’ll find yourself visiting Canada and taking in everything this country’s pavilion has to offer. One of the quieter and less-talked-about pavilions, Canada is still very charming and is packed with things to do. While you can read all about those activities and offerings via our guide and the Disney World website, we’re letting you in on a few tips that could really elevate your visit. Whether or not its your first time making a stop in the Canada Pavilion, these tips could help you make the most out of the themed area while adjusting your itinerary accordingly. So, without further ado, let’s hum “O Canada” and explore some fun features this pavilion has to offer! EPCOT’s Canada Pavilion When it comes to delicacies, Canada is certainly known for its poutine and beer. You’ll find plenty of both at the Canada Pavilion in EPCOT. A popular spot for poutine is over at Refreshment Port, which is right near the pavilion. Whether you’re browsing for snacks and beer during a festival or on non-festival days, you’ll find plenty of Canadian offerings. Many folks start Drinking Around the World in the Mexico Pavilion, but beer enthusiasts and Disney experts know that if the goal is try great brews, the best place to start is actually in Canada. 81Bay Apricot Maple Beer Speaking of eats, the Canada Pavilion is also home to one of the premier EPCOT restaurants — Le Cellier. Le Cellier Steakhouse is a cellar that you’ll have to keep a special eye out for, as it’s tucked away in the pavilion. The dining room is quite small and themed after a Canadian wine cellar, not too dissimilar to Le Château Frontenac and Fairmont Château Laurier. Le Cellier The food is VERY good at this Signature restaurant, offering delicious steaks, appetizers (like the Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup), poutine, and other innovative and hearty items. We recommend making dining reservations here 60 days in advance. ©Disney Another thing to know is that this pavilion isn’t one you can just simply pass through — it requires some time to marvel at. The Canada Pavilion is really gorgeous, with an earthy/countryside aesthetic and some hidden quiet spots. Canada Pavilion in EPCOT If you want a moment to yourself or some peace in a scenic environment, it’s super tough to beat the Canada Pavilion. Admire the totem poles or stroll through the gorgeous gardens. Really take in all the beauty this pavilion has on full display. World Showcase is BEAUTIFUL We previously mentioned how most folks start in Mexico. When you do this, you typically end your day in Canada. Mexico Pavilion Therefore, if you want to avoid huge crowds earlier in the day, start in Canada instead. While everyone is rushing to grab margaritas and head clockwise, you can do the exact opposite and deal with a lot less foot traffic while you sip on a beer or chow down on some tasty Canadian grub.
