Disney4me
Disney World can be an overwhelming place for introverts, with the resort’s theme parks and water parks often teeming with people in all corners. Which can make it even more important to have a peaceful hotel to return to after an overwhelming day. Crowds However, there are some Walt Disney World hotels that – – whether due to layout, popularity, or geographic location – – are better suited for introverted guests than others. Port Orleans Located near Disney Springs, the massive Port Orleans complex is made up of two resorts: Port Orleans Resort French Quarter and Port Orleans Resort Riverside (the backstory there is… complicated, but suffice to say it was formerly two hotels that were combined into one). Port Orleans — Riverside The resort’s large sprawling grounds give guests plenty of spaces to spend time on their own. Plus, the fact that it’s so (comparatively) far from Disney’s theme parks often make it feel “emptier” than many of the resort’s other hotels. Port Orleans French Quarter Caribbean Beach Resort As anyone who has stayed at the Caribbean Beach resort knows, the hotel has a massive footprint. The complex is actually made of several buildings and guest centers connected by long walking paths. Said paths provide several small nooks and crannies where introverted guests can stop and take a breather – – often looking out at the hotel’s central body of water – – without worrying about running into anyone else. Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort Animal Kingdom Lodge There are few more pleasant spots at a Walt Disney World hotel for an introvert than a cozy spot in front of Animal Kingdom Lodge’s windows. Here, you can look out onto the resort’s Savanah, observing many of the animals who call it home. Best of all, these areas are often not crowded during the afternoon hours, as many guests are at the parks. Animal Kingdom Lodge Fort Wilderness What’s more introvert-friendly than a private cabin? The Fort Wilderness campground, which opened just a month after Walt Disney World itself in November of 1971, provides these, plus a serene natural environment that feels well-removed from the resort’s hustle and bustle despite being located near the Magic Kingdom. Room inside The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort Saratoga Springs Finally, let’s circle back to Saratoga Springs. This resort is located in the same area as Port Orleans, giving it many of the same advantages for introverts. In addition the fact that’s a Disney Vacation Club resort gives introverted guests even more space to be on their own in its Treehouse Villas.
