We are bidding you Season’s Greetings from sunny California today! After all, no holiday is complete without a trip to…Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar!

Right?! I mean, what’s Christmas without a little Aloha! Ahoy! AHA!  Well, even if you can’t make it to Trader Sam’s this Christmas, we can all share in a little holiday cheer explorer-style, thanks to reader Shannon Gourlay, who shared these pics with us on facebook!

There are a few different options at Trader Sam’s if you’d like to choose a holiday adult beverage with a healthy dose of tropical flavor.

You can get caught in a Tropical Snowstorm, which features Honey Flavored Whiskey and Coconut Rum mixed with Coconut Cream and warm spices. Yum! Or if you really want to announce your arrival, you might try a Jungle Bells. There’s nothing quiet about this zippy drink, which combines 8 Year Demerara Rum, Anise Liqueur, Vanilla, and Ginger Beer.

But Shannon went for the Red-Nosed Zebra.

After all, how can you go wrong with Aged Rum, Strawberry Puree, and Lemon and Lime Juices?? Sounds a little Kungaloosh-style in spirit to me!

I’m thinking any and all of the fun drinks would go well with some of the amazing dishes at Trader Sam’s. Ahhhhhh — now I’m dreaming of a Tropical Snowstorm and a Pu Pu Platter!

What do you think — which drink would you order if we could meet at Trader Sam’s for a holiday happy hour? Leave a comment and let us know which is your favorite!
