Disney4me
It’s Friday, and that means one thing to me: HAPPY HOUR! But it’s also just weeks — WEEKS, PEOPLE! — from the start of the 2015 Epcot Food and Wine Festival!Beginning on September 25 and running more than 7 weeks, this year’s Festival promises to be extra special as we mark the 20th Anniversary of the event. We’re looking forward to trying some new dishes and revisiting some old favorites. And of course, along with the eats, there will be plenty of fantastic drink options to enjoy as well. Back again this year is the Frozen Szarlotka Cocktail at the Poland Marketplace Booth. It’s a great pairing with all of the dishes at the Poland Booth, like the Kielbasa & Potato Pierogi with Caramelized Onions and Sour Cream as well as the Sauerkraut Pierogi. (Want to make the Kielbasa and Potato Pierogies at home too? Check out our recipe here.)Frozen Szarlotka (Apple Pie) featuring Zubrowka Bison Grass VodkaThis is THE perfect drink for Fall in Florida. It has that wonderful flavor of Apple Cider, but it’s nice and icey, which may make you forget for a moment that it’s still 90 degrees outside. And it’s SUPER easy to put together! Take a look.Frozen Szarlotka (Apple Pie)Poland Marketplace BoothServes 1Ingredients:1 ounce Zubrowka (Polish Bison Grass Fed Vodka)6 ounces apple cider1 cup iceFresh apple cubes, for garnishInstructions:1.
