Better-For-You Snack Options in Epcot

Recommended Posts

Looking for a quick stop at Epcot with better-for-you options? That’s what you’ll find at this brightly-colored kiosk just outside The Land Pavilion in Future World (home of Soarin’, Living with the Land, and – of course – Garden Grill and Sunshine Seasons).

Better-for-you treats (healthy stuff!) can be located at a few spots throughout the parks – including places like Anaheim Produce in Hollywood Studios, Prince Eric’s Village Market in Magic Kingdom, and Harambe Fruit Market in Animal Kingdom. These stands offer a lot in the way of grab-and-go fruits and veggies, hummus, bags of Craisins brand Trail Mix, and sometimes items like Fruit and Cheese assortments (as is the case with this stand in Epcot).

Of course, this stand has been here for some time, and still serves up its classic offerings: Frozen Beverages in Blue Raspberry or Raspberry Lemonade and some good ol’ Mickey Pretzels.

The Fruit and Cheese Plates differ a bit. You can get Cheddar and Swiss cubes, but little ones (and some big kids, too!) may prefer the String Cheese option.

I like that the hummus here isn’t the pre-packaged variety you’ll primarily find at the other spots. It more closely resembles the fresh hummus at Mr. Kamal’s in Animal Kingdom (though it’s worth noting you’ll need to grab your to-be-dipped items separately, like the Garlic and Parmesan Pita Chips available here, or the Vegetable Plate).

Thanks to Sunshine Seasons, The Land Pavilion is not short on heathy treats. But if you’re on the hunt for a snack that provides nutritional value along with taste – but don’t feel like joining the masses on the escalators on their way to Soarin’ – it’s good to know that spots like this exist.
