First Look at 2016 Star Wars Half Marathon Weekend Merchandise

As many of you know, there’s recently been an awakening in the Force. runDisney enthusiasts from the outer rim will soon enter a galaxy we like to call the Disneyland Resort. The Star Wars Half Marathon Weekend is set to take place January 14–17, 2016, and I can tell you this much ─ this year’s merchandise is out of this world.

The vintage-style design and logos of this year’s collection include subtle nods to X-wing fighters and classic Star Wars characters. In some cases, the patterns even seem to play a trick of the eye, creating what could be a certain villainous character. Not only that, but the throwback color palette is sure to hit home with Star Wars fans everywhere, as well as the occasional use of Aurebesh.

Look for the art to appear in a variety of formats and styles on short- and long-sleeve T-shirts, a ladies tank, hoodies, hat, magnets and performance jackets. If you’re curious as to what the team has so cleverly emblazoned on the back of the jackets … The Force is Strong With Me, of course.

Have you chosen to take on the Star Wars Rebel Challenge? No matter where your loyalties lie, the Rebel Alliance has certainly left their mark on this line of long and short sleeve T-shirts, pants magnet and hat, with art inspired by several notable figures, as well as a clever use of X-wing fighter pilot helmet.

Whether you choose to participate in one or all of the races taking place, look for an entire collection dedicated to the weekend event, including “I Did It” 5K and 10K T-shirts, an event logo T-shirt, performance T-shirt and jacket, tumbler, water bottle and mug, stem glass and backpack.
