This is a returning exhibit, but they’ve got all new surprises this year.From the Bean to the BarYou can pick up packaged Ghirardelli goodies here, and get an education about the chocolate-making process. But today we’d like to show you something that’s easy to miss if you’re not on the lookout. There are some pretty amazing displays created by none other than Disney Pastry Chefs… and they’re made of CHOCOLATE!Chocolate Sculpture IntroductionCheck out this gathering of many of our favorite Disney Villains created by the chefs at Disney’s BoardWalk.Disney Villians chocolate sculptureDisney Villians chocolate sculptureDisney Villians chocolate sculptureThe Contemporary Resort’s Bakery crafted a tribute to its neighbor in the Magic Kingdom: the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, complete with a gem-eyed Dopey!Seven Dwarfs Mine Train chocolate sculptureSeven Dwarfs Mine Train chocolate sculptureFittingly, the chefs at Hollywood Studios created a fun display featuring all the Toy Story characters we love.Toy Story chocolate sculptureToy Story chocolate sculptureToy Story chocolate sculptureAnd the team at Yacht & Beach Club contributed this stunning, “fire”-breathing Maleficent.Maleficent chocolate sculptureMaleficent chocolate sculptureThe Epcot Central Bakery surprised with an Avatar display, and the vivid colors are truly eye-catching.Avatar chocolate sculptureAvatar chocolate sculptureThe Grand Floridian Bakery team is famous for its annual display of Chocolate Easter Eggs, and they impress once again with this incredibly detailed scene depicting “Bears†from the Disney Nature films.Bears chocolate sculptureBears chocolate sculptureMuch like the Grand Floridian Easter Eggs on display each spring and the larger-than-life Gingerbread creations that pop up in celebration of the holidays, these sculptures are another fun example chefs-as-artists.
