Disney4me Posted April 23 Report Share Posted April 23 The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort is updating its the maximum occupancy rule. Currently, if you book a fully equipped campsite at Disney’s Fort Wilderness, you can have up to 10 guests on the site. However, beginning in 2026, the maximum occupancy will only be 8 guests. Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground This decrease in the number of guests on each site applies to Premium Campsites, Premium Meadow Campsites, Full Hook-Up Campsites, Tent or Pop-Up Campsites, and Preferred Campsites. Those are ALL the campsites that are not the cabins at Fort Wilderness. The cabins at Fort Wilderness can accommodate up to 6 guests. If you are visiting Fort Wilderness in 2025, you can still have 10 guests on your site, but beginning in 2026, you will only be able to have 8 guests per site. Make sure you plan accordingly and book the correct number of sites for your group. You don’t want to have to vote someone off the campsite if you thought you could have 9 people on your site. Fort Wilderness Disney’s Fort Wilderness is an excellent option if you are looking to bring an RV, pop-up, or tent camp. The campground features 750 acres of pine and cypress forest, and not only can you see the Magic Kingdom fireworks on the beach, but the campground also has numerous activities you can take advantage of. Disney’s Fort Wilderness Some of the activities offered at Fort Wilderness include relaxing by the pool, singing along with Chip and Dale, seeing the Disney horses, learning how to be an archer, taking horseback rides, and much more. Plus, the campground offers complimentary transportation to the theme parks, and you can take advantage of Early Theme Park Entry.
