Disney4me
Disney Cruises are supposed to be all about magic, relaxation, and maybe a Mickey ice cream bar (or seven). Disney Destiny But let’s be real — even the most magical place at sea isn’t immune to people completely losing their minds. Whether it’s elevator chaos or candy shop meltdowns, we’ve heard some WILD stories from Disney Cruise Line guests. So today, we’re sharing a few tales of people behaving very badly on the high seas. Elevator Etiquette? Never Heard of Her Look, elevators on cruise ships can be a hot mess — we get it. But you’d hope people would at least pretend to have some manners. One guest who uses a wheelchair shared that people constantly cut in front of them at the elevators, totally ignoring that, hey, maybe this person actually needs the elevator more than you do after your third trip to the soft serve machine. Disney Magic Elevator The kicker is that it wasn’t just once. It was constant. People literally rushing past a wheelchair user so they could snag a ride first. Absolutely not. The Guy Who Kicked a Wheelchair If you thought the elevator situation was bad well… buckle up. Same guest, different setting: they were sitting in ADA seating at a theater (you know, the spot specifically designated for wheelchair users), and a man behind them decided that his view was more important than their existence. So what did he do? ©Disney He kicked the wheelchair to get them to move. Because apparently, this guy thought “accessibility seating” meant “in my way.” We have no words. Game Show Humiliation: Family Edition If you’ve never seen a Disney Cruise game show, just know it’s part trivia, part chaos, and a whole lot of family-friendly(ish) fun. Usually. But sometimes… it gets a little too real. One kiddo decided to go all in and roast his mom in front of a full audience. During a game show, the host asked for an embarrassing story, and this kiddo did not hold back. ©Disney He told the ENTIRE room — including cast members, strangers, and possibly Mickey Mouse himself — that his mom “sharted in the middle of a ’s Sporting Goods.” Cue: stunned silence, followed by nervous laughter, followed by Mom probably looking into witness protection. Look, we’ve all been embarrassed by our kids. But this? This was next-level. The Candy Shop Tantrum Heard Round the Ship Inside Out: Joyful Sweets on the Disney Wish is an adorable little candy shop full of pastel colors, themed treats, and fun vibes. It’s also not part of the “free food” included in your cruise fare — and apparently, that was news to one very angry grown adult. Joyful Sweets A guest witnessed a full-on tantrum from a grown man who discovered that yes, you actually have to pay for the candy in the candy shop. He stomped, yelled, and made a scene in front of families and kids — because he had to shell out for a sweet. We’re talking total meltdown. Over sugar. On a luxury cruise. Make it make sense. Fear and Anger Look, we all have our moments. Travel can be stressful, even on a Disney Cruise. But if you find yourself kicking wheelchairs, yelling over candy, or exposing bodily functions on stage… maybe take a deep breath and remember: you’re literally on a floating vacation with basically unlimited ice cream and fireworks. Be cool. Or at least… not this chaotic. Stay tuned to DFB for more on the Disney Cruise Line.
