A Hassle-Free Honeymoon with Adventures by Disney

What’s your dream honeymoon? Beaches? Sightseeing? Opulent dining? Unforgettable activities? An Adventures by Disney vacation offers all these options and more!

When I got married four years ago my husband petitioned for booking an Adventures by Disney trip for our honeymoon and his reasoning was pretty solid: With all the stress that goes into planning a wedding, why not book a honeymoon where all the planning had already been done for us? By choosing Adventures by Disney we knew we’d get an amazing honeymoon experience without the legwork that normally goes into mapping out a getaway to a foreign land.

We chose an adult-exclusive departure of the Adventures by Disney Germany trip, which fulfilled my fairytale dreams of sleeping in a castle (and seeing castles – we toured four in all), strolling through quaint European villages, trotting along on a horse-drawn carriage ride and finding out what my husband looks like in lederhosen (I know I’m partial but I think it’s a good look for him).

And while I don’t say this often (or at all now that we’re a few years into this marriage), my husband is an absolute genius for choosing Adventures by Disney. The experience was romantic, hassle-free, fun and truly memorable. We had the opportunity to venture off on our own to explore the cities we visited, while coming together with our fellow adventurers to enjoy unique experiences we likely wouldn’t have had the opportunity to plan on our own, such as biking along an Alpine lake, trying our hand at pretzel making and exploring the “Romantic Road” of Bavaria on a twilight tour with a lamp-lit night watchman.

And we weren’t the only ones drawn to this sort of carefree honeymoon experience. On our tour there was another honeymooning couple. We became close friends throughout our trip, and we are still close today! We sailed with our fellow Adventures by Disney pals on the Disney Fantasy this past January, and we’ll be enjoying some time at Walt Disney World Resort together in just a few days time. Is another Adventures by Disney trip in the plans to help celebrate our 5-year anniversary next year? You bet. I wouldn’t want to mark this occasion any other way.
