NEWS: Disney World Announces CHANGE To Moderate Hotel Bookings for 2026

If you’re thinking about planning a Disney World trip to escape from… ** gestures at everything ** now is a great time to do it!

A TON of new hotel discounts and deals just dropped, and we’ve got everything you need to know about them right here. Disney World has three types of hotels: Deluxe, Moderate, and Value, each with a different set of amenities and perks. If you’re someone who likes to stay at Disney’s Moderate hotels, we’ve got an important update you need to know about before you book!

Heads up! Disney World vacation packages are now available to book for 2026, and if you’re thinking about making the trip we’ve got an important update about Disney’s Moderate hotels!

Coronado Springs

For 2026 bookings, Disney will be adjusting the names of some room categories at Disney Moderate Resorts. Moving forward, the main room categories will be Standard Room, Preferred Room, or a room with a king bed. Some Disney Moderate Resorts will continue to offer additional categories, like the Royal Guest Room category at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort—Riverside.

• Disney’s Port Orleans Resort—French Quarter
