Disney4me
Shut them down, shut them down TODAY. Turf Club Spread There are hundreds of restaurants in Disney World, and while many of them are pretty spectacular, some spots just need to be put out of their misery already. Today, we’re rounding up the list of Disney World HOTEL restaurants that we think should be closed, replaced, or boarded up, never to be spoken of again! Outer Rim First up, we’ve got Outer Rim, which is a lounge/bar at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. It’s located on the fourth-floor concourse, but it’s definitely not living up to its potential, if you ask us! The decor is pretty plain, even though the name implies a fun space theme. Outer Rim Our main complaint here, though, is the menu. There are no food items available, and the drink selection is fairly basic and not any more exciting than other Disney World bars. With such a prime location, this could be a hotspot in the evenings if Disney spruced up the decor and added some small plates to the menu. These Are the Best Value Disney World Lounges for 2025! Turf Club Bar & Grill One of the most heavily disliked restaurants in Disney World is Turf Club Bar & Grill, located at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort. This equestrian-themed spot has a pretty basic menu with American fare, from seafood to steak to burgers, as well as some simple appetizers and desserts. Turf Club Bar & Grill The problem is that we’ve had some VERY mixed experiences here. In the course of one meal, we’ve had courses alternate between fairly yummy and abysmal, so it’s incredibly unpredictable overall. You may enjoy your meal or you may find it too salty, overcooked, or lacking in general flavor. Also, the theme is not nearly as immersive or fun as other spots at Deluxe Resorts. Beach Club Marketplace and The Market at Ale & Compass are the quick service spots at Beach Club and Yacht Club, respectively, and they’re rather disappointing when compared to other quick service spots at Deluxe Resorts. Beach Club Marketplace Both of these restaurants are located INSIDE resort gift shops, and they serve limited options, mostly centered around refrigerated or pre-made food — you won’t be getting hot French fries here! Neither spot has much seating available, either. When compared to the awesome quick service options you can find at the Grand Floridian or the Polynesian Village Resorts, these just fall short. The whole dining room at the Market at Ale & Compass There are SO many great places to dine around the Disney World hotels, it was actually a challenge to create this list. If you’re looking for delicious food in Disney World, we often recommend resort dining, and most of the spots are pretty stellar.
