More Disneyland Halloween goodies for you today!

Already a great little stop for a snack and a drink, Maurice’s Treats at the Fantasy Faire has added a new reason to go and get a “Twist.”

Maurice’s Treats normally serves up 3 types of baked “Twists.”  They currently offer Strawberry, Chocolate, and Cheddar Garlic Bagel flavors.  In addition to the usual flavors, a Pumpkin Twist has debuted for Halloween Time.

I’m basically nuts about anything pumpkin, so I knew I’d love this.  AND….  Yep, I totally did.

The twist is how I’d picture a hand held pumpkin pie.  Made from fresh dough layered with pumpkin pie type filling, it’s sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar and served to you warm.  You can see the pumpkin layer in the close up below where I peeled the twist apart.

It would have been perfect to have this on a chilly Fall day, but unfortunately it’s been in the high 90′s here in California for what seems like forever!  To beat the heat, make sure to order a Boysen-Apple Freeze to go with your twist.  The boysenberry apple combination is a refreshing combo.

AND, because one Fantasyland location (Small World Lemonade Cart) was not enough for the high demand, the Poison Apple Glow Cube can be added to your drink here at Maurice’s Treats too!

Pumpkin Twists can be found at both Maurice’s Treats in Disneyland and over at Sally’s Cozy Cones in Disney California Adventure.  If you’re a pumpkin foods fan like myself, get on this! You’ve got until October 31st.
